Why don't you guys give a blueprint of an ideal T20 xi, with respect to team combination? Also advise if the concept of 'batting till 8' is going to help sustain the little remaining balance between bat and ball.
Pdogg wants the auction done in half a day which is understandable. But on the other hand the media rights of this tournament is 50,000 cr. Let that sink in. They wont splash the cash if the auction is a 3 hr event.
Completely disagree with the Pdogg suggestion here. Obviously we need to address the salary inequality between Indian and Foreign cricketers and also between Retained/RTM cricketers and Auctioned cricketers. But we can't make the auction process more complacent. The reason why the IPL auction is as big a spectacle as the tournament is because it is too simple for a viewer to understand. If we make the rules and processes too complicated, then the existing viewers themselves will lose interest let alone new viewers. I am not belittling the knowledge of the viewers but i believe we need to think from a layman's perspective. But i completely agree with Ash's solution on RTM. I would like to point out that none of the T20 league drafts/auctions generate even 5% of the IPL auction excitement because of how simple the process is. I can't think we can trade off that simplicity.
if faf goes to punjab for 2crores & bangalore RTM use panna. Only punjab can bid for only 1 time to faf whatever the amount they bid for example 8cr if bangalore agrees for RTM the bangalore will get faf otherwise Punjab anyway faf get 8 crores
I would like the retentions to be the same as usual. 4 + 2 RTM. But I would want to change one thing. These 6 players( including 2 RTM ) can negotiate a salary with their team which can be max 2X of their retained salary(had to be disclosed). But this additional salary wont be deducted from the auction purse. The teams get their favour of retaining the player and the playerz get their increased salary.

Hello Ashwin, Firstly Thank you for your analysis, hard work and efforts to discuss so many topics in cricket, I have been following your channel since 2020, your channel has always enlightened me. Kudos to you and your team. Congratulations on your 500 wickets. You are truly an inspiration for our country. Suggestions for IPL Auction: Retention players should get the highest price in my opinion and auction players should always receive less than retained players. For ex: RCB retains Virat, He should have the highest price in the team, rest of the players should be below him, similar with Bumrah/SKY in Mumbai, Like BCCI has a grading system of A+ category, A category, B category - Retention players should also have the same. So All A+ category players should have the highest value if franchisees want those players to be retained. Another suggestion is that IPL is for Indian players and upliftment of Indian players, In the auction there should be a cap for bidding, Maximum Bid for Indian player should be below the A+ category of retained player, so for ex RCB retains VK at 25 Cr, then in the auction the cap for Indian auction player- say Siraj can maximum get 25 CR, As for the Foreign player the cap should be at 20 CR. so If RCB wants to buy Will Jacks or FAF - he can max get 20 CR in the bid war, but for Siraj they can go upto 25 CR. This way the number of retentions can be reduced, RTM can be cancelled. Maximum 3 Indian and 1 foreign retention. Foreign players should always receive lesser than Indian players as they have more opportunities to play in different leagues, whereas Indian players do not have that opportunity until they are retired. Bidding war should be seen for Indian players and not so much for Foreign players, whether it is in mega auction or in the mini auction.
My honest review is 5 retentions(3 for Indian + 2 for overseas players) + 3 Rtm[1 overseas + 2 uncapped Indian players) + No impact player for upcoming mega auction 2025
The problem is none of franchise is thinking out of the box.... They need to make the core from uncapped and retired player and just have 1-2 superstars
An RTM charge should be applied for the player. Like a certain % increase based on the player slab (predetermined by bcci). If the team applying RTM is okay to pay the premium along with the final auction price, they can apply the RTM, if not that price will be taken as the true value of the player and the last bidding team will take the player. What do you think?
RTM is a fair concept according to me. For example, there is a young breakout player who is most likely not to be retained. The team that scouted him and trained him have the right to get him back as they spotted his talent. Now only the price becomes a deciding factor which is completely fair. And somebody like a Bumrah is not losing 8 crores he's earning 18. There is enough money. The RTM price cap seems like the fair concept.
