This is by far the best and most humble discourse I have witnessed regarding the Gospel of Inclusion. Personally, I listen to Bishop Pearson mainly because of the love and understanding he displays. The two of you did an amazing job of discussing without immediately condemning. Thank you.
I really enjoyed this conversation. I am overcome with sadness at Carlton Pearson’s change in theology and can understand why it is heretical. You conversation is a reminder from why we must be gentle in spirit and speak the truth in love, not to win an argument, but to share the good news of the Gospel. The Gospel of Inclusion strips away the need for repentance and justice and leads people away from Christ. I pray that Christians can engage in a way to understand others that don’t know the Gospel and not drive them further away from it.
Really good interview. Just watched "Come Sunday", and, as a 20 year Tulsan, who has family associated with ORU, that added an extra element for me. I have a lot of conflicting emotions right now. We MUST continue to pray for Carlton Pearson. Thanks for uploading this. It's so sad and scary how "down to earth" and charming deception can be. Horrifying. We must pray. I'm loving this discussion, but I have a question for anyone who will respond; What is so dangerous about a message of Love & Inclusion? Isn't that what Jesus taught? Wasn't Jesus considered a 'Heretic' of his day? I have my own thoughts of course, but would Love to hear others and I will read your responses with an open & loving heart & mind.
For my personal conviction, nothing, so long as Christ remains on the throne of your heart. Whether she meant to or not, I feel the lady in this (sorry, I don't know your name!) got it on the head where Carlton takes the Calvinist "Irresistible Grace" (the "I" of TULIP) and extends it outside of the "elect" and says that God's love and grace is so good, than not even the hardest of hearts, when in His presence, His face to face presence, will be able to reject Him, especially if we believe that He ultimately accepts them. Unfortunately, not all Christians (I'm talking about many Reformers) believe that God ultimately accepts everyone. He accepts the "elect". So, I think we can be dealing with "doctrines of demons" when we take it too far either way. I am a "Hopeful Inclusionist" which means that I believe God's goodness will bring all men to repentance, and I feel there is enough Bible to support my position. I am not a "determinist" at this point, in that I do not believe that God will force His love on you, and bring you into His presence against your will, but again, I revert to the belief and hope that He is SOOOO GOOD that everything that made us reject Him in this life will melt away in His presence. There is no scripture to support inclusion but there are so many that deny it and speak of those that will pervert The truth of The Gospel.. despite what we may think or feel about what is written at the end of the day it is what it says as a Christian man I struggle with doing what God says but not what He says there is a difference.. What's wrong with what he's teaching is it's not The Truth because The Truth speaks against it God died for us all not just those who choose Him but all won't and that won't stop Him from loving them all the way to hell which is destined for all who refuse the Son.. There are some hard truths in the bible we must accept because they're not going to change.. Holiness is what God says it is and without it no man shall see The Lord..

