    I love how Seth immediately acclimates to the situation and is thinking about how to deal with the threat at hand. It shows he’s completely practical, and won’t let his beliefs in reality hinder his survival from a supernatural threat.

      I remember a film with him as a escaped convict and Jennifer Lopez as some sorta cop. It didn't play to well but other than that I think this is the only film George Clooney got to play the antihero role and pull it off well.

Baptism if you're unbaptised, pennitance and contrition for one's sins...Plus some are mortal sins, like suicide, though in more modern times there's an exception for euthenasia by a doctor. That said though...I'm with The Thinking Atheist on this matter. Religion makes people say STUPID things.

    I love how Seth and Jacob don’t like each other, but are willing to put their differences aside to fight a common enemy. In this case, vampires. I also love Seth’s speech to Jacob about how he’s their best chance against the vamps, and how Jacob accepts that responsibility.
    Plus, there’s something funny about Jacob censoring himself.

    You have to love how much Harvey Keitel pulls back in this movie. We've seen him able to steal the show when Sam Jackson is in the room in Pulp Fiction, but here he pulls back and lets Clooney be that guy and gives him all the support he needs.

    I never really liked this movie but some of the performances just killed it. Not to mention this was the first movie most of us saw Salma Hayek in. Good lord that was an attractive woman in her prime.

    This was my first introduction to Clooney in anything. Pretty impressive front in the movie i thought back in the day.. memorable movie to me like Alien

    Seth Gecko and Ash Williams are the only main characters I know of who've never had the spotlight stolen from them by side characters.

    An iconic character for sure and one of many unlikely badass characters like the Frog Brothers (who are no doubt how the Gecko brothers got their name), Ash Williams, Jack Burton, Shaun and Ed. And also I remember hearing Clooney kept the hair-style and tattoo afterwards.

    Seems like Quentin Tarantino likes to reuse actors again in other movies, Harvey Keitel for example (the preacher), but he never used George Clooney again and I find that odd. Clooney kinda nailed this role, so either they had scheduling conflicts or maybe they didn't get along offscreen or something along those lines. 🤷‍♂️ Idk, just seems odd that he uses some actors so frequently but only uses some once.

    Tarantino took what should have been a B movie and turned it into something great. Which is what he does, when I think about it.
