Once my mum thought the towels at the camp we were staying at for a month were so good in the last few days we were there she kept saying the towels went missing but she was putting them in a huge trash bag so they kept bringing more, by the end of the trip we had 2 huge bags of new FREE towels

Humour aside , there are things which we can take from a hotel before checking out as it is actually considered a part of our payment like : shower gels & essential oils , shower cap and other *small* things . I still remember the time , I got humiliated for doing this and after sometime I found out that these are actually amenities that we pay for !!! So , I hope U can use my advice without getting bullied 🙂
Once you opened one of these tiny bottles, they will throw them away anyway.
Of course you pay for them in the priice of the room wether yoiu use them or not. If are talking oike the minifridge where you are charged for missing items then leave them untouched. but if its in the oom rte take them with you.
Fun fact: instead of taking everything one by one take the whole hotel
