i spent years the bier keller in blackpool the band was willie snyder and the bavarian stompersthey were magnificentthis was the greatest nights entertainmentyou could have last time i went things had changed and it just wasent the same i wonder is this the same band
Well, this is obviously not meant to present genuine Bavarian traditions and culture but to perpetuate a stereotype of the worst kind. The musicians in their tacky costumes are just there to help the staff get the customers sloshed in this incredible joint. To say the least, I'm a bit perplexed ... anyhow, to each their own. Greetings from Bavaria!
@@M3MYS3LFNiixX -- They may be good musicians, but the music they play has nothing to do with traditional Bavarian folk music. It's not even real Oompah music. This type of music is not even "krachat" -- do you know what that means? And the costumes are of course fictitious and look ridiculous. This kind of entertainment seems strange to me. You claim that this band already performed in Germany. Where, then? In Bavaria? I can hardly imagine that such appearances could please a German audience. There are contemporary musicians and bands in Bavaria who enjoy great popularity, but they don't appear that way. Can you name any such band or musicians? How are you an expert? Oans, zwoa, g'suffa!
Absolutely fantastic great musicians....love you all , hope I can find you when I visit Munich this year.
You Tube doesn't get better than this frankly. Utterly brilliant.
I went to see a Bavarian Oompah band in a club in Birmingham in the 90s. After an hour everyone was dancing on the tables. An unforgettable night.
