Mentality get win you big matches. Consistency and improvement good to see from Coco. Didn't feel Naomi played too well in terms of executing shots but Coco learned this match to not be overwhelmed on momentum shift and showed growth from their previous meeting 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💐

I watched both matches Serena and Coco. I couldn't help but think I see a passing of the torch. Seeing how far Coco has come in less than a year. Being ranked in the 600s to being ranked in the 60s and seemingly going up on a weekly basis. Being in tears at the US Open losing in straight sets to Osaka to a mere 4 months beating Osaka in straight sets today. Serena is still good and at times even great. I know that it is two different sports it reminds me of Tiger in his pursuit of Jack and Serena pursuit of 24. Do each have one more run in them absolutely. It just doesn't seem a done deal like it did at one time in each of their careers. As for Coco the sky is the limit keep being who you are. Can't wait to watch and see it unfold in the years to come.

She can easily pass for Venus' daughter. Their looks ,athleticism, gracefulness and mannerisms are uncannily similar. I remember when they both wore whites in a match last year. I personally saved that picture.
@@sasmelkev , very true. She could easily have been the greatest ever if she kicked on from 2000 and 2001 when she won 4 majors. She used to beat Serena every time they met until her dad made her pull out of the Indian Wells semifinals against Serena on account of injury then she could never beat her again. She was my personal crash when I was in High School in the year 2000 and used to follow her. Her designing career and the health condition she contracted distracted her a lot. If she had the same drive as Serena she would easily have been the best ever.

Congrats to Coco! She learned Naomi Osaka's game and was able to approach this with more confidence. Naomi, on the other hand, her game has definitely dropped a level, not just against Coco but in general. This was not a good game for Naomi. Honestly, she did best with Sascha Bajin.
ive watched tennis for over a decade now..
i think this girl is smart for her age...and very bright future..
but to me Williams sisters are more powerful and have greater athletism and have nicer body movement than her when they were young ..and turned pro at age 14 only..
and they went through a lot of stuff since they were a child including racism and gun shots and all that could affect there game ..but theyre still very tough against one of those greatest and successful players than players today.. battle s against players like Davenport, Clijsters,henin..etc..they fight and did many things for future black women players by using their game..
So Coco seems to be luck enough.. in receiveing a lot of help( including those last years wildcard ) in building her career...
And i wish she could win a gslam..and be no. 1..
