Regarding your demo showing +8 after two holes: I feel targeted. 😂
This is the best tutorial out there. I just got my V5 in December and I’m glad you released this. Thanks!

If you just want the watch for yardages of the holes and scorecard and hazards will it work without the things screwed into your clubs ? what about practice swings before you hit the ball will it record practice swings or just when you hit the ball ? awesome video thx cheers from Canada

Yeah, absolutely. You can just use the watch in GPS only mode. If you’re not interested in tracking, the G5 (I also have a review on this channel) might be an option although it doesn’t include the fancy maps etc.

very informative but how can i stop my watch face going dim after 2 seconds as i noticed yours stayed bright all the time

The backlight cannot be adjusted, nor can the brightness. Mine only seemed not to dim because I was constantly interacting with it. To be honest, I've never been concerned about this as it always seems to be bright enough for me on the golf course and presumably they've set the auto-dim to this time period to preserve the battery. I know that other users have asked Shot Scope for more control over the brightness/backlight, so it would be good to see them add this in future firmware updates or products.
