I do not like the idea which they spread about humanities. We need talents in all fields and stereotyping everyone who pursues humanities is unjust to people who really want to pursue it. Dr. Shashi Tharoor is one of many examples. What you and the society is portraying is that even if you have genuine interest in arts, literature and humanities, you are worthless. This will dissuade many to not pursue these fields. These are subtle concerns and everyone should be sensitive to it. Only then the society can progress and we can save talents from getting lost. There are many engineers in India who aren't fit for technical jobs. This is a by product of stereotyping and herd mentality and insensitive propagation of these stereotypes. Jai Hind
