I WISH more Jamaicans knew the benefits of fermented cabbage (sauerkraut); a natural probiotic that is excellent for gut health. Imagine making fermented veggies with her cabbages and selling it that way especially since cabbage sales are low. I LOVE her!

Beautiful venture. Do your research and find foreign investors to purchase your crops. Check out local restaurants and small business cook shops that would be willing to purchase directly from you. Local chefs like fresh fare and they like farmers 🚜 that are able to grow what they want for their business. In America 🇺🇸 it's called 'Farm to Table '.

During the 70' in the Manley era girls use to do agriculture in secondary school. It was a skill you choose once you reach 10th grade. Agriculture was compulsory for 7,8,and 9 grade in secondary schools.

Empress hold yu head up. I have a soft spot farmers; back in the 70's, my best times were taking the bus from close to Coronation market to my mother's country. I would have married a female farmer if I knew any in Kingston; got a wife that planted lots of flowers lol.
I love planting flowers too ,but now am trying to grow vegetables, I have a lot of seeds that I sow, just waiting for the place to warm up in my region