I believe there were some who went to him and attempted to reason with him. The first scripture that comes to mind for me is 1 John 2:19. He was never truly of us. My prayer is that he finds his way to Jesus.
Awesome interview. The gospel of election is kind of the opposite of the gospel of inclusion. We have to be careful with accepting "gospel" that isn't necessarily biblical
Very interesting interview; thanks for taking the time to do it and shed some light. I want to address a few keys points made throughout the video. It is important to note that, regardless of WHO accepts what, we will ALL individually have to stand before God one day in order to give account for all things that we did on the earth. I cannot stand before God and say ANYTHING about Carlton Pearson, nor can he stand before God to do the same on my behalf. Therefore, announcing and justifying Carlton Pearson’s behavior by saying that he is supported by mainstream Christians and Gospel artists (albeit behind closed doors), DOES NOT give the “pass” to accept the “Gospel” of Inclusion or sinful behavior of any sort. Also, faith is not a conversation of logic - it never has been. From a logical perspective, the Bible may not make sense, especially if you are looking for opportunities to doubt. However, a relationship with God allows us to grasp a spiritual understanding of all accounts that were written by God’s servants, as inspired by His Spirit. Jesus IS full of grace and truth, but we must understand that grace is available to those that choose to accept the power of salvation through Jesus Christ. Salvation is a CHOICE - it is not forced upon anyone (or imputed to those who do not choose to believe). It must be consciously accepted by those who confess with their mouths and believe the Lord Jesus with their hearts. This confession and belief then begin to manifest a change in our lives, and transforms our lives to produce the following (and more): 1) alignment with the Word of God in our daily lives, 2) development of intimacy and fellowship with the Father on earth, 3) continued relationship and fellowship (upon our death from earth) into all eternity in Heaven. We should be careful to consider the flocking of PEOPLE as a representation of the “true Gospel”. In fact, when MANY people flock, it may often be an opportunity to reflect and see if the teaching is of God at all. People often flock to what is comfortable and what does not require them to live according to a standard. OF COURSE, people (in general terms) will agree and flock to what satisfies their flesh and what does not require them to live “in a box”. This doctrine allows people to do whatever they want with their lives and to still be reunited with God in the end. Please do not mistake what I am saying here - GOD LOVES EVERYONE (as should anyone who says that they are called and/or used by God)… However, GOD ALSO HATES ALL SIN!! As Christians, we should preach the message of love to all - showing them that Jesus is the true depiction of love (as shown by the sacrificing of His life on the Cross) and that He has loving arms that are ready to embrace each one of us. His love is so powerful that it causes us to change our lives in order to be drawn more closely to His victorious power. Grace and Love change our lives… we become CHANGED when we are in relationship and fellowship with Jesus!!! The true “INCLUSION” is an opportunity to be included by grace in the family of God, which we do not deserve. Because of HIS LOVE and redemptive power, we now have the opportunity to be transformed and brought into the Kingdom of God. So, rather than seeking to include God in our lives and to say that He will accept ANYTHING that we do, we have the opportunity to be INCLUDED IN HIM and brought into fellowship with Him - as changed people, renewed in our spirit man day by day. Lastly, allow me to say, that we must work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. We must diligently seek God and His desires for our lives. Remember, people DO have itching ears, and a wind and doctrine that sounds good can quickly carry them away into an erroneous practice and belief. Finally, let us be mindful to consider those that are under our sphere(s) of influence. I believe that one of the greatest dangers for Carlton Pearson is that he has a platform that will impact many people in error. For that, he will have to give an answer - not in earth, but in Heaven. My prayers are with Carlton Pearson and those that have been drawn to his current teaching or confused by the message. May God’s mercy abound toward them.
I don't see how anyone who studies the bible completely misses the place Christ Jesus said would have weeping and gnashing of teeth. The place where all who reject Christ will go, where Satan and his angels will be bound. God only wants to spend eternity with those who believe and accept Him. I know I am a simple woman, with the righteousness of filthy rags, but I wouldn't allow any strangers who disrespect me, lie on me and say that I'm not real come to live in my house. God is just, and He will not tolerate sin, thats why He gave us a way to holiness through Christ, the Way, the Truth and the Light.
I stop going to church! But, my faith, belief, and love for the Lord has not wilted near ounce. Carlton was given something that you will never understand. Unless you use your understanding and intelligence over your emotions. God pulled him out from a wick situation. Church is all about the money now.! The Lord said, when 2 or more come together!!!!!! Thanks. Many of those with insight are shunned. If his God spoke to him, that's his confidence. Not necessarily that others will. No one should be blamed for Carlton then. Carlton is tool old for a babysitter. His phone works too.
After watching this conversation, I listened to the podcast This American Life, which are the same producers of the movie you are discussing 'Come Sunday'. It really pulls on the heart strings. Pearson sited his first inkling that there was no Hell being during a moment when he sat, with his healthy baby on his lap, watching a tv program showing starving children and wondered how a loving God would send them to Hell (when they were already experiencing such Hell on Earth). This is a compelling reason to stop believing because Jesus would be unjust to do such a thing. Admittedly, as a Christ-Follower, I have a hard time with this as well... that is, if that were actually the reality of what was happening. Based on the totality of my knowledge of scripture, God reveals Himself to every human during their life at some time and if he doesn't then they would be considered as emphatically 'innocent'. They are only responsible to what knowledge has been revealed to them. For example: there are scriptures that would back up the theology that infants are not considered able to make a conscious decision for salvation because they have not reached a cognitive ability to make such a choice. Would that reasoning not reach to these people who are suffering without knowledge of the choice of a savior? Would not God, who knows the depths of the heart of every person -more than we know ourselves - be able to know if a human would indeed choose to bow their knee in submission to their Creator if they had the opportunity? One thing I know, God is ALL-KNOWING and He is full of JUSTICE. He will not cause anyone to suffer unjustly. He has a special brand of compassion and favor for those who suffer on this earth. He is infinitely more compassionate and able to save than the Gospel of Inclusion claims or offers. All the Gospel of Inclusion does is pose the suggestion that we don't need to deal directly with our sin, which is the true nature of the problem in the first place. Is it truly considered loving to deny a person help for a chronic problem for which they could be free? Sure, Pearson might claim that relief would be in Heaven after this life is over. But ask the 'sinner-set-free', who the Lord led out of a 'certain kind of life' __________ (insert whatever problem you struggle with) into amazing relief, freedom and joy. This is the Kingdom that Jesus has already brought to earth... no need to wait until getting whisked away to Heaven. Relief, satisfaction, and fulfillment can begin NOW, here in this life! I would like to pose these questions to those that agree with Pearson's theology of inclusion: Would we be okay with those unrepentantly doing the torturing and causing the suffering of innocent ones to be eternally affirmed in what they chose to spend their earthly existence doing? Shall they be forever comforted by the arms of God they are struggling to resist every day of their life on earth? Would Heaven even be a desirable eternity for the heart bent upon rebellion and evil? Would they not suffer more agony to be forced to live under the eternal rule of a King they so vehemently hate with all of their heart?

