      Nice video, I made a channel to show you can make low-maintenance, small planted aquariums out of glass bottles and I keep a few shrimp and snails in a glass drinks dispenser! My two latest videos on my channel shows the aquariums with commentary with one showing three shrimp fighting over an algae wafer!

      @@FishOfHex that's totally fine. Is it not supposed to be cut or something? I'm extremely new so I'm trying to see how things are cut, and what shouldn't be cut n stuff

    Maybe time to change lighting to something-led bars?-angled from front of hood to hit corals on the sides or underneath to keep stn/rtn from getting worse. But then again the growth is so fast that you may not care since you’ve already got too many frags. Looks great and keep it up! Time to get that 10 ft long 4ft wide 16 inch tall display tank!😀

    I must of missed the video where you added 2 more lights on the 2 grow out tanks🤔 yeah it's much better with 3 on each side for rapid growth... cool video.!✌💜

    All I know about you is from what I’ve watched in the videos the last couple years but for some reason when you play music while you’re doing the cuttings I expected some Pantera or Megadeth or tool playing. I guess that means I just picture you as a Badass. Keep up the videos you’re doing a good thing

      I would use that music if i could. youtube doesnt like when you use "real music" and they wont pay me if i do.

    Nice coral farm. Cant go wrong with a FOH coral. Variety of corals needs to change and vary though.

    Suggestion on birdsnests. Disclaimer - expect some breakage. Use tupperware and some crumpled up cut up plastic bags to limit movement. Looking for some larger pieces of birds nests.

    If corals are considered animals, and not plants, then how exactly do you grow new corals? Using the LED lights to simulate moonlight so the corals naturally reproduce? Or like plants, do you cut off certain 'nodes' that separate the rock anchor and the branch segments (aka cloning)?

    • @borisbeloudus2691
      @borisbeloudus2691 2 года назад

      Maybe these 'nodes' are so close together that cloning corals is fairly easy from seeing you cut the flat corals into specifically sized pieces for gluing and growing.

    • @borisbeloudus2691
      @borisbeloudus2691 2 года назад

      Meh. The differences between the plant and animal aspects makes it hard for me to declare corals as only animals if cloning them corals is as easy as cloning plants.

    • @borisbeloudus2691
      @borisbeloudus2691 2 года назад

      Gah! What am I saying? I know that the term "cloning" is different than what I know from the actual process of cloning animals from stem cells into embryos or zygotes. Plants are different because of their segments and nodes.

      I tried on a smaller tank, algea grows on the glass. It's not hair algea, it's a green algea crust that is really hard to remove. I wouldn't do it again.
