It's honestly super heartening to see someone who has played Stardew for a long while, multiple saves, yet STILL struggles with things like fishing and the monsters and the mines 🤣
for the flower cookie recipe you can find the flowers at the summit (which is accessible through a quest from clint), once up there you can find the flowers but it depends on the season. the ferngil primrose is in spring, goldenrod is summer and fall, and then the winter star rose is winter. you can also find seasonal foragbles up there and the thistle which is a year-round flower (all 4 flowers are also really easy-ish gifts to get)
I thought Leo was so easy to gift, he loves Duck feathers which are iridium qualityif you have the last foraging perk and he also loves Poi, which is made with Taro tuvers which grow really fast and you can irrigate and forget about.

The summit-only forage has a bad habit of spawning behind pieces of scenery that don't turn transparent when you're behind them. You may have to do an extra thorough search on the days you go. Honestly, I found it worth installing some version of the Deluxe Autograbber mod that collects forage just for this. Somehow wandering to one tiny map at the end of the world to find nothing feels like more of a ripoff than searching every town map for a crocus and not finding one. Pretty sure SVE adds these items to the full shipment part of perfection too.

I would honestly buy the extra land ASAP, because, while you can't plant on it, you can use said land to put down any type of buildings you want. I'm using mine to expand my wine and pickle empire. I've got two Big Sheds full of Kegs and two full of Preserve Jars. I use my giant field to plant whatever Fruit and Vegetable crops are most profitable and turn them all into Wine (Fruit) and Pickles (Vegetables). I turn a nice profit every week or so. A lot of the Wine, too, goes into the Casks I have in my basement and lower area of Grandpa's Shed (Which does work just like the basement), so I get even more profit.