Hi Ashwin! My thoughts are explained below in a example: Suppose Pat cummins is at 16crs with Delhi and Hyderabad decided to use RTM then the price of pat cummins is 16crs but we should allow delhi to bid again and outmatch their rtm so delhi says 16.25crs then srh can use their rtm again which will not increase the price of the player and now srh has the player at 16.25crs so what this rule does is it will not nullify the advantage of rtm, it is an advantage to the player because if delhi wants to buy pat cummins even for 30crs they have to outbid themselves and no team will be worried about rtm usage.
I suggest u watch the whole show before commenting cos we are saying the hike needs to 20 percent higher and if the team still wants the RTM give it to them. Also the right of the RTM should stay with the player. So…
Fantastic idea and suggestion Pdogg. RTM based on player value slabs. This makes so much sense because one of the purposes of mega auction is to keep teams in balance, reset and nullify teams advantage of specific player/ player set.
@ashwin If a team wants to use RTM than bidding should be allowed between the team that had the last bid and the team that wants to use RTM, whoever bids the highest should get the player (Other eight teams will not have the right to bid as they opted out once the last bid is completed)
@@prakashn363 in this scenario it's only when you refuse to take the player he'd go to the other team As in if someone bids 5cr for a player and you could use RTM but they could raise the bid to 10cr and you could take the player at 10cr Or let the other team take him
There is no point of RTM if there is an option to outbid, instead like ash anna said the player should be able to set a base RTM price (eg 8 Cr) like the base auction price (eg 2 Cr). This will put players in the forefront and will give them the price that they think is crt. However, what happens if the last bid in the auction is less than the RTM base price set by the player. I love to hear your thoughts.
Anna do a full mock auction with franchise owners as the viewers shortlisted .and give prizes to the best team. It would be fun. In our school times we used to play auction with our friends..
Great "hike up" concept. Except there should be one extra rule - the team using the RTM will have one and only one chance to hike up. Let's say sunrisers use RTM for Nitesh Reddy. The bid between MI and RCB ends with 6.2 crores. SRH can use RTM but they also need to submit the "hike up" to a certain amount. They should be careful in hiking up the price. If they say hike up to 10 crores. That's it. They cannot bid further. Other teams will get option to bid higher and continue or stay away and let sunrisers take the player. This can also be used to trick other teams into biding higher - let's say a player ends bid with 4 crore but SRH doesn't need any more players but they are aware that other team definitely needs this player then they just raise the bar by 4 crores after it ends. The other team will lose a lot of money since they really need the player.
How about giving an option to the player within 10 mins after the player gets picked to decide if the player wants to opt in or opt out of that particular session. For example if Hasaranga goes for 2C again in the coming auction. He should be given an option whether he would be willing to accept that offer or not in the next 10 mins. If he opts out, then he can come to auction the next year but current year he can't play. By this, the teams will look for some other player and the money is not locked. I think it's fair for the player and also the teams.
Yeah its going to be completely difficult task for team owners in terms of Pdoggs 10 RTM suggestion, as its a MEGA auction. What ASH na said could be possibly implemented in terms of player agreement to RTM value from the existing Team. Because teams also want to warn foreigners if they are not available for complete season, players should have a point of liberty to agree or not. 4+2+2 most likely the solution to owners! 5 year period is possibly welcomed.
I agree with all the points But I suggest an RTM trick If a previous franchise use RTM Card at the last bid price, The team which bids the last should get an opportunity to bid again only once IN WHICH the franchise can hike the price which they want to pay without any threshold After which The team which used RTM should tell its ok to retain him at revised price or not For eg If ash na comes to auction the last bid was with CSK in 8 cr and RR uses RTM and CSK will get an opportunity to change the price, In that opportunity if suppose they wanted ash na at 13 cr The RR can reject or accept the proposal If rejected ASH TO CSK AT 13 CR If accepted ASH TO RR AT 13 CR ( In this way the player can get the fair value and there is equality between franchise)
Ur points are valid sir,Each and every player deserve equal rights,But pdogg says like a Andhra premier league concept is difficult one fr Ipl,If a player got 5cr bid suddenly a rtm of 14cr is impossible and every team will start to ruin other teams pursue,For that they can increase a final bid like if a player got 5cr bid and if team uses rtm they can buy him at a final price of 5.5 cr or 6 cr to get a equal for biding franchise. Retention be 3 Indians 3 r 2 foreigners 1 uncap, 2 rtm
Pdogg why can't we implement the retention rule in RTM like if 3 RTM is given the first RTM card will have the amount of 15 crore and the second RTM will have the 12 crore and the third RTM will be 8 crores . For example if SKY got 14 crore in auction then Mumbai need to pay RTM amount of 15 crore not the RTM 12 crore. And at the same time if SKY gets 17 crore in auction then Mumbai need to pay 17 crore not 15 crore. This is just an idea this might work out
In home ground like gt , pbks matches the crowd will be less in the stadium , but when dhoni arives the whole stadium gets housefull , so the tickets has been sold in higher prices and revenues are aquired by bcci
Every bidder will have a maximum bid limit for each player. Once rtm is used, last bidder should expose their max bid and that should again be taken back to the team who uses RTM and reconfirm if they are willing to use RTM at this price. This is the best way to run a fair competition.
