I don't think you can using this method but you can fully cover the gap using a double door instead of a garage door or you can hide it with an electrical wire like I did in the base.
You're right, I credited the guy who explains it better then me but didn't really edited my video to make it clear. Basically everything happens when placing the second square foundation where you create a tiny pixel gap by connecting it a specific way to the first one.
