Didn't expect to find anything game changing in here, I'll be honest, but damn the second jump tip is huge. I had no idea the hidden timer starts after you let go off the jump button
@@IlVostroNarratore I think if u hold the jump for the 200 milliseconds the flip will run out 1.25 secs after that 200 milliseconds. if u just tap jump for 50 milliseconds the flip will therefore only last 1.25 secs after the 50 milliseconds
This helps so much, I wrote every single tip down where I could find myself guilty of, or of which I could see my mistakes and where I should improve, I got like 22 and I probably missed like 10 other so I will definitely have to watch this video a couple more times which actually doesn’t bother me at all. So thx for this and for putting effort in this. 💜
He probably means the mentality aspect. I only have one friend that plays rocket league and if I'm not playing with him I tend to lose my mind when solo queuing which creates tilt. But if you have a strong mentality then yeah, solo Q is definitely good. Especially 1v1
23, 31, 33(drifting for cleaner ceiling shots), 38, 39, 48, 50, 66. As a Champ 2 something said on these numbers caught my attention. Some were just small adjustments I either forgot or stopped training, but I still got something useful to me and the people I play with. Thanks my guy!
9:28 actually the rocket science channel debunked this. The corners only hit harder if the corner on the back and opposite side of the car are lined up like how a knife stabs harder when it goes straight in. Also the top 100 ones player - King Ranny - says it doesn't really matter if you hit with the front of the car or the corner and to just get good at hitting the ball really hard with both, which is backed up by the experiments on the rocket science video all about maximizing power because it says the increased power is so minimal it's insignificant. And you don't need to always hit with the nose. Many times hitting with the back of the car can get more height on the ball, but a softer hit is sometimes better to shoot high without hitting the crossbar at close range, which you see AJ do in a lot of his flip reset shots, who is probably like the best pro at scoring flip resets consistently. And one of Turbopolsa's world titles was won by him scoring a shot off the wall using the back of the car instead of the nose.
That come back to what he said. At some point you can broke those "rules" The point is he listed what hit harder to softer. So if you want a chance to put as much power as you can you better use the bumper or coner of your car than the back or wheel.
idk if i said it, but i LOVE your vids and THE INTRO, MAN! I am flying everytime and feel like i am in the heaven of RL man, you are a sooooooo good Content Creator! golden!
No way this vid is actually fire, and insane, bro this is just pure useful tips, what a video man great stuff in it awesome video, your kinda underatted
I wanted to add something on that Backpost / Inside the net topic. I watch a lot of Squishys content and I remember him being in the net in situations where he knows it's against a demo heavy team or one guy who is aggressive. Situation: The attacking team is coming at your goal over the left corner. The guy at the corner gets one last hit into mid, drives cross field in front of your net to find a demo while rotating out to your corner boost. That is really efficient, works for me a lot of times. If your are backpost you are in a straight line of the enemy stealing your corner boost while rotating out. If you are in goal. potentially even front post. (knowing your third mate is fast enough to rotate behind you) The enemy has to turn inside the net and loses all his momentum. On the other hand. You can't just drive up the wall to backboard defense properly. But this isn't a thing below champ / GC. So I agree. It is a special situation and the knowledge when to do what comes with experience :)
From my own experiences I do recommend solo queuing. Teammates aren’t always gonna be available to have and solo que games are found in each division all the way to SSL. I’m currently D3 and solo ques have given me the opportunity to improve in almost every aspect of the game especially rotations and general court vision. But great video definitely gave me good insight! ♥️
it used to be simple before they ruined the game by adding directional air rolls years after the game was already out. you could just overlap powerslide and air roll on the same button. Unfortunately it isnt so simple anymore if you want to use one of the buttons they ruined the game with.
Keep up the work Luke your videos help me get out of Dimond and into champion and i can't wait till i turn 18 so i can join the your amazing coaching program.

do you think the training method in freeplay where u chase the ball as fast as u can and hit the ball as fast as u can as fast as possible is a good training method?
Showing my love and support! Keep it up bro! you’ve helped me so much thank you! I started 2 seasons ago went from silver-gold to Plat in one season! Last season I hit diamond! Right now I’m jumping back and forth between D1 and D2. Currently I’m Div 4 D1 around 910ish. I took a few weeks off last season because I grind a hard af the previous two seasons. Now I’m trying to find my accuracy again. All this is because of you I’m very grateful for you and your videos! ! You alone took me from silver/gold to diamond in 2 seasons!. I Just don’t have my mechs down like before the break. Although, I realized The game feels like it slowed down after my break?! . I’m not a flashy player I’m more a smart player that positions myself in the right spot. Again thanks for all your hard work and dedication to RL and specially your viewers we all appreciate it! Keep up the good work!
I need to improve my ground to air dribble well I actually can’t do it at all so that’s my next video to watch. If I can get decent at that then I’ll move up to diamond 3/c1 no problem I haven’t seen a single player use already any kind of aerial shots in diamond 1-2 so that’s my goal!
Playing casual 1s will make you a better player. Then play ranked because your warmed up. I’m plat 3 but with my Champ 1 friend it felt slow that the c2 on the other team. this is because of playing like 50 1s games against champs was slow and I kept up with champ 2s as well. Sometimes I’m the MVP of some matches.
6:51 actually if the ball is already partly in the net or extremely close and at the top, it's faster to just double jump while holding boost since even a light touch will immediately push it in the net, like in season 5 grand finals Cloud 9 Vs Dignitas when Squishy's flip reset was partially saved, so torment had to finish the shot. Torment didn't fly and then flip into the ball, because it was already 90% in the net, so it was faster to just fly straight at the ball.
Can you make a video on the preflip air dribble/reset? (Diagonal flip cancel cancel or the twist flip from Wayton) I've searched through many videos and have only seen one video on this mechanic
You know what's interesting? If you go to school, people teach you things. In some places, you need to pay to attend post-secondary schools. This means that you are paying for knowledge, which you can then use in any way you'd like. Say someone teaches you how to make money; you can then use that to make money as well. And it usually doesn't affect the teacher because either they are getting paid to teach it, or they are making money in such a way that more people selling means a higher potential for buyers. Now think about buying a book, it's more or less the same thing. When you buy a book, you are buying it for knowledge. Maybe it's something for fun, maybe it's something to learn from, maybe it's something meaningful from someone else. But even though you are buying the book for it's knowledge, you are not allowed to then go and profit off that knowledge in the same way. Don't get me wrong, if you read a book about how to make money, you can very well use that knowledge to make money. However, you can't use that book as the foundation for making your own book and selling it. Even though it would be totally fine to use the knowledge you learned from the book to write your own book... If that makes sense. The point being that you are paying for knowledge, not for the actual book itself. Which is a hard line to draw, because "that" physical copy of the book if very much your property, you've just purchased it. The knowledge within the book is yours too, and you can share it if you want. But the words on the pages are not yours, they are still the property of the author of the book. This becomes multiplied when you begin to look at things like video games. The words in the text, the 2d and 3d assets, the code, they're all someone else's property. When you buy a game, you are not really buying the game, you are buying an opportunity to play the game. You can share that opportunity with your friends. You can throw that opportunity away if you want. But the game itself, the constructs that allow it to exist, will always be the property of someone else. Anyway, have a good week lol.