This 10 RTM rule will affect teams with more marquee players as they would be in a situation to pick atleast 2 players in 15 cr slab...this rule should be equipped with an icon player for each team..but the 4 retention 2 rtm rule would be perfect since it has worked for years
One More option we would like to see is if any team uses RTM then they must have participated in the last 3 bid(Highest) for that player. Eg : Travis Head base price in 2 Cr then if he gets last bid from DC for 7cr and if hydreabad want to Use RTM then if they are in the bid for Head in the last 3 highest bid. Else he will be sold to DC who raised for 7cr or SRH can show RTM and get Head for next highest bid which can be 7.2 Cr.
Pdoggs idea of 10 RTMs is great but I think there should be another condition that if the RTM is called by a franchise over the highest bidder then the auction should go on only between the highest bidder and the franchise who called RTM so the player wouldn't lose his value .........hows is that Ash Na
I loved the ending but not the idea, of RTM , For me 5 retention with or without RTM with three indians and two foreinger . They can use all the retention if they need or They can retain any number less than 5, and for example if they retain 4 with three indians and one foreigner they can use only one RTM, that too with one foreigner. The main rule in the RTM should be every player who played in the IPL, should say the highest amount he feels is right should say to IPL governing council, And the RTM should be used if the auction bid is at least 80% of the highest bid. For example if bumrah say My highest bid amount is 30cr then the RTM should be used if the auction bid is reaches 24cr and above. Even if the auction bid closed at 23.5 then also no RTM is applicable. I think this would be a better idea.
Ash na... Oru Team Oru Player ah RTM use panni thookanum nu asapatta...antha player ku potential irukum la..athanala..Other teams price ah hike panna ...RTM use pannalum...antha player ku nalla amount thane povaru...
Ithikkellaam oru solution thaan irukku Example:- 1)ashwin annaave csk 10 kodikku edukkuraange 2)appo vanth "RR" RTM use pannuraange Inimethaa twist 3) csk kku mattum innoru bid chance kodukkanam 4) one and only one chance csk can bid with the maximum cash if we say 18 crore 5) ingeyum RR rtm thookkiraanganaa RR kke poyidu
The concept of 10 RTM's is a genius one. I have a suggestion to it the team can go for RTM only if they were the last second bidder to the player or maybe they could be in one of the few most recent bids for the player, the number of bids is debatable. I feel it might make franchises to compete more on the auction table.
To be frank last year maathiriye Mr Pdogg sir summa ozhareettirukke. The best newd to be followed Retention - 5 Maximum (3(I) +2(f) & 4(I) + 1(f) ) RTM - 2 Rule for RTM - If a team need to buy a player at the highest bid rate the team need to pay the highest bid rate + twice the base price of the particular player. Which will help the player to gain more financial stability. I have strong reason to say against 10 rtm rule proposal of PDogg Sir and so many other suggestions. If you let me in , I will speak about it. All the players who didn't participated in previous IPL season after purchasing should be imposed by a penalty of the last bid of the previous season and which will need to credit to the previous team after gaining new contract. So the players will not skip the IPL without proper reason. (Exempt for Injury, but will impose a penalty if the same player skip the IPL and play for any other matches.(Eg. If a player skip the ipl and play any othe official matches for clubs, nation or any other tournament he need pay the penalty when registering next IPL and that amount will be credited to the team who bids last time. And the team have the right to retain him at the same price where they bid last time)
Ash'na i agreed your thought. Eppovume oru Indian player athiga vilaikka porathu illa Stark bumbra 'a vida best bowler'a aana stark 22+ cores aana bumbra 12+ nnu ninaikkiren. Munnadi mathiri icon plyrs ruls kondu vanthu antha team la highest bit plyrs'a vida icon player kku salary athigam kodukkalam
I really agreed with pdogg suggestions. His Idea is definitely good for players and help those team has a need for opportunity to strengthen their team. It gives more exiting for viewers also everybody makes more sensitive.
