thank you joni for all your encouragement, i remember watching the film of your accident when i was 15, in the early eighties. I walked away from God for 30 years but after loosing all our life savings, our home our income and then our health I finally turned back to God.He has been so faithful to both me and my family , who don't believe (yet), your little messages are so encouraging to me, i suffer from cronic fatigue but you have taught me so much about being ill, yet not loosing any faith or trust in how Jesus can work in and through your life even because of your illness or dissability. thank you Joni xxxx

Dear Joni, I'm so thankful for your faith and sharing! These bite-sized segments are so precious to me (and many others) right now. I agree that God is testing our faith as you describe, but mine is showing less of it than others see on the outside. I'm battling fear and anxiety almost daily - but I *am* battling it! Your videos help ground me in Christ and keep me focused on Him. I'm so thankful you continue to choose to trust in and testify to His goodness, faithfulness, and love! I need these! Know you are in my prayers daily and influence them for others in vulnerable positions. Your life is such a blessing as you honor His call for you "for such a time as this"! God bless you all!

The global pandemic of Covid-19 is not the first. Their have been smaller but just as scary outbreaks of the Black Plague, and the global pandemic of the Spanish Flu to name a couple. Christians then had the opportunity to pray and seek the Lord, while encouraging others to do the same. Joni’s right though, looking to God with assurance and his peace is the right response. I’m looking forward to continuing to see what God brings out of this situation.

I wholeheartedly agree with our beloved, joyous and encouraging sister Joni!! The testing of our faith produces steadfastness. It increases our confidence that we are God's children, his elect. Peter writes about the genuiness of our faith being proven in the time of trial (1Peter 1:3-9). Being battle tested gives us genuine confidence about who we are in Christ Jesus. I've kept my faith even though l'm laid off due to corona virus-related government restrictions. At first the enemy tried to grip me with anxiety about the future. Many "WHAT lF...?" statements. But l decided to fight the good fight of the faith and to look to Jesus the Pioneer and Perfecter of my faith. I've been drawing near to God in prayer and he has blessed me with the opportunity to be trained to give bible studies to brothers and sisters in Christ who are in similar situations. Some people see this crisis as an opportunity to increase their earthly treasures. As citizens of heaven we can lay up treasures in heaven where moths and rust will not consume and thieves can not break in and steal. We have the opportunity to shine as lights in an ever darkening world. We have the opportunity to glorify God, the living God, by loving one another, our neighbors, friends, strangers. For God is love.

At its BEST our body is vile! But time is winding up! JESUS is coming SOON!
