Emergency battery clamp for holding cells during a test.

A battery clamp for holding cells that are being tested.
It's very cheap and easy to make and serves its purpose well, and the clamp can easily be dismantled and used for other purposes.
It was very easy to do - in fact my 7 year-old neice made it.

I wonder if you left the pins on the thumbtacks if you could clamp the opposing tags together to force the pins through the soft plastic pads of the clamps. Great idea here and simple construction. Love it.

I removed the pins as they would go through the plastic into the metal clamp and short out the cell on test.