Okay..if a placer X..is at 5cr in auction.. So a Team using their RTM.. If a team wants to outbid them..then they have to give them extra 2.5cr from the last bid (so 7.5 crores).. If no team wants him at 7.5 crores then he will retained by the RTMs team.!!! If not,the auction goes on like this..?? Ash na your thoughts 🎉🎉
After use the RTM card when player bit is stopped But we can use like this when RTM card use other team is not having right to bit only change to bit last team and RTM this may usefull
The IPL auction need to start fresh, players from the mini auction has changed the dynamics of composure and team dynamics. I would suggest to go back to the first Auction where the teams had a Icon Player. IPL governing body should form a list of 10 Iconic players, the teams can have the existing player as Iconic or have a mock auction for bidding the remaining players in the list. Kohli, Rohit, Bumrah, Dhoni, Pant are some of the Icons
Having 10 RTMs is just crazy, one problem is that you can't predict which players will go for which team except for a three or four. Also we have to understand that people require time to process through a change. If such drastic rules are brought in, we can get to see a disparity in the understanding of auction dynamics among team owners where some teams will end up picking better players and might kill the competition considering it is a mega auction and the core will be reatined for the next three to five years. Hence any change should be incremental and should be brought in a phased manner rather than something groundbreaking.
Else he will be sold to DC who raised for 7cr or SRH can show RTM and get Head for next highest bid which can be 7.2 Cr.😊
Ash Anna plese read this I hope you might like this For example starc is been retained by KKR by rtm for 10cr after being bidden by 2 teams like mi and pbks with mi being highest bidder for 10cr and after kkr announced to use rtm, the auctioneer should ask how much max money u want to buy Starc and for example if they (mi) said 18 cr is max then KKR should use rtm for 18cr only or else they should give him to mi, So by that the player gets fair value the franchise gets satisfied and time is also saved Ash anna please see this
Ash rtm is privilege for franchise not for a player but a rule can be brought that player has to be given a chance whether he would like his franchise to use rtm on him ir not before auction.A player like raguvanshi might stay even for low price and player shashank might opt out rtm .It also builds franchise bond and fair for players
Ash you r absolutely ri8 about Player welfare.. I think RTM should also have a minimum Price cap same as retentions. 1st RTM-7 crores 2nd RTM-5 crores But the player can be bid beyond that.this way Valuable will get more money. And the teams can't exploit players with base price RTM
First disadvantage - players ya tharam pirikara mari irukum , players kulla oru kasapana feel varum. Second disadvantage - Oru nalla players thappana slot ku poduvanga or nalla perform pannatha players ya first slot poduvaga Third disadvantage - etha vachi slot la piripanga, kandipa performance vachi pirika matanga😅 Do you agree with this?
The whole point of RTM is to tell the player that the team who owns them is paying the highest possible price that 'other teams' are willing to pay for him. It is as simple as that. This is mainly to 'protect the player' from the franchise retaining him for a below par value as it happened with Ruthuraj for CSK, Narine/Rusell for KKR etc. I am very surprised that Ashwin doesn't seem to get this.
My proposed RTM rule is, that the franchise should declare at the start of the bidding for a given player an "intent to match". Other franchises can then bid appropriately and set the fair price for the player. The franchise can then decide based on the final price if they want to execute the "intent to match" or withdraw if the price is too high and forfeit their RTM. In which case it goes to the highest bidder. In this case competing franchises can operate with a clear idea that this player will be matched and force the franchise to pay fair market value. The spirit of RTM should be that a franchise can retain a key player while paying fair market value for them. It is not for franchises to get "steals".
