Jade, I really suck at negociating but as a teacher I discovered that whan I have to advocate for someone else (a student or a group of people) I am suddenly able to stand for what I believe and I turn into a creative person who finds alternatives. Maybe you could look into volunteer work or an internship which requires for you to stand up for what you believe and help other people... that way you might practice and get to know yourself better. After that you already have the skill, you just need to translate it to other situations.
So happy to hear about the podcast! I think it would be really cool to have the "studytubers" from early years as guests and see how their lifes changed (and also their views on productivity, education etc.).
Fun social suggestion for negotiation practice: the board game 'Debatable' - it's a really fun casual game to play with a couple of people where you have to debate a randomly presented topic using specifc strategies written on your cards - it all ranges from very serious to extremely silly which makes it very flexible to make into whatever you'd like best in the moment. It's lots of fun ☀️
A podcast about how the sense of identity affects us when living abroad would be nice. Thanks for your work, I love it when I find out you've post a new video, it makes my day !
Ahhh so excited for a Jade podcast!!! I would love to see you interviewing Ruby and just hear about how the both of you have grown since getting rejected by your dream uni!
Hi! I work at a lil tea shop / tea house. Make sure to add only a little bit of matcha, like half a teaspoon for a regular mug. We usually added cinnamon and brown sugar too! It IS bitter, but over time you get used to it. I don´t add any sweeteners to mine nowadays.
I think thats a great advice that would be meaningful to so many people, especially those working in/from social media platforms eand everything else that hasnt really got those typical set 9-5 office hours.
Omg yes!! The second you said that your first podcast episode might be about imposter syndrome my first impulse was encouraging you to talk about it. We all have it. All of us artists, content creators and life‘s students.
Podcast/Video idea: you mentioned your mental health a few times. Would you like to talk about how you cope with sadness and still slay uni? From outside it looks like you sometimes have bad phases but still get incredible work done. I'd love to hear some tricks:)🌻🦋
Jade! I would ABSOLUTELY listen to your podcast!! Please do not deprive us of thiss. If you have self doubt or are nervous we don’t mind at all, any content from you is amazing.
Hi Jade, I am from India. I have been following you for the last 2 years and honestly your videos just make me feel happy and your positive energy is just contagious. Thanks for shining bright and inspiring students all around the world to keep learning. Love!!!
I would love topics around education as i study educational science! :) Maybe you could also interview people who already work in that field. i am excited! You will do great
So excited for your podcast! A topic I'd love you to cover would be how you deal with the uncertainty you face as a teenager/young adult trying to figure out what you want to do in life (job, uni, etc), and also how to be at peace with all the changes you go through at this phase in life. Keep up the great work!
Love this kind of content from you Jade! Watching your videos always inspires me to look at what else I can get out of life, like signing up for graduate skills masterclasses at my university and looking into the language courses they offer. You are doing an amazing job postgraduation x
hey jade! it's a bit late so you might not see this, but it would be really cool if you made a video (or maybe a eventually a podcast episode 👀) about EdTech, like an introduction into the topics, problems that startups might be trying to solve, and so on!
I am so excited for your podcast!! I love listening to you talk, even your rambles. You share so many interesting ideas and thoughts. You just being you for this podcast would be amazing. Just be yourself and share your thoughts! We want to hear you and listen. This is a great opportunity to explore new pieces of yourself through vulnerability and new topics. Im so excited for this journey for you!!
Hi Jade! I just want to say that I love your youtube channel. You are so positive, inspiring person and I really like watching your videos. I can't wait for the podcast! Here are some topics that I would found interesting: procrastination, fear of social interactions, ideas for gap year, self-love
I don’t think you should limit your podcast to uk based guests, nor do they all have to be experts in a certain field! I would actually really enjoy some episodes where u discuss general human life concepts (being a foreigner in another country, mid life crisis, adulthood expectations, romantic relationships, friendship, family values, education, death…) with some of your uni friends from other countries or any family member that inspires you. I find that getting perspectives from different cultures/generations, would be very interesting to listen to! Hope this helps, love listening to your sit down videos, so very very excited about the podcast happening. Wishing u the best of luck! (Also you may wanna try matcha with some vegan milk option, they are sweeter, i like oat milk best!)