Pushing and pulling is how you get divine answers; not by merely accepting without some critical analysis...... even the Bible. Carlton can call himself whenever he wants to. He is not beholden to the church; he is beholden to God. We are all sufficient in ourselves because we are divine souls...not our bodies. It doesn’t really matter what the church and those Bishops think... they were so unkind, so unloving. Carlton and all of you were created sufficient in yourselves. All the things he lost he could have always have done without because they are material stuff.
Sooo if someone consistently prays and asks god to not let him be deceived yet he still comes back with the same revelation....what does that say about prayer? Especially if Carlton Pearson wrestled so hard in fasting and prayer and reading of scripture...
The issue is not prayer. The issue is found in the heart of the person. Many scriptures speak of this: 1 Cor 11:19, 1 John 2:19, 1 Timothy 4:1 many more
If you are begging god for help in understanding and from what I could tell he was sincere in his request for understanding...why is it that his heart could ultimately trump that? Then again, it brings me back to the Habakkuk book where the prophet is asking god for one thing and god responds simply how he sees fit. So in that example, the heart really didn’t matter because god may have simply decided to let him be “deceived”.
So the scriptures clearly show that we have a free will. The truth will always present itself to us and we will always have the opportunity to choose it or the opposite. 1 Tim 4:1 says God's Spirit clearly says that in the last days many people will turn from their faith. They will be fooled by evil spirits and by teachings that come from demons.
Carlton is cherry picking scripture(s) the ones that best apply to inclusion he uses and the ones that don’t he disregards..... if you listen to Oprah Winfrey she has this exact same universal approach .... with the “evolving of consciousness “ thus they are creating god in there own image .... so let me get this straight ..... everybody is saved and they don’t know it yet? Pearson genuinely loves but if your church now has to try to emulate Pearson would be disingenuous. Would God be in that? I think Pearson is showing you to go back to the drawing board. And how do you know that you are 100% right anyway? When you have answered this question, question your answer and let God in.

