Those customs look great. Years ago, I remember a guy buying up a bunch of Shipwreck figures and doing headswaps and customs to create a deck crew for the Flagg. After that single comment, the price of Shipwreck started to skyrocket. I think that's one of the reasons why Shippy still commands a high value on the secondary market, regardless of whether he has his accessories or not. Not only is a popular character, but there's not a lot of other options for sailor figures.
Also, I so wish Marauder would overhaul their website. It's so cumbersome to comb through all those the menus and pages. It's really poorly organized. If they had a feature where you could click and drag parts onto a blank figure just to see how the parts look together, they'd probably sell a ton more. With the way it is, the navigation and wordiness and how the back button resets the page back to the top...it all just makes the experience a real drag. I was on there two days ago putting together an assassin type character with a suit and mask and weapons and so on, and after about a half hour of searching for what I wanted, I just closed the page and quit out. Their products are great. Their website makes it no fun to buy them though.

Thank you sir! I will agree that the website has evolved to a confusing mess lol. Hopefully when they release they’re Vietnam wave they clean it up and make it more stream line! Not only has SHIPPY gone thru the roof but all the joes have. Yikes!

Another silly question: Are there any places out there that can do custom heads that would fit on Marauders? Or would making DYI customs myself be a better option?
Thanks Samantha …not a stupid question! Yes if you try eBay and type in “ custom 1:18 head” you will see there’s an abundance of creators out there. Not sure if there’s McHale stuff though! Good luck! 😁😁
@@woodman29 Thanks! I think Marauder were working on aloha/Hawaiian shirts at one point, possibly to be released around the same time the Vietnam stuff comes out. Now to reckon out which Marauder heads look like who ... *^_^*

Sailors only wore the necktie with the "Cracker Jack" dress uniform,, and it was black, not white. Also, there os no insignia on the "Dixie Cup" hat.

I’ve heard a lot of collectors say this very same thing! That would be amazing but doubt it will ever happen.