Your genuine happiness and joy about the nature and the sky in the beginning made me so happy! I'm so much like you in the sense that I love seeing the beauty and magic in every day things and I absolutely love other people like that too, your positivity and happiness is so contagious!🥺🥰
you are like sunshine and a summer salty wind from the sea. I can see the beauty and straightness that you see in the world in you. have a wonderful and meaningful day and year
Re the matcha: I find that it is one of those things where the quantity used can massively change the taste (like strong/weak black tea or vegemite). This is especially true with the "better quality" matcha powder. If you are finding it too bitter, I would perhaps try making it with less power. Another factor is the temperature of the water - like with green teas, using water that is hot-not-boiling (80-ish degrees) can reduce bitterness. You could also try using a different milk (like oat instead of almond, or maybe soy). If that doesn't help & you are really just looking to add sweetness, adding honey could be worth a try. Also, different powders from different places can taste different. This is all just my experience. Like most self-prepared beverages, the way to figure out which adjustments work best for what you're after is simply to experiment with different quantities & combos : )
Ex barista here and I loved making matcha! I’d recommend some flavor for sure - honey, vanilla, brown sugar, lavender… Strawberry matcha was something I used to love to make. For at home I bet you could put a fresh blended strawberry purée and that would be delicious 😍
for the matcha - use less than you think you need (i use about 3/4 of a teaspoon), mix it in a bit of cold water first so you don't burn it when you add the hot water (should be brewed at about 80 degrees i believe), and a bit of honey adds a lovely sweetness :)
@@UnJadedJade Yes, the sweeter/milder you like it, the colder water you use... you can go below 80C if it suits you, anything goes really. I second that using cold water and then adding hot is the easiest way, otherwise you "should" cool down the water before adding to matcha. I'd add that this "bit" of cold water is not like a few drops, you can safely start with 1/4-1/3 of cold water ratio to notice the difference in taste. The kind of matcha also is a dealbreaker in terms of taste, some just are bitter, others are milky sweet. Supermarket "culinary" matcha will be bitter without fail, as bougie as it souds one cannot argue the facts ;)
writing and creating creative habits would be a dream episode!! I would love to see you interview an english writer like neil gaiman :0 other ideas: eldest daughter syndrome with a therapist/fellow eldest daughter? your favorite self help book recos how to build up studying stamina
Hello Jade!! You already know you have a massive support from us, like, a lot!! 🥹🥹 a theme I would absolutely enjoy and appreciate hearing from you in the podcast is how you found courage, motivation and determination to study abroad for 4 years and leave your family and loved ones behind. This is something really personal because I’m applying for a university abroad and this fear is following me wherever I go. You are the one I’m most looking forward to hear about your experience ⭐️ Wishing you a good Sunday ❤️
Hi Jade ,i love the fact that you are so good with speaking ur mind when it comes to education ( giving study techniques , ur journey ) it would be so nice if you could speak on it in depth on the podcast 🙂
I have been enjoying your videos for a long time now. I would love to listen to an episode of the podcast on how you manage to overcome your fears to step out of your comfort zone :) Its something I struggle with which I'm trying to push past this year, especially in the social sense of putting yourself out there to new already established groups 💕💕
Matcha wizard here! 🍵 Try using hot, but not boiling water and less of the Matcha powder. That can help make the bitter taste more pleasant and mild. If you want your matcha latte a bit more sweet, try agave syrup or sweetened soy milk :) OH! And I LOVE the idea of a podcast. You should definitely invite Nayna Florence, she has a podcast herself and studies in London at the moment! love to u from Berlin
Can't wait for your podcast ✨️ And to answer your questions YES you are qualified to interview guests and YES there are many people who want to hear you speaking for hours (just check the comment section lol). Keep uploading amazing videos and inspiring all of us. ✨️ Sending you love ✨️❤️
dear jade, thank you so so so much for what you're doing. your every video inspires me a lot, gives me tons of energy and motivation to keep going, and simply enhances my mood. i was feeling a bit down today but after watching your video, i felt significantly better and more relieved, i can say. now i have the strength to do smth i have to. and you've reminded me that rest is also productive, so i'm gonna get my google calendar now and add the "relaxation time" and not feel guilty about it! i love you so much aww🥺💗
I love that you’re learning about negotiating - I think self advocacy & conflict management are two things I definitely shy away from due to fear and lack of confidence. I will definitely be checking out that book…it’s a bit of a different approach but to anyone reading this I would also recommend ‘The Art of Gathering: How We Meet and Why It Matters’ by Priya Parker because it talks about how firmness and boldness can actually be a kindness to others as well and I think the concept sorta ties in to what Jade was saying :)
I have training in negotiation as a mediator as a paralegal, the best ways to learn is practise, best is practising with another person, can be as simple as negotiating the best price for selling/ buying at item, for a challenge both sides should have one thing that they would want to hide because it might weaken their position. There are tons of templates and mock scenarios that you can find online. BATNA & WATNA are things you want to focus on ❤ loved the video super interesting about adult learning
Love the idea of your podcast! Maybe you could do some podcasts where it's just you and you do q&a style on a specific topic! I think I'm not the only one who would really enjoy to hear your ramblings and thoughts and ideas on my daily commute :)
Wooow, Jade, thank You!!🌸✨ I am really curious about Your idea to make a podcast about imposter syndrome!! You should make podcast also about overcoming insecurities, becoming adult, or difficulties and both beauties about living alone!!
