Hi Farmer John, I was so impressed with the corn that you grew last year. I wish that I had the room in my yard to grow some good Jersey corn. I am thankful that I have great farm stands nearby. 🌽
Wow I was surprised it was you FJ! On the Burpee Seeds our local big box has a discount sign above the seeds and are marked down from packet price. They are good seed. I don’t like the Livingston seeds at farm store. Had some strange weak tomatoes twice. Lol, good thing I grow many varieties. Hey, what is V3 and V6 when you were talking about corn? Week 3 and 6? Growing some Silver Queen and if I can keep it watered and fed hope to have ears. I did see today something tore at a couple. Probably baby rabbits that slip through as I didn’t surround that fence with poultry wire…yet. Lol, I’m sure Leigh appreciated the break. Thanks for the tour as I have never been to Lowe’s and now I know what they have.
@@dustyflats3832 it's the vegetative state, in sections when the leaves unroll. 3 to 6 is time to give blood meal. That's when it starts to produce tassels