Upon His brief return to Earth from the Father after being given to the world as the final sacrifice He call all His followers together to tell them that "Old things had passed away. I'd like to interject the possibility that Carlton Pearson may have gone beyond the "Old things that passed away" at the finished contract between God and Abraham, and accepted that "All things have become New "? That said and done Christ went back home to consult with the Father, who so loved the world He had sacrafised His only begotten son. So now that the Abrahamic contract has been fulfilled Christ returned to gathered His flock and said to them. I give unto you A NEW contract, ONE LAW...THAT YOU LOVE ONE ANOTHER AND AGAINST THAT LAW THERE ARE NO OTHERS." April Ross. To fulfill a legal contract does do away with it. Once fulfilled it is absolutely no more in effect, it has been fulfilled. There was a new law put in place by Jesus as proof He fulfilled the old contract, but the church refused it like the stone the builders rejected because it was as bad for business as turning over the tables of the money changers. awumdah you are going by what we see as "law" and not the correct translation of the term "law" biblically. Just like there are several meaning in the word "love" in the Bible same thing in the word "law"
At 45:51 Dr. Rhodes says Pearson's theory is Christ centered and when I have heard Pearson he is not advocating anything outwardly that doesn't sound Christian with the exception and all be it HUGE exception the belief in no Hell & the belief in Gods & Jesus's saving grace of EVERYONE. He speaks about the need for morality and ethics but brings up a valid point that the fear of damnation is not stopping ppl from sinning. So he is 100% making a controversial and possibly even a wrong interpretation of the Bible but Why is he so loathed? I understand why ppl disagree but I don't understand why ppl feel so strongly about what he is saying when I believe he is sincere in his belief and not doing or saying these things to be malicious or in desire for attention or to be a martyr.
I don't see why he still could not hold some pentecostal principles together with his new message. I believe the church only has about 20% truth anyway wrapped up with 80% errors. So he might have taken 10% of the 20% truth of the church over with his new learning what's wrong with that? I think Pearson has a point and in any case he appears much more loving than the pentecostal movement.

Pearson has some belief that I do not share but he has some truths surrounded by some errors...just like all religions. Some religions are so self righteous that they are in for a rude awakening. God is all inclusive. God has no favourites... God loves us all. However this salvation that God is always offering, has to be accepted by those who are willing to accept and it is through repentance that Gods in salvation is accepted. There is a hell which is made up of many different dimensions and if we do not repent, we will go to one of the dimensions of hell that is befitting to our individual soul conditions. So the law of repentance which is the way to the heavens (also made up of many dimensions) or the law of compensation kicks in, meaning the hells. I don’t think Carlton was channelled by God but possibly from a spirit from the lower dimension. And by the way we are always surrounded by spirits who can infiltrate our thoughts in the same way God or Gods celestial beings or angels can. Everyone is susceptible so as St. Paul says “try the spirit”, St Paul knows about the way spirits interact with people. After all, he Paul was at one time heavily spiritually influenced. Carlton needs to “try the spirits.” But he is a living man and for that God bless him.

Hi K! The Bible is much like a treasure map. There is one line that leads you to the treasure everything else on the map ie the distant trees and other landscape is irrelevant. The Bible contains a lot of information that is man inspired and written which does not bring us to the truth it only distracts us. There is no way an agape loving God can be an authoritarian who holds an eternal grudge against someone he created. People are waking up and it’s a good thing. Slaves obey your masters......does God support slavery? It’s ok to think for yourself besides what the fire and brimstone people taught us.

Too much focus on Carlton Pearson.The topic is about the beliefs he is presenting...He is just a man. FOCUS on how this is impacting the church. FOCUS on how it goes against biblical principal. Nobody cares about his rejection... that's to be expected.
At the end of the day, it's what you believe and don't know. Your approach with this subject is most beautiful but still lacks the humility of what you actually know to be true concerning our eternal destination. I think we are missing the point of what carlton pearson is saying . Don't forget he walk away from a multi-million dollar ministry ; that say something . Why start something new just to get more of what he already had . In his videos he talks about how the bible came together . He proves it's a man made book .
charles boles Pearson’s Church went from 5000 to 1000 before he gave it up from what I have read. There are many original manuscripts that even atheist scholars agree on from which the New Testament can be rewritten if the Bible was lost...way More than any other historical book. Do your research for eternity is at stake...the most important decision any of us will ever make.

