Outstanding spot. That place needs about a million dollars worth of updating. I wish I had the money to do it. What a compound! I would never want to leave!!!
I was thinking exactly the same thing it's ugly the damage and everything but for 1.4 million to put in another million ridiculous. Greed and excess at its worse
pretty cool place and seems like a great value. I cringe at the likely utility bills. This must have been a commercial property. I'd guess they couldn't make it work. sad. It's a tough sell for a single family residence though, maybe would be good for a corporate owned retreat type property. The garage needs to be made into a caretaker residence. I bet that was the plan at one point. Indoor pools are a building science nightmare.
There's a lot of potential...but as you said, it needs a lot of work. One thing that has me scratching my head is that the design reminds me of a small retreat/resort where a group would go for a week or two, but not live there. I'm surprised there's no servant's quarters.
Sooooo they’ve already had pipes break and MOLD already growing 😂😂 Ummmmm and for only over 1m with all that work needed I’ll maybe say worth 1/2 the price
Insanely huge and god awfully designed. Mold, the horrible driveway/parking area, in need of so many updates and to get rid of a lot of the random tiling… just too much to do.
I wish realstate agents would stop sugar coating the obvious and give the facts.. All anyone has to do is go to Hancock County . Its not a deep pond. One small spot only. Its not private. My Neighbor and I are less than a 100 yards and Were stuck looking at it and visa versa. I own frontage to this house so they have to pass My house in and out. Its landlocked because they sold the 160 acres. Ponds Not 100 feet deep its in law book and the State of Maine iwns this pond and game warden watch it. Those parties were bad.
@@timjk32 it would tell You James Storey overdosed and died in bedroom upstairs from pool. Alot of shady things took place in that place. Theres a Stare Trooper that lives two houses up that can attest to it.
It's very dated it looks very 1985. Needs a new roof definitely needs aesthetic upgrades inside and it's just too much. Also not very well thought out.
It's going to take a special kind of buyer for that . I can't really see anyone wanting to live in it but it could be maybe bought by some large corporation as a tax right off or something .
The people at Maine Wire have contact information for the Chinese pot growers. This place has everything they need and I doubt they’d be terribly concerned with the repairs. Good luck!

looks like a home depot house... great location...
My friend and i were hysterical watching this. The topper was the exterior garage lantern hanging off the wall. Thanks for the laughs.😂
Could end up being a tear down

I thought same
It should be .
House has no soul
No warmth
Very industrial
sorry.. that is one monster...badly designed
I hope this property isn't sold, and that it is available WHEN MY INHIERITENCE COMES IN.

@@tammyowens1189 amazing! I've never seen urinals in a personal residence before. Many others features in this property look commercial as well.

Thats the only thing it has going for it.
From the four bedroom suites, it looks like an AirB&B type use. A mention of the potential revenue might help.
@@Erin-Thor it was shut down on conplaints of faulty electric outlets to bad railing and list went on.
An absolutely gaudy house... I would NEVER feel and be comfortable in that big white elephant.......
That home wasn't designed to be a single family home . They must have had something else in mind when they started it .

My grandfathers home in Nevada had an inside pool too. You would be AMAZED at the cost to heat it in cold seasons.
