As a sidenote for everybody who is having trouble, there are four ways to beat these. 1) Dump all your points into attack like this video did. 2) Dump all your points into Special and use the appropriate element special move. For those of you (like myself) who like the Auto-assign or well-balanced characters and don't want to dump all your points into attack or special, there are two more ways. 3) Ring of Delia + uppercut. 4) Kiss relic (which doubles your special) + Appropriate counter element Special Move. (Seriously, I haven't even had to use Enhanced moves. I just pop off a projectile or similar move and they go down.) Seriously, unlike Nitara's Time Trial 2, the bots are cake with one of the above 4 methods. Also: for those of you who want to respec, remember that the White Ener Core at the Wu-Shi Academy only respecs one toon.....and it now costs 4000 coins.
I couldn’t agree more. I’m someone who doesn’t mind invasions and can actually have fun with it. However the survive modes and these new kombo (major malfunction) modes are horrible.

Okay, how are u using uppercuts with Katana at 01:53 when the instructions says "with a single combo"? I've tried using Kitana, Sindel and Kung Lao (even tried Liu Kang out of curiosity) Attack and Specials are between 38-42 and still nothing... Combos, Uppercuts, Throws, Kameo moves and Throws. So, either this season has some bugs or there's something I'm missing? Even the new mini stages with Nitara is super annoying and frustrating. Kung Laos was easy tho.
These were cool at first, but then just stupid later on that I ignored them. They at least had the sense not to require them to progress ... unlike the character survival challenges which block chests, shop, forges, and progression by the end.

This is why I can easily say that Invasion Mode's Season 5 is the worst season thus far. I hate whenever these malfunction cyborgs showed up. Especially when it ultimately means that I have to play as a character that I either don't like playing as or unfamiliar with.
As soon as I reach max level with ermac I only use Omni man, then proceeded to dump every permanent stat up There’s a relic behind a clue where you have no meter, but you do double damage for every super one of the final clue gives you invincibility Starts at critical but meter regenerates instantly and damage goes to meter first
They want me to sacrifice every koin I am so badly saving for the Ornate Chests! They want me at the point of resetting Invasion points to the point where there's no going back, no earning back the koins I wasted...

These things not only encourage you to use different chars like Invasions always does but it also forces you to be creative with your combos and relics, or you can just put all of your stats on Attack or Special, what works for you. Another BIG W for Invasions and for NRS/WB in MK1!

Your attack has to be strong enough. Putting enough stat points on attack makes the uppercut stronger. Here he has her attack at 59