This is by far the best and most humble discourse I have witnessed regarding the Gospel of Inclusion. Personally, I listen to Bishop Pearson mainly because of the love and understanding he displays. The two of you did an amazing job of discussing without immediately condemning. Thank you.
I really enjoyed this conversation. I am overcome with sadness at Carlton Pearson’s change in theology and can understand why it is heretical. You conversation is a reminder from why we must be gentle in spirit and speak the truth in love, not to win an argument, but to share the good news of the Gospel. The Gospel of Inclusion strips away the need for repentance and justice and leads people away from Christ.
I pray that Christians can engage in a way to understand others that don’t know the Gospel and not drive them further away from it.

I'm loving this discussion, but I have a question for anyone who will respond; What is so dangerous about a message of Love & Inclusion? Isn't that what Jesus taught? Wasn't Jesus considered a 'Heretic' of his day? I have my own thoughts of course, but would Love to hear others and I will read your responses with an open & loving heart & mind.
For my personal conviction, nothing, so long as Christ remains on the throne of your heart. Whether she meant to or not, I feel the lady in this (sorry, I don't know your name!) got it on the head where Carlton takes the Calvinist "Irresistible Grace" (the "I" of TULIP) and extends it outside of the "elect" and says that God's love and grace is so good, than not even the hardest of hearts, when in His presence, His face to face presence, will be able to reject Him, especially if we believe that He ultimately accepts them. Unfortunately, not all Christians (I'm talking about many Reformers) believe that God ultimately accepts everyone. He accepts the "elect". So, I think we can be dealing with "doctrines of demons" when we take it too far either way. I am a "Hopeful Inclusionist" which means that I believe God's goodness will bring all men to repentance, and I feel there is enough Bible to support my position. I am not a "determinist" at this point, in that I do not believe that God will force His love on you, and bring you into His presence against your will, but again, I revert to the belief and hope that He is SOOOO GOOD that everything that made us reject Him in this life will melt away in His presence. There is no scripture to support inclusion but there are so many that deny it and speak of those that will pervert The truth of The Gospel.. despite what we may think or feel about what is written at the end of the day it is what it says as a Christian man I struggle with doing what God says but not what He says there is a difference.. I believe there were some who went to him and attempted to reason with him. The first scripture that comes to mind for me is 1 John 2:19. He was never truly of us. My prayer is that he finds his way to Jesus.

