What a squad, as soon as someone is injured another player comes in and knows the system and gets the job done. Axel hitting form at the right time as well.
Wow, the support of our fans for our team at away matches too is simply amazing! Keep it up guys & be the '12th player' for our team at such difficult matches!
How great is it to see that young lad at 4:15 be able to soak up the atmosphere and see the best of the town that most of us have been deprived of in the years leading up to Kieran’s appointment..what a joy these last 2 years have been…
Like last season, a tricky 6 weeks from early December to end of January & now we're starting to cruise. I wouldve been happy to finish around 7th or 8th, but it seems we are just coming into form on time, again like last season. Good 😅job done.
As a result of being in the FA Cup QF the Leicester v Southampton game has been postponed, no new date as yet. This means that Leicester face three successive away games now, Sunderland, Hull and Bristol City. Southampton face three successive home games, Preston, Sunderland and Boro. Leeds have a quartet of awkward games coming up, three against 'teams who are down there', Stoke at home, Wednesday away and Millwall at home, then Watford away. There is little love between Millwall and Sheff Wed and Leeds and they will be hard games. Meanwhile, the laughed at Ipswich, have Bristol City at home, Cardiff away, Sheffield Wednesday at home and Blackburn away. We then have Southampton at home, and can control our own destiny, which is psychologically a good place to be in, and we have good muscle memory having succeeded under pressure this time last year. Clearly, Leicester, Leeds and Southampton, all failed this tine last year, otherwise they would have escaped relegation. I think anyone not taking us seriously to win the league is a fool. For reference, the bookies still have Leicester odds on to win the league, Leeds 7/2 and Ipswich 11/2, with Southampton back on 20/1 as a five point gap with them still to go to Leicester, Leeds and Ipswich is a tough ask. Leicester , Leeds and Southampton are in my view, the best trio ever to get relegated, and have squads worth £1Billion between them! Meanwhile Ipswich, cost around £10Million. We have lost the fewest league games, four, and other than the two losses to Leeds, have lost 2 of the other 33 League games, having lost just four league games last season, so that is 8 losses in the last 81 league games! Finally, we are SIXTEEN points clear of every team which was in the Championship last season, and in any normal season would be winning the league.
It's difficult to hear exactly. Plymouth Argyle were known for playing Semper Fidelis" - The Band of HM Royal Marines - I think that's the song the players walk out to. For the one when they are about to kick off, I think it might be their Janner song. ruclips.net/video/zZtLpa38qZ8/видео.html
