I like that, "Stork Marks". I don't know if it's an American thing but in my family we called them Strawberry Birthmarks. My daughter also had them on her face but they faded away.
PamIam04 we also have something we refer to as strawberry birthmarks but usually they are actual birthmarks that don’t fade but are red in colour... does that make sense haha 😂 I don’t know how stork marks come about but they seems to be very common and definitely don’t last more than a few weeks/months.

Love his name!!! 3 names is good. My Son has 3. We rarely have to say or write our full names - mostly on Government papers. Going to school etc.., they tend to ask "What is the preferred name/ what name do you want to use regularly?" Go for it. They sound Beautiful together, with your last name too. He has a beautiful french first name it would be awesome to have the 3 names. The marks on his face will fade. My best friends daughter had the same thing and they went away by time she was 4 months old. You look fabulous, I had an emergency C-section. My son was born 2 months early and was in the NICU so I didn’t have time to feel anything. I wasn’t in pain at all and never took one pain pill. Please please show us more of him!!! He’s a part of our family now!!! 🥰

He’s adorable! My first son had the marks on his forehead, a name for them is ‘stork bite’s’ and his faded after several years completely. My littlest baby boy has them on the back of his neck. And don’t worry about what people think of the name, you and your spouses opinion are the only what that matters.
Congratulations to you both! I can't believe such a big baby, over 9lbs is amazing. I had mine many years ago but they were both around 6 lbs. Take your time recovering from the Caesar - don't overdo things, it took me a while to feel better. Also be careful leaning against cupboards as it can bump into your scar as the area gets a bit numb before nerve endings heal. I used to wear a sanitary pad against the cut to protect it as I used to bump into kitchen cupboards etc. Enjoy it all despite the tiredness, as the years go by so fast!
Lovely name. Tip 1. Babies can have cooled boiled water if thirsty but not hungry. Tip 2 baby vests with envelope necklines can be taken off down the body as well as over the head. Hope the hospital gave you the baby manual. Have fun being a parent.
Paris is right about the noise. Keep everything normal and that’s what he will get used to. If you keep it too quiet it will be a nightmare down the road because you won’t be able to make any noise and he will wake up. I know it’s your first inclination is to be quiet but go with Paris on the “normalcy” and everything will be happier down the road. Congratulations you two, Honore’ is absolutely gorgeous. OMG what a beautiful baby. My youngest son weighed 9 lbs also. He was the size of a 3 month old. I had him the normal way, big boy. C section is harder to heal. I love the name, I’ve never heard it before. So cute. You can see the joy on both your faces, congratulations.
