I loved your video, I am a slingshot shooter and have for over sixty years. I hope to make the East coast sling shot match in Pa. this year and do hope to meet some new friends in this sport. Thank you for this video! Jack
I absolutely agree. Responsibility is a must for any slinger. Where I live, anything that shoots gets a lot of scrutiny. People simply don't like the idea that anyone else could be a threat at range. I used to smash cans in my yard every day. I have new neighbors who are sensitive to such things. I'm not happy about it, but I only shoot at a catch box indoors because of them. If I need to test my long range, I go for a long walk and choose targets that validate my goals and don't hurt anyone else. We are a small community and every one of us has an impact on the community as a whole. Think hard before you let fly. Have a great day all 👍
I get well over 500 shots per band set with snipersling .5. It all has to do with tying. Everyone ties different and at different tightness as well as different stretch %. That's why some materials work for some ppl and don't for others.
Thank you so much for the feedback, I can’t thank all the guests enough for taking their time to do this for us, thanks for your support, it goes a long way 👍🏻
That was an awesome interview!! 1st time I've watched "The Sling Den" and I really enjoyed it. Can Vandal is a great guy!! Gonna go watch episode 1-3 now. Thanks!!
Can Vandal is awesome! Love all his videos. I’m new to the sport (3months) and got to go to the ECST last week. Both of you give great advice! I started out with the Scout X. I shot the Scout X using the .5 SimpleShot black. About a month before the tournament I bought a Prime Fork slingshot and sniper sling .5 latex. I got to where I was hitting targets consistently with the Scout. I did OK with the Prime Fork and decided to use it in the tournament. When I got to the tournament I bought a couple more slingshots. Going against all the good advice that I have heard I ended up using 3 different slings for the tournament. I ended up 28th overall. I believe if I would have stuck with the Scout X I would have done better. That’s the slingshot I was better with. After I returned home I pulled the Scout X out of my bag and will not shoot another slingshot for at least 2 months. To make a long story shorter I’m going back the the basics.
As ever a top quality interview 😁 And I agree with Mr Can Vandel going to a meet/shoot is absolute quality meeting like minded people face to face can't be beaten. I've also given frames away to family and friends to try and encourage them into the sport.
Love watching the Tater King, hated the shameless simple shot plugs but now after this show I understand. I think I just resent simpleshot for not having a decent stockist over here in the uk. I got a scout LT and paid as much for the shipping as the frame. Still a joy to watch Vandal in action and this interview was fantastic. Thanks guys
What I will say is I always did wonder why the love for Simpleshot, I asked him prior to the show if he would be cool talking about it and he was an open book, he’s just a guy that has a real passion for them and its 100% genuine, and I will always give a honest opinion of a frame and at the moment just love the scout X, you’re 100% hammer on Nail with the U.K. poor stock though, I think Simpleshot are missing a huge market here in the U.K. and it would only take a reseller to get a good few in stock to get them around the country.
Thanks man! I’d really love too but the monthly cost for a feed was not worth it for the amount of listens they were getting, maybe one day, get your work to install WiFi hahaha but yeah man I wish I could have it available everywhere
@thomas.bill92 sorry for the late reply, it isn’t Spotify a podcast needs a RSS feed which is used to submit your podcast to platforms like Spotify it’s the feed that can be costly it was around £18 a month, I pay around £25 a month for my editing software and streamyard and I feel I get value from that but as for the feed and podcasts unfortunately not enough to be worth the cost 👎🏻

My life’s new mission…. Make it on the Benji Sling Den show. Slingshots wooo!
I’m happy to make that happen, I have guests lined up but we can discuss that for the future 🎯👍🏻
@@theslingden helllsss yeah!!! Sweet man let me know anytime, we’ll make a fun episode I think viewers would enjoy.

Pro shot catapults stock some of their frames 👍🏻👍🏻
@l.a.w_naturals that's the problem, it's only some
Love the podcast man, any chance you will be putting them on Spotify again? RUclips eats up my data and battery at work 😬😬😬
Thanks man! I’d really love too but the monthly cost for a feed was not worth it for the amount of listens they were getting, maybe one day, get your work to install WiFi hahaha but yeah man I wish I could have it available everywhere
Oh gotcha! I hadn't considered that Spotify would charge so much to post on their platform.