Ash anna seems to ignore the fact that there will be multiple teams pushing the fair price for a player. Add to this Pdoggs point on Teams ensuring the original team not being able to exploit RTM by hiking price, RTM doesn't really bring a players price down by much.
@Ash anna, Everything has pros & cons...Should remove RTM and only allow 6 retentions or if RTM exists, player has to experience whether if he has gone for high value or low value. Best is, remove RTM and allow 6 Retentions. RTM is never ending debate for sure. That's it.
@AshwinRavi99 Nice ideas thrown in. A standard premium of 20% over the last standing bid should be paid by the team going for the RTM. Auction (current market) value cannot be predicted anyway.
I would say pdogg idea is good 0 retention 10 rtm and rtm slabs and a player should be given a choice to set his minimum rtm salary cap for example dube knows that he can get upto 7-8 cr so he will set his minimum rtm cap at 7.5cr so if the player crosses this amount then only you can use rtm
One humble opinion.. everyone knows pgods 10 rtm is not option.. pls don't dwell on it for long.. pls discuss d options which mostly will happen based on ur inside knowledge
@AshwinRavi99 - I think instead of coordinating with the franchise, the player can inform the IPL governing council if he wants to be retained, if yes, at what price does he want to be retained minimum for. The franchise does not need to know this nor does the player have to inform the franchise. Once the bidding war is done, only then the previous franchise will know if they can retain the player or not. If not, they can choose to restart the bidding again or let it go. Yes, there is a chance for players to miss out on this as well. But net net there is a higher probability they get retained in the price slab they want. We can go a step further and say this provision is there only for indian players.
if franchises are allowed to outbid after the RTM is called, them the purpose of RTM is lost. Ithuku keep an minimum RTM amount. Let's say rtm base for faf is set at 3cr, if the auction bid is only 2cr, still rtm should be for 3cr. But in case the auction bid is 4.5cr, them rtm will be for 4.5c
I would suggest one thing. When the bid is confirmed and a team raises the RTM, only one team who confirms the bid and the team who used RTM can continue to bid. No other team should come to picture
Would like to disagree with the suggestion of auction to be continued despite an RTM.Then what's the point of the RTM ? Maybe ,they could have a financial penalty where a certain amount of additional purse money is deducted if a team wants to use the RTM. Or maybe have a generic formula where if a team is to use RTM they need to pay an additional 2 cr for eg. Example RTM is done at 6 then the team should pay 8 if they are utilizing the RTM
Ash, RTM should be like Money in the Bank brief case. We can cash it at anytime but the bidding should continue with the last two bidders until one pulls out. MIB holder can also lose when they cashin.
When the team decides to exercise their RTM, there should be an option to check with the original bidder, what's the max price they are willing to bid for the player before allowing the RTM.

My honest review . 20 retentions 😂
Impact player rule is the next evolution of cricket, embrace it.
We don’t want such complicated auction. Just keep 3 retentions and 2 rtm (only 2 foreign )

One of the Interesting Episodes❤
Good suggestions PDogg but it's too Complex..
23:46 Ash Anna Perfectly articulated, Absolutely agree
Hi Ashwin! My thoughts are explained below in a example:
Suppose Pat cummins is at 16crs with Delhi and Hyderabad decided to use RTM then the price of pat cummins is 16crs but we should allow delhi to bid again and outmatch their rtm so delhi says 16.25crs then srh can use their rtm again which will not increase the price of the player and now srh has the player at 16.25crs so what this rule does is it will not nullify the advantage of rtm, it is an advantage to the player because if delhi wants to buy pat cummins even for 30crs they have to outbid themselves and no team will be worried about rtm usage.
5 retention without restriction, foreign big players registered for big auction can be part of small auction, good trade transperency.
Ash na said right, value of players is important
Pdogg 👌🔥. Ash anna solradhu correct than. Players ku fair values kedaikanum👏
@ashwin If a team wants to use RTM than bidding should be allowed between the team that had the last bid and the team that wants to use RTM, whoever bids the highest should get the player (Other eight teams will not have the right to bid as they opted out once the last bid is completed)
If other franchises are allowed to bid after RTM card rasied then what is the use of RTM? How it will be different from usual bidding?
