Love the Goyard colors. Love the shape. Love the leather handle details. However (don’t come for me), to me the sheen on the Goyard looks like those old plastic table clothes my great grandmother had on her kitchen table. The backing on them was also similar material on the inside of the bag. I would have loved this tote but that sheen and the material was not something I could get past either .

Those Chanel vanity cases are beautiful!! No one can blame you for giving them a try! I had a chance to see the Goyard tote bags in person once & I was not a fan. I love their bright colors, but I agree on how cheap they look. I did recently think of selling a couple of YSL bags I am not reaching for and a discontinued style from LV, but as usual my daughter won't let me get rid of anything. She is 25 now and most of the bags that I no longer wear or that she loves, I am slowly passing them on to her.

I have an LV my lockme chain bag in black that I hadn't worn in quite awhile and was seriously thinking about selling it. Last weekend I wore it to a funeral and completely fell back in love all over again. So thankful I wasn't rash in selling it. I recommend always taking a bag for a last test drive before selling so there's no sellers remorse.
Ha! I knew it! I just came home from a beach vacation. I was thiiiiiis close to buying a Dragon Difussion basket bag for the trip. I didn't love the way it felt, but for the price I would have put up with it (50% off at NM). I loved how practical and packable it was and it was very cute. But I did not trust the dye job at all. It just felt like it was going to bleed like crazy. I took a pass. Glad I did. Sorry that happened to you. 😞
I have that green Goyard - I love it especially in the summer with white jeans. I use an organizer to keep a shape when using. I think you’re crazy to sell it ☺️

I just sold my Saint Laurent medium crinkled Niki. I loved the bag, but the magnet closure was so strong that I fought with it every time I tried to open the bag. It felt like I was going to rip the leather, so I let it go.

I have the Lou Lou small in beige, the Polene grey, the MJ Tote bag medium all influenced through your videos 🤣 However I dont have the issues that you have so I am really glad for all of these and use them constantly. But I must admit I didnt think the MJ Tote bag would become so heavy once you filled it as a work bag. I would recommend the canvas medium as an office bag incase people commute using public transport and need to lug it around for long periods of time
I had that exact green pm Goyard after already having 2 of the gm ones and loving them but the pm strap is just way too short could barely carry it on my shoulder. I sold it to fashionphile for twice the amount I paid 😳🤯
People have issues with the St. Louis because, as you said, it was made to be a beach bag not a work bag. People who treat it as a work bag have issues because it’s not made to carry a heavy load.
I would be interested in purchasing the red bag ❤ Also, I totally agree that the Goyard totes look like cheap plastic bags. I’ve never been a fan. Tory Burch has a tote that is very similar but not cheap looking.
You could try the medium sized YSL Loulou, it has a bit more weight and the chains don’t have that same issue. I have a couple of them in my collection and love that the LV toiletry 19 fits.

Have you considered Faure le page daily battle totes? Similar to Goyard but NO SHEEN, it’s an older brand, and they also have an adorable mini of the daily battle. I have the navy 19 amd LOVE it.

I sold both my monogram and Azur pochette accessoires I never used them 🥲 some people would say how dumb of me but I sold them for triple what I paid for so that’s that lol I sold my so black ysl Lou puffer also. Gorgeous bag but the leather was too soft for me and I would constantly scratch her🥲 I also sold my Dior black saddle with her jacquard strap, gorgeous but too small as a mom I would never carry her 🥲

Oh so sorry about smal Loulou . It is my favorite bag, I have it in white. Wear it almost every day, no issues. I have same hair length as you. But I do find it sometimes a bit bulky worn as shoulder bag, the pro is that it fits a lot, I always even carry small bottle of water in it, lifesaver 😊

In regards to to the Goyard I love the Artois it is a fantastic bag but I would go with Anjou it’s more similar to the St Louis as far as appearance but it’s leather lined so it has more structure the Artois zip gets on my nerves it has a tendency to scratch my hands and no matter what you can’t stretch it out the Anjou is the perfect Goayrd bag.

I'm with you on the Goyard. I'd thought about getting the Saint Louis tote for the missus but that plasticky look the canvas has just reads cheap to me for what you're spending. That said, I've asked my better half to pick up the Saint Pierre card wallet in that exact green for me for Christmas. Gone are the days of bulky wallets in my back pocket...can't tell you the last time I even handled paper currency so a card wallet is all I need and the Saint Pierre looks classy (and doesn't appear to have that plastic look to it...at least in the photos). Have you thought about some of their other bags like the Saigon tote? Leather to canvas ratio much higher. Another great video Minnie!
on my chopping block: chanel 19 pink tweed because i have another 19 in pink but in lamb. however cant seem to go through with it as i dont think its a sellers market right now and also tweed is hard to sell.
I have a vanity bag, very similar in shape to the LV Canes from Aspinal of london, you do need to put the whole bag down to open it however I dont mind because its black and has feet so theres no fear of damaging it there. With your yellow one I wouldnt feel comfortable doing that and get why you would like to sell it. Such a pretty shade.
I own 2 mini tote bags and their definitely the best size! Love them. I agree with all the points with the loulou haha! I still own mine.. its a winter and evening bag for me. It gets quite heavy with the chains and digs it my shoulder all the time :(. Don't wanna part ways with it.

I have the green Artois pm and love it. I got it specifically for the structure and zipper option! And I still never zip it, but the option is there. And I don’t feel like it’s as shiny as the St Louis - unless it’s your lighting making it look way shinier.
Totally relate. I have/had a love hate with the multi pochette accessories. I wanted it so badly but then when I got it I hated using it as it was sooo fussy.. soo I sold it.. but I still look at and want to love it and think about getting it again but bottom line I just did not find it very practical or functional..

The Goyard bag looks cheap to me. It reminds me of a shopping bag I got from a supermarket chain for free.
I love the Goyard SL. The sheen goes away the more you use it and some colors have less sheen than others. The black and white have less of it.

on my chopping block: chanel 19 pink tweed because i have another 19 in pink but in lamb. however cant seem to go through with it as i dont think its a sellers market right now and also tweed is hard to sell.
I have a vanity bag, very similar in shape to the LV Canes from Aspinal of london, you do need to put the whole bag down to open it however I dont mind because its black and has feet so theres no fear of damaging it there. With your yellow one I wouldnt feel comfortable doing that and get why you would like to sell it. Such a pretty shade.
I own 2 mini tote bags and their definitely the best size! Love them.

Never understood the Goyard thing - yes -just sold a dior metallic wallet on chain and my fuchsia lady Dior is on the chopping block. Love the color but it’s such a fussy bag.

I have the green Artois pm and love it. I got it specifically for the structure and zipper option! And I still never zip it, but the option is there. And I don’t feel like it’s as shiny as the St Louis - unless it’s your lighting making it look way shinier.
Totally relate. I have/had a love hate with the multi pochette accessories. I wanted it so badly but then when I got it I hated using it as it was sooo fussy.. soo I sold it.. but I still look at and want to love it and think about getting it again but bottom line I just did not find it very practical or functional..
