Youd be surprised. Theres non car guys who know more about working on cars and restoring them as opposed to us full blown petrol heads who at times forget how to use a wrench 😂. Congrats on the new Camera Sam! Looks amazing.
Love STG videos, not over produced, very genuine, not too much adds. The quality is always there, without being crazy never disappointed from the videos done, and honestly I don't understand why you don't have more followers. Keep going, you produce one of the best balanced car content.
Had no idea you were mates. I too have followed Steve for years! Would love for you to do an update on his new venture in a few months Loved the video mate.
No no no, they're so expensive to restore, I follow Johnny Lieberman (a car journalist working at MotorTrend) on Instagram and he's restoring his 914 (arguably one of the cheapest ways to enter the Porsche world) and it's taking forever and it's really expensive
I have been watching this series on RUclips - Its very encouraging! With the Landrover 90, just grab yourself an LRO magazine and the world is your oyster; there is so much choice on options and parts its like lego. If you can restore a Landrover at an affordable price they will be queuing round the block. There was someone recently lamenting the configuration of the new 90 for him, his partner and their dog, can't remember his name!🤣
Me: **peacefully watching a Nürburgring video on RUclips** RUclips Notification: REEEEEJSVSISVWKSGEKWH THE SEEN THROUGH GLASS UPLOADED A NEW VIDEOHWHSVWKSVSKSBS Me: Ah shit here we go again
Great car to work on, I have 4 of them and have owned one for 30years. Very easy to work on and maintain yourself. They will last forever if taken care of and super beautiful design. They won’t make them like this anymore!
Sam - great idea/content ! Restore and have some sweat equity along with full knowledge of your vehicle at 1/2 the price of a new one, which BTW in 5 years the new one will be worth 50% of that new price ... hmmm
Don't get me wrong I love a good Range Rover but when I test drove a 5-speed Rover V8 Discovery 1 I fell in love. Congrats to Steve and I think he made the right decision.
Great vid! BUT please when talking about a resto project include labour cost as well. Yes, you can separate it from the rest but most people will not be able do all of it without help from a pro. Including the cost will give a more realistic view of what it costs to restore a car. So you wont get the RR for less than 20k but closer to 40k!!!
Hi STG! Cool and different, kudos for your dedicated passion for filming and an awesome Range Rover project! How about a 'meeting up video' with SOUP Classic Motoring's Range Rover for an Ireland coastal shoot in the Summer. Love that RR resto project brings forth new and exciting developments for your friend, goes to show, 'you never know hey'!
Clearly, I picked the wrong profession. To spend a “Work Day”driving around loaner Land Rover’s and testing out LUMIX camera equipment is an epic work day.... Coming out of covid times, help a laid off photograph/car geek, become the next promoter/influencer like “Sam seen through glass” of North America! Hit me up #LandRoverUSA,#PanasonicNA, let’s partner up to show your products around North America! 📷🚙🏔📸 Sorry to throw this on your post Sam! But you totally inspired me this morning! Nice restore Steve!
I liked that body style Range Rover I wish there were more in the states or more in the area I live If he paid £4500 for the car and is at £13,000 for parts and didn’t say what the price of labor I’m going to guess at 8 weeks with at least 2 guys working on it if they both did 8 hours a day each for 8 weeks and being conservative with the hourly wage I’m guessing he’s £20,000-£35,000 for labor I’m not criticizing him by any means just thought it’d be fun to try and guess , hey if he’s got the money to restore one good for him pretty cool project and quite impressive taking that on having never done anything like that before
I had an AMG E55 which was a similar colour and I sold it after a friend referred to it as 'cum' white!...sorry Steve...you have re-created the same colour! :-D
Epic channel and awesome episode mate! Following! I'm currently rebuilding my Range Rover and nearing completion too! would love it if you checked out my channel!
Twiggy looks so chill with how you're holding her on the intro!
She’s always chill
@@seenthroughglass that’s amazing!
She's got that 'seen it all' vibe :D
a tip : you can watch movies on flixzone. I've been using them for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.
@Kamryn Louis Definitely, been using flixzone for since november myself :D
Youd be surprised. Theres non car guys who know more about working on cars and restoring them as opposed to us full blown petrol heads who at times forget how to use a wrench 😂. Congrats on the new Camera Sam! Looks amazing.
I know that better than most haha
Yes more people need to be restoring old gems like this before all of them are gone!
Been watching Steve since about 2014/2015, his videos on the restoration have been brilliant
I just watched an STG video featuring a Porsche that Sam didn't nerd out about. These are truly mad times lol
Now that’s a nice Camera 📷
It is indeed!
Followed you both for years now. What a weird inception of two RUclipsrs I had no idea knew about each other 😂

I still think you would rock one of these , especially a vintage voltage conversation
Had no idea you were mates. I too have followed Steve for years!
Would love for you to do an update on his new venture in a few months
Loved the video mate.
Brilliant story
Followed you both for so long and great to see you back together! Especially now Steve has his hand on the Defender 👌🏼
After this video Sam needs to find a Porsche that is in need of repair and get it back into good working order
No no no, they're so expensive to restore, I follow Johnny Lieberman (a car journalist working at MotorTrend) on Instagram and he's restoring his 914 (arguably one of the cheapest ways to enter the Porsche world) and it's taking forever and it's really expensive
Really enjoy these modern classics videos. Nice to see Twiggy again.

