Thank you very much , I had a problem with not heating my Beko Trembal dryer ., I built dryer with your instruction .and its done , working now .spend just 40£ for heating element . A similar idea should be kept. Thank you again.
GREAT TUTORIAL! For the past half a year I thought that my dryer was dead. However, I watch your tutorial, reset the button and it's good to go! Thanks
Hi Emily, thanks so much for your comment here. It's great to hear that you have fixed your tumble dryer yourself, and nice to know that our video helped you on your repair journey!
Hi Tom, thanks for your comment here. Glad our video has helped you to save money by not needing to buy a new dryer! Well done for completing the fix yourself.
Thanks Guvnor. All fitted and working. The repair guy I phoned said, oh the sensors gone. New sensor, board etc will be £150 plus labour, so not worth repairting. What a plonker he is. Fitted it myself thanks to this video.
Thank you for posting this video, saved me a nice few quid. Turned out that the trip switch needed resetting on mine. So a double bonus for me as I didn’t need a new heater.
This is great for the DCU series, but how about the DPU series? The heater is not conveniently located under the back panel. Indeed I have yet to find it! Do I have to take the drum out and open the white plastic boxes below that?
Hi, thanks so much for your comment here. It's great to hear that our video has really helped you, and saved you money. Well done for completing the repair.
Hi, thanks for your comment here, it's so good to hear that this video has helped you...well done for replacing the heater yourself to get your tumble dryer back up and running again!
Thank you for your video! My beko tumble dryer sounds normal, is spinning normally, but not heating. I removed the cover and pressed the reset button and heard a click, still no heat. Any tips on what to do next?! Thank you!
Hi Rachel, you will need to test the heater to confirm if it has failed and we have a video to help that shows how to test it ruclips.net/video/trJXdqNBn7M/видео.html&t let us know how you get on.
Hi Adam, thanks for your comments and a good spot. This video is one of our older ones, so it would be difficult to recall. We recommend wearing DIY gloves to protect your hands.
Super video, eSpares. If the reset button is immovable, stuck in what I assume is its "up" position, I presume the element then is beyond repair? You've put me on the right track - *many* thanks.
Hi Gareth, on the Beko model in the video if the thermostat can't be reset you would need to replace the element because it comes as one unit but check your model first as on some makes the thermostat can be replaced without the element saving you money.
Hi, my beko tumble dryer (Model: DCX71100W 7KG B) is blowing cold air. I have carried out the following: - Assesed the reset button to check if it had tripped but was unable to press. - confirmed current flow through both fuses - Cleaned all filters - Installed a new heater element Still bot working. Any idea what could be the issue?
hi watched this tutorial, finally sourced and bought heater from ebay, for my dtgc8011w beko condenser. now ive hit a snag, the electric connection is housed in a white block thats coming out of a sliver sleeve box, i cant figure out how to disconnected it . many thanks if you reply.
HI Sarah, the connections are held in by a screw and a snap fit connection, you need the top off and there is a screw on the back to release to get the wiring block out and that one is the snap fit one.
Hello, Mat. Thank you for sharing this helping info. I have the exact same model DCU6130 S. My Q is why do I have to change an entire heater element (which is not faulty) when I could only change both thermostats? For a way lower price.
Thanks for the feedback James, there can be two main causes of the cut out tripping. 1: If air flow is restricted from a blocked filter or condenser it can overheat so check these are clean. 2: Often users turn te dryer off when 'hot' and do not allow the machine to run through the 'cool down' part of the cycle. Do not allow the machine to be stopped mid cycle for more than a few seconds or it can cut out like this.
Hi joseph, how did you confirm the heater had failed? if the heater has been tested with a multimeter and it is OK, check the thermostats, meter the wiring from the board to the heater and let us know the model details if you need any more help.
Hi I did the test on mine on RUclips at the end the red light on Drying was on what does that mean?. It still runs for over 3hrs and does not stop??? Thanks
hi ther my beco tumle dryer keeps triping my electric i have looked at the heater and ther is moisure build up the buton doesnt reset so i ausume its safe to say its the heater if so could u put me on the right path to finde the correct replasment parts from your store best wishes the model of dryer is beko dcu8230 s/n12-219980-12 thanks flor you time
Thanks espares, I have got the same tumble dryer that you ve worked on in the video, I am wondering if it's possible to just change the thermostat and not the whole heating unit, and if you can, do you sell just the thermostat for this model. Also do you sell the complete set of screws for the back panel covering the heating unit as I have lost a few of my screws, thanks pal.
