Rams are bad about the 3rd brake light being warped. Doesn’t look bad but next to a new oem 3rd brake light, it is a big difference. My 4th gen was leaking from there as well as the sunroof. Love the channel!

My last 3 4th gens had this on the head liner and never had a sunroof. It was always the third taillight
Sunroofs don't seal, so there is a gutter system to collect water, if they get clogged the water backs up in the vehicle.

My truck leaked through the third brake light gasket failing. Ram uses crappy foam and it degrades over time. I went to the hardware store and got marine gasketing that's like the weather stripping on the doors. Cut the old gasket off and put the new material on and screwed the lens back on. Waited a week and tightened again as the gasket collapsed and seated and haven't had a leak since. I will be cleaning my sunroof drains after this video as well.

Water came in through my 3rd brake light on my ‘18 and stained the headlight. Bad seal and it’s never been off.
Did you check the 3rd brake light. There notorious for leaking

It is definitely the 3rd brake light rams always leak there my 2020 did the same thing with a factory third brake light that was never removed even once
Check make sure your third brake light is tight too mine had stains in the back corners from loose third brake light
Swap the headliner pillars and door accents from a 1500 Rebel. All black, just how it should have came.

I’ve always had a center punch, I am unsure what’s it’s called but you push up on it and it’s like it it moves and the handle comes up and hits the center for a center punch works amazing beats the hammer and punch less work and easier, unsure on the name but have had it forever
My 2011 did the same thing. But it was the 3rd brake light. Replaced the light with a new seal. Fixed it.

Why not use the factory ram gooseneck prep package? It's cheaper than the B&W and it's factory, bolts right up.
Sprayaway glass cleaner will take the stain away. If ya wanna get fancy you can use a steamer
We install B&W where I work for dealers before the trucks are sold. The 3/4 tons are the worst because of the coils in the rear. Still, I wouldn’t go with any other way of towing.
Greg, soak your headliner down with some glass cleaner. Alcohol based. Scrub with a towel. It will remove the water stains.
The bolts in my third brake light have come loose twice before I put lock tight on em and they would leak into the cab.
Well I guess I'll be cleaning my drain holes tomorrow on my 18.

The release lever on my b&w on my 15 has an actual handle. I guess That newer design is cheaper for them to make
Seeing to much in common. Harbor freight bits with 1/8th and 1/4" missing. Harbor freight small paint brushes for touch ups.

The sunroof isn't leaking, its the dually crying cause it doesn't have it's new wheel and tire setup on yet.😢

Its not the sunroof its the third brake light i work at a body shop and own 2 4th gens its always the 3rd brake light go to a glass shop and get some butal tape or dum dum is what we call it its basically a sticky rubber rope and just run it around the inside of your brake light where the factory foam is and that should seal it right up

next time you could use a small sling and engine hoist and pull it up through the hole

Yes TSC has horse stall mats. Usually stacked outside.
My 2018 3500 done same thing as yours but mine was the 3rd brake light. Showed in the exact same place as yours. Mine was warranted by the stealership but unfortunately they had to remove my windshield to replace my headliner.

My daughter has a flood in her car from the tube being plugged up in the sunroof drain I tried to unblock it and was successful but it happened again and she traded it in and why I’ll never buy a vehicle with a sunroof if I want sun I’ll buy a convertible vehicle 😂😂😂!!!!
