I don't know if you take reading recommendations from comments but if you do, I would like to recommend the Blackwell Pages trilogy by K.L. Armstrong and M.A. Marr, it's very similar to RR books in my opinion, basically the premise is that the Norse gods died long ago, but now Ragnarok is coming and their like 13/14-year-old human descendants have to take their places in the battle. Really good series, you should check it out.

Honestly, I think Annabeth and Draco could work out. She wasn't giving up on Luke, even when he was trying to kill all of her loved ones, including herself and quite frankly, Draco is way less of a threat than Luke in terms of mindset, bravery, and determination. Basically in all areas. So Draco wouldn't be that difficult to get on board with for Annabeth, I feel.
