the 'cream products + powder + powder products on top' combo is good for photography and stage because the lights won't wash out the makeup as much if there's a cream layer underneath the powders, but it IS a little bit too much for an everyday natural makeup
@@joyfulovelyz i think its on personal preference but there are some stuff to consider my personal advice is: if you wear light coverage foundation or just some concealer and like working with your hands or sponges(you can also use brushes but can be a bit tricky): go for cream. it looks really good and natural, once you get used to it its very easy to apply and get your makeup done in a few minutes. but do some research on which products to buy, some are too dry or too oily and that can disturb the base makeup if you wear a more heavy base and needs to keep the coverage intact, use powders. if it ends up looking too powdery you can finish with a setting spray or face mist. also powder products are easier to find and most of them are really good

They do have powder, I use the white compact powder from Diaso, it is almost the same as the famous innisfree sebum powder just cheaper. They also have better skincare products now made by valid skincare companies. Also, the jelly base twinkle pop glitter is a dream!

are you against trying a more rock or emo ish look I was inspired bu your videos to do a glam date with my nieces yesterday where we did face masks, skin scare, nails, and makeup together. It was fun. One is girls and 7 years old but wants to be a makeup artist when she grows up because she watched all types of RUclips makeup tutorials and gets her grandma to buy her so much makeup and the other just turned 15 and is finally allowed to use makeup according to her mother so she's just learning. The issue with my teenage niece is that she likes radically different colors and style than I do. she's into black or dark purple lip and like dark eye shadows in like black, grey, dark greens, etc.. but I'm like ugh I've no idea. So all I was able to teach her was how to buy and choose makeup and match her skin tones and then universal makeup application stuff. I was hoping to help her since it's Halloween and those colors seem to be her style LOL if you might be interested in doing a dark inspired makeup too.
Any recommendation on lip products that can stay for a long time and won’t fade weird bc i used the elf lip stain and it literally gave me a chapped lips look when it faded. I kind of like glossy lip stains.

If I can find a daily foundation without having to use my ($18.99 USD💀) CLIO Kill Cover too often then that would seriously be ideal 😭. And YES, I LIVE FOR BELIEF AQUA BOMB. It's been my go-to moisturizing cream for over a year now. I just love it. Even the Belief travel size items are amazing because they can last me a while even after a handful of Trips. ❤
Use this foundation and it was zero lasting power 😭 after 1-2 hours mine started cracking and separating. Same for both velvet and dewy! The contour power is pretty good tho, and I really like the contour stick!
