Honestly I think the only thing making Miraidon tolerable is people insist on playing Thunder instead of Parabolic Charge. Its still way to strong but instead of setting up the combo in 3 seconds with charge if they play thunder they give you the chance to close the distance to them or run away before getting melted by the death laser.
I used flail snorlax with a crit build and counter it use yawn to stun for 2 seconds do damage with flail and when he uses the charge beam eject button behind it since it get can’t when in its animation
I played several games with a Miraidon on the enemy team and won what felt like 2/3ds of them. There is hope that the Miraidon players on your enemy teams won't know how to actually pilot the illegal Pokémon.
This thing needs reduced range to force it to be closer to enemies to be a little more riskier to play against people, and higher cd's on charge beam, the things range is insane honestly, unless you can oneshot him, you are going to get constantly chipped, especially if they have good support and peel...
I used a mage build with electro drift/thunder. Makes you less reliant on melee damage and drift can be used to finish them off while you sit back and spam thunder and unite move.
Electro drift Miraidon is an insult to Zoroark who requires you multiple to and fro on faint to actually get your combo, while Miradion has to just land 2 forward drifts to get its combo move, which on top of that has execute, and has another move that gives it 1 extra drift even if missed. And the other beam move is disgusting with huge damage and huge range, its just so toxic time to be playing this game.
The only pokemon that is guaranteed to get out of challenging miraidon alive is Meowscarda. The mobility is amazing, night slash crits will shred it. Anything else is just gonna get thrown around. People need to show this video to JBWESTSIDE.... lolz.
Some skill is pushing it. You cant be braindead but it's not really skill. You just need a conscience and ok decision making which is more than you can ask for

Blast pose and a master of the shifu Pokémon are good counters they can close the distance fast and kill you by hugging

BTW you can just hold the auto attack button instead of repetively pressing it