i would love to hear you talk about all the topics that YOU are interested in because i think that you do the best content when it's a topic that your passionate about! and i would be interested in podcast guest's such as ruby granger, jack edwards or ali abdaal. again in general people that you find interesting and maybe where you have a common interest or friends of yours (minerva friends who tell us more about what they are doing now etc.) hope you found that in some kind helpful
i’d love a podcast of the uk study tubers reflecting on their educational experiences - you’ve all been such huge parts of the uk study tube and i know you’re all moving forward with content but looking back and reflecting would be cool or something similar (mainly thinking about lydia, jack, eve etc.)
Wow what a full day! But varied and using different types of focus, we love balance :) Can't wait for a podcast! For me at least I know I'd love a careers 101 episode, I know you're early in your journey but it'd be great to hear what you've learned from your time on YT and after graduation, and have a role model of yours on as a guest! Big love x
Yes Jade!! I am so so so excited for the podcast! I think you already know the best topics to talk about- we love whatever you've been creating so far and we will continue to. But some specific things I'd love to hear you talk about is achieving and working towards goals from a place of centeredness and safety (instead of anxiety and expectations), well-being and esp the body in it (ig how exercise, nutrition etc impscts us and how our bodies reflect or mental state and our needs and patterns etc) i find it very interesting and id love to learn more. Also something like feeling stuck in the personal journey and feeling like nothings working and youre going in circles even if you want to move forward is something ive been struggling with and I'd love someone to talk abouf that (hoping im not the only one)!
Turned out to be quite long haha but I hope some of this resonates with you. But I'd listen to whatever you're creating and I have so much faith in you to create a truly meaningful and lifechanging project for so many people💌✨️
Heyy, Jade. I'm like you now finding myself in-between finishing uni and looking for my first "big" job. So, for the podcast would be really exciting to hear about stuff like: networking, finding the right career path, where to look for job opportunities and what to do if you are lost(like many of us are hehe).
Hi Jade, I‘d love to hear you talk about education and the education system on your podcast. Maybe with a guest who works in that field. That would be very interesting! Wishing you all the best
Okay a challenge Ms Jade.... For your next video convince us, your core audience, why we should take time out of our week to listen to another Podcast? And what will be different about your Podcast and what do you bring to the Microphone that no other Podcaster does? That will help your confidence a lot and especially your Nego. skills.
This sounds so random, but how fun would it be to have a guest that makes tea. and talk about tea. idk, it could be so wholesome and chill... and maybe you can lean a bit more about brewing tea?!
Hi Jade! I feel like if we met in real life we would be friends. I love in early to everything you stand for. Even things that I’ve never found myself interested in, hearing you talk about them is so inspiring and thought-provoking. I love this video. Just a simple day in the life. I love the shots of making your Matcha, being outdoors, just chatting about your interest. Very comforting and peaceful. Looking forward to your podcast :)
I’m watching your videos recently more again and I don’t know why I stopped. You’re so inspiring in so many different ways! And I’m really excited to hear your podcast when it comes out! And if you’d like to have international guests an idea could be to have a video call with them and record that. An idea for it I’d love to see is about ‘finding yourself’ :)
So inspirational! Thank you, Jade. Excited for the first episode of your episode - I'm sure it will be great. A topic suggestion: Making friendships post-university. 🦋
Hi Jade😊 When it comes to learning negotiation tactics I would highly recommend RPG (not computer games😅), LARP or m*rder mystery games with the negotiation theme. Basically, you play charactet that has certain goals and you should try to achieve them. The trick is, you should try to stay in character while doing that. If you play a serious businesswoman, you can be quite ruthless and direct. If you play someone young and without lots of influence, you should be more sneaky. I think this is a great way to practice negotiation without the pressure of doing it in a real-life setting. I actually used it during job interview: nobody has to know that I am actually terrified, because right now I am a "smart and self-confident, straight out of uni girl who is perfect for this particular internship"😂😂.