You could get the first shot at the player at any price
@@krishnanandpremanand3581 don't understand plz explain?
18.00 ethume panna mattanga
@@prakashn363 in this scenario it's only when you refuse to take the player he'd go to the other team
As in if someone bids 5cr for a player and you could use RTM but they could raise the bid to 10cr and you could take the player at 10cr Or let the other team take him
@@krishnanandpremanand3581 what about if he outbids again? What is the use then?
There is no point of RTM if there is an option to outbid, instead like ash anna said the player should be able to set a base RTM price (eg 8 Cr) like the base auction price (eg 2 Cr). This will put players in the forefront and will give them the price that they think is crt. However, what happens if the last bid in the auction is less than the RTM base price set by the player. I love to hear your thoughts.
Then the team can retain him only at the base RTM price orelse if they want to pay less then try bidding n get him below that amt
Anna do a full mock auction with franchise owners as the viewers shortlisted .and give prizes to the best team. It would be fun.
In our school times we used to play auction with our friends..
With the idea given by prassana sir. 10 rtms based on slabs.
7:40 10RTM laa nadakathunu therium kolapama nadakiratha discuss pannunga please 😊
I agree with all the points
But I suggest an RTM trick
If a previous franchise use RTM Card at the last bid price, The team which bids the last should get an opportunity to bid again only once IN WHICH the franchise can hike the price which they want to pay without any threshold After which The team which used RTM should tell its ok to retain him at revised price or not
For eg If ash na comes to auction the last bid was with CSK in 8 cr and RR uses RTM and CSK will get an opportunity to change the price, In that opportunity if suppose they wanted ash na at 13 cr The RR can reject or accept the proposal
If rejected ASH TO CSK AT 13 CR
If accepted ASH TO RR AT 13 CR
( In this way the player can get the fair value and there is equality between franchise)
Semma exciting idea proposed by PDogg from 03:44... Adha apdiyae lock panni 10 RTMs badhilaa 5 RTMs only-nu panna mass-aa irukkum! 🙏🏾
Every bidder will have a maximum bid limit for each player. Once rtm is used, last bidder should expose their max bid and that should again be taken back to the team who uses RTM and reconfirm if they are willing to use RTM at this price. This is the best way to run a fair competition.
Congratulations ash anna❤❤❤ Tnpl Champion
This 10 RTM rule will affect teams with more marquee players as they would be in a situation to pick atleast 2 players in 15 cr slab...this rule should be equipped with an icon player for each team..but the 4 retention 2 rtm rule would be perfect since it has worked for years
Ash anna talk about how india want to improve in olympics. I know you definetely tough to talk about this but its useful for poor people
After the last bid .if u want to use RTM last + base price, that will be good for the team as well as players
If 7 players are retained ( 5 retained + 2 RTM) then each team compulsary should retain one indian uncapped which will benifit younger players to grow
According to csk fans that one uncapped Indian youngster is dhoni
I loved the ending but not the idea, of RTM ,
For me 5 retention with or without RTM with three indians and two foreinger .
They can use all the retention if they need or They can retain any number less than 5, and for example if they retain 4 with three indians and one foreigner they can use only one RTM, that too with one foreigner.
The main rule in the RTM should be every player who played in the IPL, should say the highest amount he feels is right should say to IPL governing council,
And the RTM should be used if the auction bid is at least 80% of the highest bid.
For example if bumrah say My highest bid amount is 30cr then the RTM should be used if the auction bid is reaches 24cr and above. Even if the auction bid closed at 23.5 then also no RTM is applicable. I think this would be a better idea.
Good suggestion from @AshwinRavi99 on having a minimum RTM value for each player

I completely go with Pdogg sir
@Ashwin I really like pdogg suggestion.. if they go with this idea , auction would be more entertaining than actual game (mind game) 😊
The best newd to be followed
Retention - 5 Maximum (3(I) +2(f) & 4(I) + 1(f) )
RTM - 2
Rule for RTM - If a team need to buy a player at the highest bid rate the team need to pay the highest bid rate + twice the base price of the particular player.
