  • On this video will CNC engrave (Vcarve) a Christmas decor sign. This sign, which I'm calling The North Pole, was a graphic that was sent to me by a viewer. I usually don't do a lot of orders, however, this particular graphic stood out and really had that holiday season vibe. This project was done with a clearing toolpath using a 1/4" down cut endmill, followed by a a 1/2' 90 degree vbit. Airbrushing involved 3 colors making this project pop.

You could paint that background white using a foam roller. Just roll in paint, then roll out some of the paint on a waste board and roll very "flatly" across the sign with almost no pressure. Works great, I never use Oramask

I noticed that you told someone that you seal before painting, sometimes. Is that based on the wood you use? Also, do you find that the spray paints bleed less than brush application? Thanks and as always, great work!

That sighn is great. Where did you get the design from? Excited to see some laser videos that will be fun. I had a hard time learning a laser program, and after using vetric and coming back to the laser it made a lot more sense. Hope the shop build makes it into some videos too. Would love to see how it turned out. Thanks for all the videos

I loved this sign. (Where can I find a design like that?) Good luck on the move - it's a lot of work.

Brian this design and cut was beautiful! I'm new to woodworking so I'm still trying to figure out cut depths. What were the cut depths of the two bits you used? Thank you!

What type of airbrush paint are you using? I’m just starting to airbrush my signs. I have Createx transparent paint but it just doesn’t seem to cover that well. Or maybe I just need to layer it more.