Been watching your videos to the point that I'm developing a British accent and I love it. Thank you! I know that's not the purpose of your videos, but yeah, thank you. And I love this video!❤
Sosososo excited for the podcast 💕💖 When I watch your videos I always get so inspired to start the things that I want to try, as you do sooo many cool and random things, always learning and getting into new projects, it's so amazing ✨ So in the podcast you could talk to people like me who have this ton of things that some day we want to try or do, but we never start. Like I just find it so hard to actually start new hobbies, or new projects even if I've been thinking about them for years. Sometimes I will document on somenthing or look for inspiration, or make a plan but never actually start. I'm also a perfectionist, so I suppose that also affects ☺ It would be so helpful to know how you seem to just start on everything you are interested on and it's so inspiring! And love love love this video 🪴💖
Regarding podcast topics: mindfulness/meditation/silent walks etc. I absolutely loved your Vipassana video and you proved you can absolutely hold my interest for an hour about that topic.
I would love to see Mikaela Loach and Ruby Granger as your guests, but also just your friends from uni plsssssss a new season of wooden spoon would be so cool!!!
Yes! Putting a little honey in the matcha will make it less bitter. Also, make sure you aren't putting too much matcha powder in. A little goes a long way! **May depend on the strength of the matcha too.
I would 100% listen to your podcast! You asked who would listen to you, I think everyone here would. We love this community, we love you and your age doesn't mean we don't have anything to learn from you. Thanks to you, I got a better relationship with my studies and was able to enter my dream university. I started new year reflection and implementing healthy goals for myself. I can't explain how much you helped me so yes, I would 100% listen to your podcasts 🫶
Hi Jade!! Would love you to do a video about using your spare time, like keeping social media use low, reading lots, etc. I could really do with some motivational advice and something to compare with! Could even be a podcast idea? A Notion Tour Pt 2 would also be sick video!! Just some thoughts... Great video today as always (:
Such an amazing, inspiring video jade! Thank you! It was the perfect way to start into my morning.😊 A big goal for your podcast could be to interview grace beverly.😊
Hello, Jade.❤ I don't know if you'll get to see my comment but I really appreciate your work and effort.❤️❤️ I can't wait for THE first episode of the podcast.❤️❤️❤️ Speaking of your course in SkillShare. I've started it today and it was so fun, fruitful, and inspiring for me to learn how to learn. 😂 I haven't finished it yet but I'll finish it tomorrow morning. I love you so much Jade. Thank you so much for everything.❤️
Thank you so much for all the videos! We feel your autenticity, excitement for eveything you are doing and the love for your online comunity! Love u, Jade🥰❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗
Jade, you are such a constant inspiration for me and I'm beyond excited for your podcast!! 🤩❤️ I'd really love to hear your thoughts on how to go through big changes and on fear of change, I think that could be an interesting topic for an episode 👀 Take care
omggg i love the idea for the first episode, I think the topic of people pleasing would be a great topic, also I loved the part of the video skills you should learn where you talked about how we are taught what they want us to know, maybe you should make an episode about that, and how people can actually learn beyond what's meant for them to learn.
Jade, I really suck at negociating but as a teacher I discovered that whan I have to advocate for someone else (a student or a group of people) I am suddenly able to stand for what I believe and I turn into a creative person who finds alternatives. This sounds so fun, I just noted it down!! Thank you 🤍
Been following you since your A-levels. You have been a real inspiration throughout my journey! This is Mira from Libya
ah wow thank you for being with me such a long time 🥹🌷 sending love to you in libya!! x

Casual magic for today is Jade's new video 💕✨
hehe i'm hONOURED ✨
This just inspired me to go on a run myself and soak up some sunshine, so thank you! I'd love to see a podcast episode with Jack Edwards :)

The topics i would like to see on your podcast is the struggle to find your dreams and goals in uni and to be less burned out from all the uni work
Jade! I would ABSOLUTELY listen to your podcast!! Please do not deprive us of thiss. If you have self doubt or are nervous we don’t mind at all, any content from you is amazing.

