Y’all we finally got the keys to our new home🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 tonight I’m give y’all a realistic home tour of it. Keeps in mind we are moving in & there is stuff everywhere.
I’ll be doing another home tour video once we are settled in & everything is in place, so make sure you are subscribed & have the notifications on

This is so exciting! Lots of room for your family! Tip from an interior designer - hang your pictures lower. It pulls the room together. Also, if you arrange them in a cluster, that also helps, rather then spreading them out so far. Your leaf pictures are the right height for the room🤗🤗 Everything will come together! Congratulations!!
Agree, ALL your pictures need to come down. They should be more at eye level. I am the same with you as not hanging everything up right away. I have to look at everything for a bit first. Especially because I might change the room around before I make my final decision. I try not to have to many holes in the walls. Also the girls need dressers in their rooms. I love decorating. I have so many things pinned from Pinterest. Oh also be careful with those wire racks that are in all the closets, I found out, don’t make them to wavy, they will fall down. I don’t know if your husband is handy ? But if he is, if you put a nice piece of wood all the way across where they are attached, this will help re enforce to keep them up.

Congratulations to you all! I know you are excited. Tip: don't play music while you are talking. I didn't hear anything you were saying until the music stopped. (Make them wooden signs to hang for their privacy on the door knobs. That way your doors stay cleaner and less finger prints for you to clean later.)
Electric fireplace/ TV stand would look great on that where TV is❤😊
Remember don’t hang your art, mirrors too high - should be just a little higher than eye level. Get your furniture in first then hang you art! My sister is a decorator and she’s taught me so much!! Hope this helps!

Have you tried a magic eraser on the two black spots? Those usually will lift any marks off. 😊your house is pretty. Congratulations 🎉

Yall can always use command hooks,Sometimes I use stickpins for some ouctures,my Grandpa was a Master Carpenter by trade and ge made picture frames and used the coke can pip tops fir habgers on the frames. The Pulltop
At the end of your bed you might want to think about a storage bench so hubby and you can have a place to sit and put your boots/ shoes on

i mean no offense by this...just curious...why does the baby have the biggest room?...the older girls kind of seem squooshed into that little room

Could be because the girls wing has a bathroom and she wants to keep them together...just possibly...dont know for sure. But I'd of did it that way too.
I think the bunk beds separate makes the room smaller 🤔 but yeah, I was thinking the same.

Hang stuff a little lower. Group things together. You don’t have to cover the whole wall area. That is a big home. So happy for you all.

I like the flooring.
My boys had bunk beds and we bought a sheet of paneling and put under the top bunk. It looked a lot nicer and kept my ornery son from picking at the mattress when he was supposed to be sleeping. Lol.
We didn't see the kitchen, laundry room. Nice home!
Congratulations! Moving into a new home that you have been waiting so long for is such an amazing but hectic time. As someone who moved into our dream forever home 10 years my advise is don’t try to do it all now. It’s okay to have bare walls and areas until you figure out what configuration you like. Maybe for the girls room you could look for some double dressers vs shelving for all their extra clothes and things. I put them in my kids closets under because their clothes are shorter to keep the kids from stuffing junk and trash into the bottom of their closets to keep from cleaning. That left the ends to hang longer clothes like dresses and kept more floor space in their rooms. I also used painters tape to mark where I thought I wanted pictures to keep from putting extra holes in the walls. So happy for you!

Try a pencil eraser for the black spot on the tub. If that doesn’t work use aerosol hairspray

Put the vanity in the closet. Put a pretty plant in that corner where the shower is. Love all the space.

Can I ask? Does the cost of getting electric and water setup at the property get included into the purchase price of the home? Can you buy a new home like that on a loan or do you have to buy it out right?
Zep bathroom cleaner or magic eraser for the marks in tub. Will even take permanent marker stains out.

P.S. Here's a decorating tip: wall hanging and pictures should be hung 60 inches from the middle of the picture to the floor. Some of your pictures, etc. is too high.

Oh 2000 sqft is a good size we have a 2500 sqft 3bed/3ba but we have two living rooms and two dining rooms all the rooms are enormous and I do love my walk in closet it’s another room in itself 😆 congrats on your new home May the Lord bless it immensely 🙏🏼

love ur new home ! take ur time and see how you want it after being in it . we bought our home in july i still don’t have my bed frame up we had to order the screws and bolts from ethan allen we lost the hardware so my motor bed has just been on its stand . we’re still going thru stuff it’s going to be awhile but that’s ok it will eventually come together . enjoy the moments it’s exciting time .

For the black marks in tub, make a paste with Bar Keepers Friend, a can of powder similar to Comet sold at Walmart, that should work!