And the team have the right to retain him at the same price where they bid last time)
4 retain (3 indian + 1 foreign) +2 RTM perfect💯
CSK ( 1st jaddu 2nd ruttu 3rd msd 4th pathirana) 1st RTM convey 2nd RTM dube

What Ashwin saying is correct..in Rtm ..even after rtm bidding needs to continue..then only player get correct value

I really agreed with pdogg suggestions. His Idea is definitely good for players and help those team has a need for opportunity to strengthen their team. It gives more exiting for viewers also everybody makes more sensitive.
informative and innovative session guys.
After use the RTM card when player bit is stopped
But we can use like this when RTM card use other team is not having right to bit only change to bit last team and RTM this may usefull
Ash bro you are right for RTM rule... Franchises to get player opinion
Else he will be sold to DC who raised for 7cr or SRH can show RTM and get Head for next highest bid which can be 7.2 Cr.😊
Ash Anna plese read this I hope you might like this
For example starc is been retained by KKR by rtm for 10cr after being bidden by 2 teams like mi and pbks with mi being highest bidder for 10cr and after kkr announced to use rtm, the auctioneer should ask how much max money u want to buy Starc and for example if they (mi) said 18 cr is max then KKR should use rtm for 18cr only or else they should give him to mi,
So by that the player gets fair value the franchise gets satisfied and time is also saved
Ash anna please see this
Ash rtm is privilege for franchise not for a player but a rule can be brought that player has to be given a chance whether he would like his franchise to use rtm on him ir not before auction.A player like raguvanshi might stay even for low price and player shashank might opt out rtm .It also builds franchise bond and fair for players
Travis head explosive opener 🔥🔥🔥🔥 in all three formats
Ash you r absolutely ri8 about Player welfare.. I think RTM should also have a minimum Price cap same as retentions.
1st RTM-7 crores
2nd RTM-5 crores
But the player can be bid beyond that.this way Valuable will get more money. And the teams can't exploit players with base price RTM
First disadvantage - players ya tharam pirikara mari irukum , players kulla oru kasapana feel varum.
Second disadvantage - Oru nalla players thappana slot ku poduvanga or nalla perform pannatha players ya first slot poduvaga
Third disadvantage - etha vachi slot la piripanga, kandipa performance vachi pirika matanga😅
Do you agree with this?
When a team take rtm on a player the final money what he had bidded by the another team has to be increased by some percentage like 20%, 30%
The whole point of RTM is to tell the player that the team who owns them is paying the highest possible price that 'other teams' are willing to pay for him. It is as simple as that. This is mainly to 'protect the player' from the franchise retaining him for a below par value as it happened with Ruthuraj for CSK, Narine/Rusell for KKR etc. I am very surprised that Ashwin doesn't seem to get this.
Hi Anna ungaloda fan Arif Kanchipuram
That's it.
Feel for you ASH anna.. I can see the emotion when pdogg broh mentioned about Head .
@AshwinRavi99 Nice ideas thrown in. A standard premium of 20% over the last standing bid should be paid by the team going for the RTM. Auction (current market) value cannot be predicted anyway.
In that case, shouldn't the outbid rule exist for retentions also???
Ashwin anna soldrathu crt
Which players will retained by the teams, using 5 retentions and 2 rtms. Make a video about that ash anna
Ash Anna on yellow jersey is what we want for the upcoming ipl auction csk(ipl)💛dd(tnpl) Kasi thatha please bid for ash na pride for tn 🙏
Prasanna needlessly spent time on impractical suggestion
Could have been a better discussion on 5 or 6 retentions and yes or no for RTM
Ashwin anna and Pdogg combination is classic
Or it can be like this
After RTM is exercised
The bidding war should be only between the team with final bid and the team which used RTM
if franchises are allowed to outbid after the RTM is called, them the purpose of RTM is lost. Ithuku keep an minimum RTM amount. Let's say rtm base for faf is set at 3cr, if the auction bid is only 2cr, still rtm should be for 3cr. But in case the auction bid is 4.5cr, them rtm will be for 4.5c
Iyya antha Wide guide line ku oru vali sonna nala irukum.
Intha ipl auction ehh vendam summa football maari tranfer and singnings maariye players ehh edukalam like bbl