i would love to hear you talk about all the topics that YOU are interested in because i think that you do the best content when it's a topic that your passionate about! and i would be interested in podcast guest's such as ruby granger, jack edwards or ali abdaal. again in general people that you find interesting and maybe where you have a common interest or friends of yours (minerva friends who tell us more about what they are doing now etc.) hope you found that in some kind helpful
I completely agree - this girl has a vibe and an enthusiasm that is so contagious! It makes me happy to see what makes her happy🫶
Casual magic 💫 seeing that there is life after graduation makes me less anxious and more excited 💖
Love to hear about digital wellbeing and screen time in your podcast..a guest like your best friend would be the best ❤️🔥
i’d love a podcast of the uk study tubers reflecting on their educational experiences - you’ve all been such huge parts of the uk study tube and i know you’re all moving forward with content but looking back and reflecting would be cool or something similar (mainly thinking about lydia, jack, eve etc.)
Wow what a full day! But varied and using different types of focus, we love balance :)
Can't wait for a podcast!
It’s the ✨Dutch national anthem ✨for me
Hi Jade, I‘d love to hear you talk about education and the education system on your podcast.
That will help your confidence a lot and especially your Nego. skills.
Jade, I am so glad that you enjoyed your German class so much. Do you do any quizzes, tests, and assignments ?
I LOVE YOU JADE!!!! you have always inspired meeee
Looking forward to your podcast :)
omg i would love to see you and eve cornwell in a full conversation about career paths and changes in life
Support that!👌🥇
Jade i would happily listen to thousands of hours of you rambling on, all day long 🩷
Also I think Vee Kativhu would be amazing to interview!
Jade you're an absolute sunshine💕
And love love love this video 🪴💖
make today a day your future self would be proud of x
Hi Jade- with your matcha make sure you whisk in a “M” motion rather than a circle so you get a nice creamy frothy mixture 💕
Regarding podcast topics: mindfulness/meditation/silent walks etc. I absolutely loved your Vipassana video and you proved you can absolutely hold my interest for an hour about that topic.
I agree. That video was just beauty on camera 🤩
Oh, it would be so awesome to have Malala and Vee in one of your episodes! Can't wait for the podcast! YOU'RE MAGIC, JADE!
I'm having a very rough week jade, but this video brought so much positivity, I'm so grateful for having you 🤍🦋✨
I would love to see Mikaela Loach and Ruby Granger as your guests, but also just your friends from uni plsssssss
a new season of wooden spoon would be so cool!!!
So happy to see you take steps to tick off your goals. It is truly inspiring💓💓
ahhhh can't wait for your podcast! i'd love to see Ali Abdaal as one of your guests, good luck!!!
Yes! Putting a little honey in the matcha will make it less bitter. Also, make sure you aren't putting too much matcha powder in. A little goes a long way! **May depend on the strength of the matcha too.
Hello Jade!! First of all I am living for the the 2024 content and this new eraaa, so great
We wanna hear yr podcast for sureeee I am sooo happy that you are starting oneee can't wait
I'm really looking forward to your podcast!! Subjects such as setting boundaries, saying no, being assertive etc. would be very interesting.

Thank you for sharing! This video brought me a brighter mood today and lots of inspo for ideas about completing my goals!
I feel like you would have a great convo with Taz about finding yourself and navigating your twenties❤
Oh yeah Taz would be a great guest! xx
isnt taz 30?
@@AlwynRainMystic maybe, but if so, i think she might know a few things about her 20's.😀 it could be an interesting talk, her being a few years older
I would absolutely love to hear Ruby or Vee on the pod! But Im sure thats a no brainer :Dd
Thank you! It was the perfect way to start into my morning.😊
A big goal for your podcast could be to interview grace beverly.😊
Would love to hear podcast episodes with Hannah Witton, Jack Edwards, Lucy Moon!
Hi, Jade! I'm looking forward to hearing your podcast. It's a great idea, I love listening to your voice. It really has a soothing effect on me!❤
Hello, Jade.❤
I don't know if you'll get to see my comment but I really appreciate your work and effort.❤️❤️ I can't wait for THE first episode of the podcast.❤️❤️❤️
Speaking of your course in SkillShare. I've started it today and it was so fun, fruitful, and inspiring for me to learn how to learn. 😂
I haven't finished it yet but I'll finish it tomorrow morning.