really enjoying the sam + steve combo. great vid!°

Steve Booker! A guy I used to watch on Ben Browns channel
Nice video Sam 👍. I wish I’d jumped on a Classic Range Rover a few years ago before they got so popular!
Dream team! True cars and coffee, now there's an idea! 🤔
Yes for the Steve! Been following you both for years now! LOVE to see this 👌🏼
The white is fantastic!
A 3 door version of the original Range Rover is just about the only SUV I’d consider. Especially with an EV conversion.
Great video as always!! And what an amazing car, now I am intrigued in doing the same...👀 the old boxy shapes, I love it!
Make sure to change the AC expansion valve to suit R134a refrigerant.
A great series to watch. Check out Steve’s channel
Watched this, and then watched Steve’s restoration vids. Class.
But... my mind boggles re labor $$$
😬💸💵💰🔥
man your videography is just so awesome! A lot to learn for my RUclips channel!
Great video, Steve could be onto to a winner there.
m4/3 to full frame, what an upgrade. enjoy the S5 Sam!
What to do with a perfectly rust free RRC in off white ?
I got two of them, but they need a little mechanical work...
I really wish Range Rovers and Defenders were cheap enough here in the states where I could do that. That would be my perfect side gig!
I love that fix up and rebuild content, I guess because I never done it before. Sam you ever think about doing it? fix n rebuild?
Sam - great idea/content ! Restore and have some sweat equity along with full knowledge of your vehicle at 1/2 the price of a new one, which BTW in 5 years the new one will be worth 50% of that new price ... hmmm
Thank for sharing these videos abc story’s from people sam 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 other car channels have a lot to learn for you
STEVE!!! Love that dude!!
Very nice to see new camera 📷 sam. In some awsome classic their
How about Sam and Tony buying a brand new Mclaren 2021. And restoring it into a working and reliable car, 1 of 1.
Super cool video Sam.
Don't get me wrong I love a good Range Rover but when I test drove a 5-speed Rover V8 Discovery 1 I fell in love. Congrats to Steve and I think he made the right decision.
What a legend
Best wishes from India 🇮🇳
Nice video Sam.
Thumbs up to your mask discipline. Probably one of the reasons UK is doing quite well compared to others.

Range Rover classics are excellent it will be worth a hell of a lot more than 4k after spending a hell of a lot more than 4k on it

Ayo Steve!! A legend
Sam! Plz take twiggy for a ride in the 360!
So are lockdown restrictions back in the UK now Sam? I was under the impression London re-opened for business April 17th?
No need to worry they look amazing in white 😎
Great video 👍😀
If I was rich I'd have so many classic cars with electric swaps, this is sick
Can you do a story on all those Kombie vans in the shed?

Sorry to throw this on your post Sam! But you totally inspired me this morning! Nice restore Steve!
Much more interesting content than: “test drive in 2021 Audi rs4”
❤️ from India
great videooo
Is the old GH5 being sold? ;))
I want a old Range Rover in yellow. If you know you know
I thought someone followed through at 10:59
Loved this keep us posted how the 90 gets on. Twiggy should in more video she is gorgeous
Hmmm I’m much more interested in the VW Bully in the background, just saying.....
👍
Restoring a rusty RR -- a daunting task!
Love how they think 13k excluding labour it cheap. was expecting him to say 6k max for a 3k respray and 3k for everything else
What if you restored a defender
👍👍👍
well I guess it won't be long till you restore a defender on this channel.
Dude let the dog down 😂
I liked that body style Range Rover I wish there were more in the states or more in the area I live

"We can leave him alone now." haha
Sure he is a non car guy?😂😂 Love the classic Range rover!
business is just rife for you guys
Now that's how you hold a terrier 😃 hi Twiggy, she is super cool. All the best RUclips stars have woofers.
What breed is Twiggy?
Jack Russell
@@seenthroughglass thanks sam
Living the dream of an old Range Rover - although the reality is a nightmare 😂
Is it just me or does Steve sound just like Mr JWW?
I had an AMG E55 which was a similar colour and I sold it after a friend referred to it as 'cum' white!...sorry Steve...you have re-created the same colour! :-D
He needs to resort Simba for Ben Brown
When your non car friend is way more car guy than you
Can you bring motorcycle content
Twiggy and Camera talk? hype
First glance, I was sure your "non-car" buddy was actually James.
Genuine question are you 25 or 42
Never even finished it…….
You could team up with TGE and his 912 and do your own classic Porsche
Epic channel and awesome episode mate! Following! I'm currently rebuilding my Range Rover and nearing completion too! would love it if you checked out my channel!
Cool project, but i am not watching any more video's of people wearing face masks. Done with that. With respect.
Please stop doing that pausing thing in the middle of sentences. That is all. Thank you.
You crash it it's just gonna fall apart what a waste of time 😃😂
Cannot watch anything with those muzzles sorry