Hi Casley, the thermostats are riveted on the heater and are not available separately. For the screws fill in your information on this link and we should be able to supply them: www.espares.co.uk/contact/sales
Hi ljubomir, Program selector is set as delicates and while pressing the buzzer cancel button, turn on the dryer. After 3 seconds service test program starts and buzzer sounds. In this program, start/pause/cancel button is used to pass other steps. All LEDs blink.
Hi can you tell me if the on this dryer should have any resistance or how to test the heating element. this dryer is the same as one I am looking at but the dryer only seems to be heating up every once in a while sometimes it's running at 70 -80 °c sometimes it's running at 30-40°c and one time after take it apart and putting it back together it ran a few times at 90-95°c which I believe it should do. Most of the time it seems to be running at 70 ish it's the digital version of the one your fixing in this video. I tested the heating element and the thermostats that's resets let was reading short circuit and the other thermostat had some resistance.
Hi Peter. The heater on the dryer in the video has an overheat cut out and a resistive NTC thermister that monitors the air temperature to feedback to the control board. Your problem is likely in our opinion to be the sensor that is supplied with the new heater but it is possible to be due to the control board.
What resistance is on the thermistor on the heating element at room temperature please. Just helps me eliminate faults. The ntc on the front is reading just like a normal thermistor on the nearer showing room temperature on the my meters thermostat setting. The rear is showing like it's a capacitor rising in resistance as I measure it it settles out in ohms at 8k ohms which is about the same as the front one.
Manufacturers do not supply the specific resistances of NTC's. Depending on the meter and its range the current flowing through a NTC can warm the element changing the resistance so this may not be faulty.
The heater has the main thermostats on the assembly at the top. There is also a NTC sensor on this model at the front and the video showing replacement is here: ruclips.net/video/uzYNjjAi-eA/видео.html
eSpares thank you for the info. looks like it was the condenser unit being clogged up with gunk inside it on this occasion. so was taking an age to dry clothes according to the missus. but strangely enough. cleaning that out. my earache has stopped! thanks!!
Hi Connor, on some Beko models it will be serial dependant so you need your full model's details to get the correct part, contact the sales team who will find the correct part for your machine www.espares.co.uk/contact/sales
Hi ive a Beko DCU 7230B and the light inside the drum is flashing. Looked online and it seems to be a common issue but cant find a fix. Does anyone have any ideas is it a mainboard issue tho the dryer works perfectly. Thanks
Hi my beko dryer is not heating up and the red button keeps turning of and have to keep undoing it to reset it. Plus I had so many parts change for the dryer but still not working. Do you think it's worth getting it fix and buy a new heater for it. Thanks
Hi Tina, if the button keeps 'tripping' it is due to overheating. Check the filter and condenser is clear of debris as this may be your problem. Watch this other video before suspecting a problem with the heater: ruclips.net/video/pxZIetevnSo/видео.html
Also beko has a massive problem with the main PCB, that will also give a failure in heating, all other parts will work fine.... This is a problem that starts at the sensors but shows very little sign until it over heats the PCB.

Hello, if your tumble dryers are dead quickly is that there is a problem of common mode. This may simply be the fact that you do not clean the filter with each use. When the filter is clogged, the airflow over the resistance is lower and therefore warmer. This triggers the safety thermostat and makes it age longer. quickly resistance. Hi I have taken off the cover but can’t see any heated stuck on the back where else can it be ?
Thank you so much! Your tutorial fixed it with one screwdriver! Much appreciated 😁👍👍👍
So my dryer works normally except from time to time it makes a squeaky noise. Do you know what couod be the cause of this???

My Q is why do I have to change an entire heater element (which is not faulty) when I could only change both thermostats? For a way lower price.
The thermostats for your model are listed to be supplied with the heater element only and are pre-fitted onto the heater
If the heater has gone will it trip the main electric circuit board which is what is happening with my Beko. The reset button doesn’t click.
Thank you so much!! Just amazing! Fixed with literally a click!
Hi Wendy, it's great to hear that you have been able to fix your tumble dryer with help from our video! Thanks for your comment.
Thanks Matt love your channel saved me a fortune
Hi ray, thank you for your post and glad we helped save you a fortune that's made our Monday ☺
What if i press the reset button and it doesnt move? Is it just really stiff, or will it only press down if it clicks?
The model I have is the DSX83410W and I took the back panel off and can’t see any heater
Thanks, this worked a treat, restting the the red button got the heat back in my tumble.
