- Look, the games we play are great, but they’re also glitchy as hell.
All the random, infuriating, malfunctioning bits of code suck when they happen to you, but they’re even more annoying for the pros.
Whether it's with buggy League of Legends minions, CS:GO's awful spaghetti code, or PUBG's mysterious flying, exploding cars, glitches have messed up pro play more than you can imagine.
One bad glitch can cost a player an entire tournament, so today, we’re gonna look at the times where those bugs f@*ked over esports’ top players.

Definitely missed the jump spot bug in CSGO that resulted in a gentlemen's agreement to not use it.

@@chaimschnittman9898 Its something where if you jump crouch (or other way around, i forgot how to do it), you can see the enemy by jumping, but since you're "crouching" (game thinks this way) your head doesnt pop up above. You can see them, they cant see you BUT they can hear you fall from the jumping. Broken nonetheless as info can be gathered on how many pushing a site

Tbh, I really dont know why anyone still goes pro or watches blizacti e-sports. They put so little effort into it they might as well do nothing
League of legends: You can't block a minion / Minions can block you.
That's pretty nice.
You learn quick to not get stuck and to always move about them not in them. I, not even a ranked, knows this.
As a dota2 player, I find that quite sad coz we can body block literally every unit in dota

True, but you can pause custom games so for a pro scene, you can, but it would be very nice to have in ranked and such.

Dissapointed you guys didnt put dota 2 DPC where EG loss the game due to the tiny toss buyback bug, a bug that may as well be as old as the game itself and after years of reddit complaints to fix this bug it wasnt until EG loss due to it that valve decided to finally patch it. it was the EG vs QC game
That turned several pro games. It was considered a feature by many players.
Both that and the fountain hook, I mean it decided a TI and they decided to put in shitty lol clips
that get announced in patch note so thats not a bug its a feature

Pokemon stadium is well-known as very buggy, esp. when it changes the that form of the map. Something about that raised bit in the center has a lot of clipping issues, and is so bouncy/trapping in that corner that it changes combo potential.

@@adibrahman3321 He used a dash ability that taunts enemies that he slides through. The same reason he couldn't walk out normally is the reason why he could never be in that position to begin with. Because of the dash mechanic, that worked exactly as intended.

I'm somewhat surprised R6 Siege bugs weren't included, there are so many instances that have had massive effect on outcomes of rounds or even matches, like walls not breaking properly.
you can't cover the Cod BO4 LG moment and not talk about Tommey taking the mic and getting the crowd to call LG shit
Disappointed that they didnt include siege such as pojoman being stuck inside the wall in consulate, and the bomb planted at 1st floor and was defused from second floor smh

The game between Nigma vs Secret. Nigma was winning and then the game crashed min 14 and no one can't reconect. Valve call a remake and Nigma losed it.

The karrigan Deagle was simply a game mechanic and not getting screwed over. The deagle took very long to reset accuracy after jumping.
Yet you can get flicked in 0.01s by someone running... hmm

@@Julian-pw5mv ah yes, counter strike, where Ferrari peaking and tap strafing is more accurate than standing still after a jump.
The CSGO molly bug still happens and the dgl shot from Karrigan wasnt even a glitch, but just really bad weapon balancing from Valve.
Damn didnt have the sneaky blue orb glitch that cost them hugely in the game vs IG :/ worst part is the bug got fixed a few patches later with a reference to it costing sneaky his life at worlds.
Karriagan still hat recoil / inaccuracy because he just jumped.

No bug, just a pro that shot too fast after jumping.
Indeed, every pro should know that.
They patched that about 1.5 years ago.
You could see the bullet travel through his head. The only reason it looked like it went above was the angle
he stood still for enough time no way that was too fast after jumping
@@lemonadestandclips3349 he didnt, old deagle took about 2 secs after jumping to be accurate. Patched 1.5 years ago.

I'd love IRL Melee tournaments to cameback and see if they are going to play with frozen Pokemon Stadium or not. I'm not really sure if they doing that for summit 11
On the FalleN thing, Sadokist said that tbh it didn't matter cuz Twistzz hit him with that AK and he would've died anyway

5:17 dude that wasn't really a bug the deagle was well known to have really bad accuracy recovery after jumping, i remember that shit before they finally changed it, people used to quick swap back to deagle just to remedy the inaccuracy after a jump back then.

I think #6 is actually the walk-crouch inaccuracy bug. If you hold walk, then crouch while moving, CSGO will bring you to full running inaccuracy for around half a second. I don't know if that's what happened, but Karrigan was walking, then jumped to the ledge and landed crouched.
It wasn't, that was just the normal deagle inaccuracy after jumping, it used to have a really long accuracy recovery time after jumping, people usually quick swap the weapon to reset the accuracy. And karrigan fired the deagle right after jumping without quick swapping, so the gun just wasn't accurate.

It didn't really fuck anyone over but i miss the pre 2017/18 dota late games where shit would just break and particle barf would spew every where past the 60minute mark it was fantastic
The chicken one was great just because the commentators were so insouciant about saying "Well you can press E and have them follow you around."
Rainbow six had the "Nice caveira play" bug, a crazy bug that happened when you spammed leaning left+right with caveira's silent step, so the game registered your head lower than it actually was.
An APAC player used it on Villa L corridor, so he got a Free Kill with this and Gohan.Liquid got tilted.

Minion block is the dumbest thing in the game. Pathing in league has been getting worse and worse every year, at this point it should just be removed

Actually when you attack with the knife you don't attack a point but a zone (around 90 degree) that's why you can deal damage to someone who is close to you even though you weren't pointing the knife at that person

No siege glitches, they didn't even make an SI video..especially with the story behind it NiP got 2nd to 1st, a glitch in Siege could be idk G2 vs ONE (Si 2021), REC vs NiP (S10 Finals), and even Empire vs FaZe SI 2020

karrigan one isnt a glitch, he still had inaccuracy because he jumped, if im not mistaken it takes 3 seconds for the inaccuracy to go away when jumping with a deagle, so yeah
