      Thank you very much I trained hard like 3 times a day (until the limit) during almost 5 years to achieve this Record which is the oldest one in Freediving 😀 You can translate my tutorials with RUclips subtitles translation generator ! Keep in touch 😉

    Stephane, incredible record. How tall are you? Is your torso size average? Did you do something (practice; swim a lot) to acquire your large lung volume growing up? Or is it a genetic trait?

    Why are you packing beside this box and not in front of the judges like normal? Was there a hidden oxygen bottle? 11:30min in your parents swimmingpool and never over 9min in a oficial competition? Who believes that?

    •  2 года назад +9

      Sir, I forbid you to question my World Record when there were more than 50 athletes, judges and AIDA officials around the pool with media from all over the world who all know the rules and the prohibition to breathe the O2 before a world record... I have never cheated in my whole life and I have always had a doping-free lifestyle, I train a lot and often more than the average of other athletes and freedivers and this every day including today at 50 years old. Look at my Facebook or Instagram in live session every week ! I am still at 8/min+ of static apnea. If you want to see what competition gives me by being in a big pool watch this video : ruclips.net/video/zZQ4gMEZi4Q/видео.html. I am a great competitor who loves confrontation and I might have done more than 11min35 if there had been opponents in front of me 😉 stop grumbling alone behind your keyboard without knowing me or the conditions of my record... Come and do a workshop with me so that I can prove to you the opposite of your thoughts, I invite you whenever you want !

      With several AIDA judges?You're crazy, you're talking shit, how could you hide an oxygen tank in front of the world's TV channels and in front of the judges?? Another moron who believes in conspiracy theories...

      How can we accuse a Champion like Stéphane MIFSUD, the first man to exceed 10 minutes in static apnea and holder of 8 World Records in all freediving disciplines? This is gratuitous, mean and serious criticism, and above all, it is unfounded... Pitiful... How can you say that there was cheating when there were all the federal AIDA authorities to validate this record, including international freedivers around the pool? Go back to your bathtub

      @ I'm sorry for his ignorance! You're such a great extraordinary guy for breaking this record, and your legacy will rule forever! I want to hold my breath for 5 minutes in order to swim at a competitive level, i hope I'll do it, and this video inspired me even more!

  • @farrankhawaja9856
    @farrankhawaja9856 Год назад

    I have a question. When you are holding your breath, do your lungs convulse? I can hold it for a bout 2 and a half minutes and I always stop because of the violent and painful convulsions, but I couldn’t see your body jerking or even moving at all in the footage.

    •  Год назад

      Yes it's kind of normal but you need to learn Freediving before doing your own exercice without any knowledge ^^
