They are a Christian band, and yes it is a Christian song, but her lyrics can be interpreted in several ways. :)
It's a Christian rock band using their faith and their own life to create something everyone from any walk of life can enjoy

This is so deep and i resonate with this ALOT especially after reading Deena's story:
"This song was birthed out of fear and grew into an anthem of strength and conquering for me. I have a chronic illness that takes fear to the next level, and when I am over-stressed, anxiety and panic chase me down no matter how fast I run. What I've recently learned and keeps me going, is to actually slow down and find something to be grateful for in that day, in that moment. When I wrote this song, my gratitude was literally focused on being alive, having been given a chance to breathe another breath into the day. Sometimes all you need is a shift in perspective."

So unique and creative! Love the idea of Deena fighting her shadow in the end. Reminds me of how in life we can get caught in fighting the battles in our mind that don't exist. We get caught up in what we think others are saying about us or what we think we can do to get others approval. However it's when we wake up and look around outside of our thoughts we can keep breathing and be free from those insecurities and struggles.
Keep up the great work and I'm looking forward to this new album

I think the whole song is about overcoming fear and whatever demons we're dealing with in our minds and lives, so the video was pretty apt IMO.

Veridia singer, you are the best singer out there, of all genres. Air one does not play you enough. You show how life is for people that are going through bad times. You are awesome, and so far, I'm still breathing! Thank you for your songs - they are inspirational!

Watched them years ago at Night Of Joy at Walt Disney World in Florida and boy they ROCKED the house! The MOUSE house that is!! That same night Skillet was there and so we got to see veridia and Skillet on the same night!!! Skillet was in front of the castle and had Disney's pyro set to their music. When when we were watching Veridia they were in tomorrow land but they should have been on the castle front stage as well. My gosh what a set of pipes Deena has And the band is amazing!
