Im from Mobile AL and grew up on the same waters as Jimmy Buffett
My pops told me they were drinking at a bar on the causeway in Mobile in the mid 80s and Jimmy walked in.. he happened to also be friends with the bar tender who was also my pops buddy. So Jimmy invites them back to his yacht that night for a “little party” (in his words) … my dad said you’d never seen so many topless beautiful women n they said Jimmy was litttt. JB showed them around, and in his laid back gulf coast hippie voice was like “Hey mannn.. make yalls selves at home, we got the bar over there, some grass.. and if ya like something more, a lil cocaine in here” dad said JB pointed to the table and there was 2 one gallon ziplock bags half full with powder spilling out on the table. Then Jimmy said “I don’t really do that stuff man.. but yall have at it if ya want” and All the while he had lil cocaine boogers hanging out of his nose 🤣🤣🤣
Anyway, my old man said that was one of the best nights of his life and he said Jimmy was the real deal. A kind, funny, good man, and one hell of a songwriter!! RIP PIRATE 🏴‍☠️

This needs WAY more views. This isn’t just a song, it’s a lifestyle,

Agree 110%, easily one of Jimmy's best.

It wasn't a "lifestyle" that Jimmy really lived. He was a hard-working, hard-charging capitalist.

This Austin City Limits Concert is the single best concert of Jim's career. This rendition of Changes In Latitude is flawless. Excellent Bravo!

Reminds me a little bit of Gordon Lightfoot they would have made a good duo I know Jimmy covered some of his songs.

@@mnnomad1870 There's a quote somewhere where Jimmy says "He was the greatness my mediocracy tried to imitate" It's funny, humble and true. Jimmy is great but Gordon is in a different league.

Can others please help me out?
Am very well versed in the members of the CRB, certainly in the shorts and bare foot times, that may have been after the mid 80's?
Don't know the names of the band members here. Take it that's Josh Leo on lead? where's Mike Utley, it may be my eyesight, however it does not appear to be him on keyboards, yet thought he had been with Jimmy since Day 1? No Tina, when did she join, maybe also later 80s when Jimmy apparently took action to have some less helpful lifestyle choices removed from both his and the band's day to day lives. Mac, joined later, but has been with Jimmy for a long time.
Most importantly, cannot see the stellar harpoon player, Fingers Taylor in this band and he was responsible for being such a magic influence in most of Jimmy's early recordings and live shows.
    Thanks in advance.

This looks like the CRB circa late 80s. I see Josh Leo, Mike Utley is on piano, Timothy B. Schmidt on bass, Sam Clayton on tamborine in background, Robert Greenwich on steel drums. I don't see Fingers but he may be off stage or somewhere we can't see him. He didn't leave the band until 2000.

From other clips I have seen of this performance, Fingers was there, maybe not featuring on this song. I have no idea who was playing on the organ, clearly not Mike Utley, who was on piano keyboards, as usual this time. @@ajsnskool
