I really love the heavier Dissection influence on this album! Immeasurable Emptiness and Beyond the Frozen Meadows are great; my favorite from the album, so far.
Revise your opinion? Dude, go listen to Suhnopfer "Hic Regnant Borboni Manes" or Belenos "Kornog". Don't see how you could have a negative opinion of either of those dudes. Solid one man bands who write and record all instruments. Those albums have not left my rotation since I heard them. Technically, weren't Bach or Vivaldi or Paganini "one man bands"? haha

Es gibt sehr melodiöse, ruhigere Parts, dann kommt wieder eine Stelle, die mich an Goatwhore erinnert - schwarz, thrashig-düster, schnelle Parts und herrliche Melodien wechseln sich ab... Riffgewitter!!! Ich bin gerade wieder mal auf der Suche, um mir einen perfekten Soundtrack für die dunkle Jahreszeit zusammenzustellen. Und Marrow of Man steht auf dieser Liste ziemlich weit oben. Deshalb freut man sich natürlich ganz besonders, wenn man wieder mal eine Perle entdeckt hat. Und genau diese Perle habe ich gesucht und gefunden! @@MarrowofManBM Aw, that's sad. I get that it's hard to record on real drums, or even find a drummer, but it's always a let down when you find out the drums are all programmed. However, everything else about this sounds legit. I'm surprised I'm enjoying the album as much as I am. I'm super picky about black metal but this is a really good take on the more melodic side of black metal while still being plenty aggressive, and not sounding like a ripoff of Dissection. Good riffing and writing, my man!
