I’ve been watching high level Manon matches for quite some time, as I’m maining her and trying to reach Master with her. you really need a lot of patience and capitalize on mistakes and she doesn’t seem to do much when cornered. Hope she gets some buffs in the next patch.
EDIT: Unfortunately, I quit playing Street Fighter 6. The losses kept piling up when I used Manon and it just isn’t worth the trouble anymore. Sorry to give anyone false hope.
EDIT 2: I decided to return to SF6 thanks to my subscribers voting to return to it. I’ll try to see if I can get sneak into Diamond.
Playing her looks like an exercise is patience. Definitely have to be calculated. I remember when people used to call her "broken" when the game came out...

Funny I came upon this post after getting third at a local and thinking I’m just “over it”. Just been tired of every Ken, Cammy,Luke, Kimberly,Juri,Deejay etc doing raw drive rush and pressing whatever they want while I watch seethe… this thread didn’t help my case any.. but it made me smile.. 😌😭🙏🏾❤️✨

The combo that he used to get to that particular level 2 super probably used all of his juggle points so there was most likely nothing he could do afterwards and elected to stay on the ground.
@@markomanxreally?? That’s why he wasn’t able to continue the combo?
@@frogmin2439 Yes. I don't fully understand exactly how many invisible juggle points each move uses and whatnot, but you do have a certain amount, and when you run out, your attacks stop hitting until the opponent can land on the ground.
That combo was almost certainly running out of juggle points if it didn't already. If he could get one more hit, it was probably scaled to shit and he was better off not going for it to maintain offense pressure via oki.
