    No, thank you for talking up.
    In these lockdown times I feel so disconnected. So it's great that you are talking about the journey

    Hi 👋 so glad I found you. I agree with you about signing too early. I only signed to an audit firm in my CTA year.
    Awesome video 🌸

      Yeah, signing too early can be a disadvantage.

    I heard that if you did your articles at an audit firm then you will be able to sign off financials but if you did not then you will not be able to. Is this true?
    Are CA's who did not do their articles in audit eligible for partnership in audit firms?

    Hey there! Thank you so much for the amazing video(s). I will be studying towards a Bachelor of Accounting degree next year at the University of the Free State. I am a recipient of the SARB bursary. As such, it is highly prospective for me to be part of their one-year graduate development program, in 2024 after obtaining my BAcc(Hons). Is there perhaps anything prominent that I should consider in this regard, about public practice maybe? Thank you very much.

      Hi Lerato.. Sorry for getting to you a bit late.
      So in training you have two choice TIPP or TOPP (training in /out of public practice). Where you are with SARB would put you out of public practice,while the audit firms would be in public practice. Things you should consider training out of public practice is that you won't get any exposure with other industries as you will be trained solely based on the SARB business strategy. However this has some benefits if you know for sure that this is what you want to do in your career, you get a headstart and learn the business inside out..
      Both have advantages and disadvantages, it's just up to you to decide what you want.
      I hope this helps❤️.

      Hi Lerato... I'm also planning on doing my BAcc and just wanted to know how's it going?

    I was binded from middle matric as well. Financial burdens and tie downs. Another benefit, I'm actually bound to my firm for another year after my three years.🙂😢
    It's a tough one, if financial constraints aren't an issue, then definitely explore your options.
    Every sub holiday, enjoy a new firm and then decide.
    Great video btw!💓
    But also there are positives to audit. Today, I can't think of many, but there are there. 🙈
    The exposure is unmatched.
    The teams you work with.
    You grow so much as a person.
    Scope out your future employers?

    • @NtwanieNgomane
      @NtwanieNgomane  5 лет назад +1

      Thanks Nicola,
      But how are you still bound for the another year though? (if you don't mind me asking) 🙈 it's normally just 3 years...
      I totally agree on the positives.. There are a lot and I think people also need to know that.
      It's just when you're still starting out it's so hard all you see are the negatives. 😥
      Financial issues got us all hei.. But I'm greatful because without that bursary I don't know where I'd be right now.
      Thanks for sharing❤️

    You know going into Banking is very hard,as they take a very little number of trainees and of course the golden key students and all that,so how can I get around that?

    • @NtwanieNgomane
      @NtwanieNgomane  5 лет назад +2

      Totally agree, banks have more stricter intake processes. I think you can only try to really do well in the interview. Prove yourself to be an asset, someone who can bring value to their company.
      In terms of marks.. There's really nothing much you can do than try perform you best.
      I hope that helps❤️

    Hy girl I came across your video as I was searching for accounting articles and I'm so grateful I did.
    I'm doing my third year in Bachelor of Accounting Science in financial at Unisa and should be doing my CTA next year. I've been trying to firgure out if I should TIPP for the sake of it and firgure out everything else once I'm done but this video just opened my mind. I don't like auditing and genuinely want to see myself TOPP cause I love financial accounting more.
    Can I ask if there's a way one can contact you outside this platform for more advice cause I've hot a lot of questions if that is ok with you of cause.

    Will you still be identified as a CA if you don't do your articles at an audit firm?

    • @NtwanieNgomane
      @NtwanieNgomane  5 лет назад +3

      Yes, you will, as long as the company you're doing them with is accredited by SAICA.

    Hi there you got such an amazing voice ;) anyways I would like to know if SAIPA is good to do articles with? and is it possible to branch from Regent Business School to UNISA for a bridging course so one can do Honours program before doing my articles with SAICA? and is there a difference between a Professional Accountant and Chartered Account? Can I be CFO with SAIPA? Can I go into investment in corporate?

    • @NtwanieNgomane
      @NtwanieNgomane  5 лет назад

      Hey☺️ thank you,
      Yes, SAIPA is good to do articles with however, you will be a professional accountant and not a CA.
      With the bridging course, you will have to find out what the requirements at Unisa are for the bridging course and if you meet them then you be able to branch out.
      Yes there is a difference, I'll do a sit down video on the differences.
      You can definitely be a CFO with SAiPA and also go into investments..
      Please look out for a video on all of these in the next coming weeks.
      I hope this helps🙏
