Outside Illuvium, Gods unchained is the best Web3 game on the market imo. I played regularly for 2 years during 2020, spending most of the time in Mythic. Each god has its own play styles and sub play styles, lots of replay value there. Death I found particularly fun as there was loads of options for aggro or control styles. Also got the gods and IMX airdrop just for playing the game, so big for love gods unchained. To compete at higher levels at the time I was playing, it definitely helps to have purchased powerful cards from the genesis set, which were very rare and could never be nerfed in anyway. Makes me wonder if set 1 Illuvials will have the same competitive advantage when we’re at set 4 and 5 🤔

They changed the rewards system for Gods Unchained recently. Now people that play without a NFT deck earn almost no tokens. So if you want to play the game, make sure to pay or at least rent a meteorite deck or you will get around 0.05 GODS per day. So the game is basically pay to play now.
Do the Weekend Ranks. You'll still get Core Packs, and maybe some minted Expansion Packs (Dread right now). Also, as you level - you'll still get more Core Packs that can improve your decks. Also, the Star Store allows you to get minted cards without $GOD tokens.
@@Polemos_io Rank 7 is the minimum to get rewards. You can reach rank 7 quite easily even with a basic starter deck. But you will earn around 0.05 GODS tokens per day using a basic deck at rank 7. There are budget 10 USD decks you can purchase using Token Trove. Or you can rent those same decks for around 25cents of dollar per day using LootRush. It's pretty cheap. I'm not sure how many tokens you will make per day with a full meteorite deck at rank 7. But that's the bare minimum to play the game and earn rewards.
I got up to the best rank possible similar to "legend" in Hearthstone and got the opportunity to invest early in their token thanks to that But I saw the mail too late 😭
@@Polemos_io It was extremely similar to hearthstone (that's why I got to this rank in 2 days I think) and there was little to no incentive to play at the time I wasn't really bullish on this game because it neither had vision or a ponzinomics to get rich quickly and Hearthstone was simply more polished and fun

not really, i m playing this game for more of 2 years totally f2p, and everyday i can do some of money just for play some games and btw i´m playing in the higest ranks, with decks worth less of 10$(money of the game, because i did not buy any card with my money)

really crappy game..tried to play for a long time but definitely pay to earn. If you don't have a killer deck you will never advance far.