Very interesting interview; thanks for taking the time to do it and shed some light. I want to address a few keys points made throughout the video. It is important to note that, regardless of WHO accepts what, we will ALL individually have to stand before God one day in order to give account for all things that we did on the earth. I cannot stand before God and say ANYTHING about Carlton Pearson, nor can he stand before God to do the same on my behalf. Therefore, announcing and justifying Carlton Pearson’s behavior by saying that he is supported by mainstream Christians and Gospel artists (albeit behind closed doors), DOES NOT give the “pass” to accept the “Gospel” of Inclusion or sinful behavior of any sort. Also, faith is not a conversation of logic - it never has been. From a logical perspective, the Bible may not make sense, especially if you are looking for opportunities to doubt. However, a relationship with God allows us to grasp a spiritual understanding of all accounts that were written by God’s servants, as inspired by His Spirit.
Jesus IS full of grace and truth, but we must understand that grace is available to those that choose to accept the power of salvation through Jesus Christ. Salvation is a CHOICE - it is not forced upon anyone (or imputed to those who do not choose to believe). It must be consciously accepted by those who confess with their mouths and believe the Lord Jesus with their hearts. This confession and belief then begin to manifest a change in our lives, and transforms our lives to produce the following (and more): 1) alignment with the Word of God in our daily lives, 2) development of intimacy and fellowship with the Father on earth, 3) continued relationship and fellowship (upon our death from earth) into all eternity in Heaven.
We should be careful to consider the flocking of PEOPLE as a representation of the “true Gospel”. In fact, when MANY people flock, it may often be an opportunity to reflect and see if the teaching is of God at all. People often flock to what is comfortable and what does not require them to live according to a standard. OF COURSE, people (in general terms) will agree and flock to what satisfies their flesh and what does not require them to live “in a box”. This doctrine allows people to do whatever they want with their lives and to still be reunited with God in the end. Please do not mistake what I am saying here - GOD LOVES EVERYONE (as should anyone who says that they are called and/or used by God)… However, GOD ALSO HATES ALL SIN!! As Christians, we should preach the message of love to all - showing them that Jesus is the true depiction of love (as shown by the sacrificing of His life on the Cross) and that He has loving arms that are ready to embrace each one of us. His love is so powerful that it causes us to change our lives in order to be drawn more closely to His victorious power. Grace and Love change our lives… we become CHANGED when we are in relationship and fellowship with Jesus!!! The true “INCLUSION” is an opportunity to be included by grace in the family of God, which we do not deserve. Because of HIS LOVE and redemptive power, we now have the opportunity to be transformed and brought into the Kingdom of God. So, rather than seeking to include God in our lives and to say that He will accept ANYTHING that we do, we have the opportunity to be INCLUDED IN HIM and brought into fellowship with Him - as changed people, renewed in our spirit man day by day.
Lastly, allow me to say, that we must work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. We must diligently seek God and His desires for our lives. Remember, people DO have itching ears, and a wind and doctrine that sounds good can quickly carry them away into an erroneous practice and belief. Finally, let us be mindful to consider those that are under our sphere(s) of influence. I believe that one of the greatest dangers for Carlton Pearson is that he has a platform that will impact many people in error. For that, he will have to give an answer - not in earth, but in Heaven. My prayers are with Carlton Pearson and those that have been drawn to his current teaching or confused by the message. May God’s mercy abound toward them.
I don't see how anyone who studies the bible completely misses the place Christ Jesus said would have weeping and gnashing of teeth. The place where all who reject Christ will go, where Satan and his angels will be bound. God only wants to spend eternity with those who believe and accept Him. I know I am a simple woman, with the righteousness of filthy rags, but I wouldn't allow any strangers who disrespect me, lie on me and say that I'm not real come to live in my house. After watching this conversation, I listened to the podcast This American Life, which are the same producers of the movie you are discussing 'Come Sunday'. It really pulls on the heart strings. Pearson sited his first inkling that there was no Hell being during a moment when he sat, with his healthy baby on his lap, watching a tv program showing starving children and wondered how a loving God would send them to Hell (when they were already experiencing such Hell on Earth). This is a compelling reason to stop believing because Jesus would be unjust to do such a thing. Admittedly, as a Christ-Follower, I have a hard time with this as well... that is, if that were actually the reality of what was happening.
Based on the totality of my knowledge of scripture, God reveals Himself to every human during their life at some time and if he doesn't then they would be considered as emphatically 'innocent'. They are only responsible to what knowledge has been revealed to them. For example: there are scriptures that would back up the theology that infants are not considered able to make a conscious decision for salvation because they have not reached a cognitive ability to make such a choice. Would that reasoning not reach to these people who are suffering without knowledge of the choice of a savior? Would not God, who knows the depths of the heart of every person -more than we know ourselves - be able to know if a human would indeed choose to bow their knee in submission to their Creator if they had the opportunity?
One thing I know, God is ALL-KNOWING and He is full of JUSTICE. He will not cause anyone to suffer unjustly. He has a special brand of compassion and favor for those who suffer on this earth. He is infinitely more compassionate and able to save than the Gospel of Inclusion claims or offers. All the Gospel of Inclusion does is pose the suggestion that we don't need to deal directly with our sin, which is the true nature of the problem in the first place. Is it truly considered loving to deny a person help for a chronic problem for which they could be free? Sure, Pearson might claim that relief would be in Heaven after this life is over. But ask the 'sinner-set-free', who the Lord led out of a 'certain kind of life' __________ (insert whatever problem you struggle with) into amazing relief, freedom and joy. This is the Kingdom that Jesus has already brought to earth... no need to wait until getting whisked away to Heaven. Relief, satisfaction, and fulfillment can begin NOW, here in this life!
I would like to pose these questions to those that agree with Pearson's theology of inclusion: Would we be okay with those unrepentantly doing the torturing and causing the suffering of innocent ones to be eternally affirmed in what they chose to spend their earthly existence doing? Shall they be forever comforted by the arms of God they are struggling to resist every day of their life on earth? Would Heaven even be a desirable eternity for the heart bent upon rebellion and evil? Would they not suffer more agony to be forced to live under the eternal rule of a King they so vehemently hate with all of their heart?

