I've heard you say you dnt hunt public land in Michigan but if you wanted to try a spot and happen to be in the area, Barry County State Game Area is a nice place to try. I've seen monster bucks out there and it's a decent amount of land to hunt. Just an idea.

Because running and gunning you need the binos tight and concealed. But tree stand hunting it does'nt matter.
