He wrote the song after his dad died last summer. It's called Goodbye Summer And when He screams, He says viszlaaaat meaning godbyyyye, saying he s letting go. His sorrow out about losing his dad.

and to think this song won a National Final, meaning, the people of Hungary voted for it...honestly, Hungary is like the best country in Eurovision. They send different entries every year, without compromising quality...

Some of the "intellectual" hungarian "stars" said that this kind of musicians must have mental issues if they scream so much and that "that's the problem of of the new generation" and so on...
The thing is that a hungarians kinda divide in 2 groups.
The rock/metal etc fans and the slow 2000's hip hop group. :D
Of course we have the fuckboys and pop chicks as well buttttt mostly rap and rock listeners.

Goodbye summer = Goodbye my dad! His father dies on the summer of last year! The singer not angry, but he is in mourning!
Zoltán Horváth From my interpretation he's angry because of how unfair life is for just being able to take away things from people's life, which I think is a beautiful message.

Yay!!! Ironically, when you translate the song, it’s very similar to Germany’s entry. It’s about the lead singer losing his dad during the summertime (thus the title translates to “Goodbye Summer”). One of my favorites and hopes to do well. But I can see why certain fans within the Eurovision fandom might not like it. We need more rock songs in the contest!!!
And Luke, you got the fandom’s permission to mess your hair up for this song! 😁
And those are my two favourite songs in this year's batch for this exact reason. They are both mourning, but express their grief in a very different way and it's really fascinating

I agree with Leonie 100%, as always. Hungary rocks, my top 3 for sure.
I'm sooooo happy for their reactions. I really hope this is going to do well in the contest. Its catchy, different, it has a melody and a deep message. I think it will resonate to a lot of rock fans, who are waiting for years to a metal song in the contest. It is a song for dads, boys who like rock, metal and maybe for those who are not so into the contest, but when they gonna see this they will say yes this is for me...and I'm happy that a lot of eurovision hardcore fans are loving this. I still dont understand why this song is low on the bookies...however the bookies never managed to tell for Hungary their real chances in the contest. LOVE THIS SONG even if I'm not a metal fan and I'm gonna vote for this. Good luck Hungary from Romania

Why do people think that metal singers loose their voice after one song? You do know that they have full concerts right? When they sing a bunch of songs and don't loose their voice so don't worry they're practicing but I'm glad you all loved the song.

If you listen to people like Angela Gossov (ex Arch Enemy) or Maria "scream" Arkhipova (Arkona) .. They actually have a way more gentle voice than one would consider when one think of they singing style

It's definitely growing on me, but I was shocked first time I saw/heard it! But I think it's nice to send something different, half of the songs this year are summer party songs, so this is very refreshing!

Just a bit of a pronunciation tip from a non-local: I'm assuming you have to say it like [viss-slat-nja'r]. According to my sources, Hungarian is a language that is spoken out the way the word is written, therefore no fancy different pronunciation stuff like in English, French, Spanish, etc. I'm coming from a country whose language is also spoken out the way it's written and foreigners break their tongues figuratively while trying to pronounce names of our countrymen xD
The behind story of the song he lost his dad last summer, and this song is a good bye for his father with every anger, sorrow
Of you like it look up the meaning of the lyrics he is passionate because the title says "viszlát nyár=goodbye summer" and his dad passed away last summer. Love from Hungary🙈
It is not a mainstream, but this song has a power. He is screaming his feelings (about his father who died last summer and when he said "viszlát nyár" he said "goodbye summer"), we realy proud of this band
Sad statement from AWS (RIP Örs):
To say the unspeakable, to write what no words can describe. This is what we need to do now. Last June Örs had been diagnosed with leukaemia and now we are deeply saddened to inform you that he passed away yesterday. He wanted to open up about his illness last month, he had planned to release his first solo record this Spring and we were set to make the fifth AWS record and play shows again this Fall. During this period his bravery and dignity were exemplary. His creativity, the depth of his lyrics and his presence on the stage will be greatly missed. Losing him is beyond our reach and he will leave a vast space not just in our lives but in the music scene. Örs was the fire himself, warm hearted companion and friend, an inspiring person whom you could trust and always relay on. He was a true wonder. We’re opening our arms and hearts to his family, his friends and everyone who ever felt touched even through his lyrics. We were all very lucky to have had him in our lives and as much as Örs will be missed by us all, he will remain with us all, every day, as long as we can remember.

Haha it's really NOT the song of the devil if you'd understand the meaning of lyrics :D It's about loosing someone you loved because the singer's lost his father lately.
As a long time metal head (way over 25 years and going by now)
(heavy) metal has always been labeled "the devils music"..
Maybe because of the vibes (there's some "ur kraft" as we say around here) in it.. Some "primal energy" in alot of the music..
A lot of metal music is also used to describe feelings, thats its ok to mourn, ok to be pissed off, angry and want to rip the whole damn world a new one..
Metal music is (as i see it) about overcomming.. that you have strength in your own
(well, its also about having a damn good time, making most of life and such.. don't get me wrong there)
Örs Siklósi has passed away last Friday, 05 of February 2021. He was the front singer of the band AWS when they competed together firstly “A Dal 2018” winning the first place. In the Eurovision Song Contest they qualified through the second semifinal scoring 111 points in 10th place amongst 17 other songs. In the grand final they reached up to the 21st place with 93 points.
Viszlát Nyár, Viszlát Álom, Viszlát kedves Örs Siklósi. Rest in Peace! This song will hit differently after you are gone. You will be remembered. You may now be with your father spending time together again. My condolences from here in Cyprus 🇨🇾 to his family and friends. 😔😔❤️🇭🇺❤️🙏🏻🇭🇺🙏🏻

Screaming requires a lot of technuiqe, so if he has the right technique to sing like this he won't destroy his voice this fast. Look at all the metal artists out there who are doing this for 20 years and still are able to scream.