Pushing and pulling is how you get divine answers; not by merely accepting without some critical analysis...... even the Bible. Carlton can call himself whenever he wants to. He is not beholden to the church; he is beholden to God. We are all sufficient in ourselves because we are divine souls...not our bodies. It doesn’t really matter what the church and those Bishops think... they were so unkind, so unloving. Carlton and all of you were created sufficient in yourselves. All the things he lost he could have always have done without because they are material stuff.
Sooo if someone consistently prays and asks god to not let him be deceived yet he still comes back with the same revelation....what does that say about prayer? Especially if Carlton Pearson wrestled so hard in fasting and prayer and reading of scripture...
The issue is not prayer. The issue is found in the heart of the person. Many scriptures speak of this: 1 Cor 11:19, 1 John 2:19, 1 Timothy 4:1 many more

If you are begging god for help in understanding and from what I could tell he was sincere in his request for understanding...why is it that his heart could ultimately trump that? Then again, it brings me back to the Habakkuk book where the prophet is asking god for one thing and god responds simply how he sees fit. So in that example, the heart really didn’t matter because god may have simply decided to let him be “deceived”.
So the scriptures clearly show that we have a free will. The truth will always present itself to us and we will always have the opportunity to choose it or the opposite. 1 Tim 4:1 says God's Spirit clearly says that in the last days many people will turn from their faith. They will be fooled by evil spirits and by teachings that come from demons.

Pearson genuinely loves but if your church now has to try to emulate Pearson would be disingenuous. Would God be in that? I think Pearson is showing you to go back to the drawing board. And how do you know that you are 100% right anyway? When you have answered this question, question your answer and let God in.

There was a new law put in place by Jesus as proof He fulfilled the old contract, but the church refused it like the stone the builders rejected because it was as bad for business as turning over the tables of the money changers.

Pearson has some belief that I do not share but he has some truths surrounded by some errors...just like all religions. Some religions are so self righteous that they are in for a rude awakening.
God is all inclusive. God has no favourites... God loves us all. However this salvation that God is always offering, has to be accepted by those who are willing to accept and it is through repentance that Gods in salvation is accepted. There is a hell which is made up of many different dimensions and if we do not repent, we will go to one of the dimensions of hell that is befitting to our individual soul conditions.
So the law of repentance which is the way to the heavens (also made up of many dimensions) or the law of compensation kicks in, meaning the hells.
I don’t think Carlton was channelled by God but possibly from a spirit from the lower dimension. And by the way we are always surrounded by spirits who can infiltrate our thoughts in the same way God or Gods celestial beings or angels can. Everyone is susceptible so as St. Paul says “try the spirit”,
St Paul knows about the way spirits interact with people. After all, he Paul was at one time heavily spiritually influenced. Carlton needs to “try the spirits.” But he is a living man and for that God bless him.

Hi K! The Bible is much like a treasure map. There is one line that leads you to the treasure everything else on the map ie the distant trees and other landscape is irrelevant. The Bible contains a lot of information that is man inspired and written which does not bring us to the truth it only distracts us. There is no way an agape loving God can be an authoritarian who holds an eternal grudge against someone he created. People are waking up and it’s a good thing. I think we are missing the point of what carlton pearson is saying . Don't forget he walk away from a multi-million dollar ministry ; that say something . Why start something new just to get more of what he already had . In his videos he talks about how the bible came together . He proves it's a man made book .
charles boles Pearson’s Church went from 5000 to 1000 before he gave it up from what I have read. There are many original manuscripts that even atheist scholars agree on from which the New Testament can be rewritten if the Bible was lost...way More than any other historical book. Do your research for eternity is at stake...the most important decision any of us will ever make.
