Very well played. So there is actually a way to avoid Spectre's special. It's not entirely consistent, but it is mostly consistent. Every time the missile zigzags, the next zig and zag will be longer than the last, and eventually it will zig too wide to be able to hit you, and the trick to avoiding it is to hit the brakes, sit still and let it circle you. However, as I'm sure you know, sitting still kinda sucks, and leaves you vulnerable to the other bots (if there are any left) and/or lets Spectre get farther away from you to bombard you with more ghosts. The counterplay to it has a lot of potential to be worse for you than just eating the damage and stagger of the ghost missile head on. Not always worse, but sometimes.
Good to see you cooking on here again bro. Also lol at 25:00 Shadow showing why he’s my absolute favorite to deal with. You’re right about the TM 1 levels btw, it legit feels like they were designed as if they were real spaces that you just so happened to be going into, as opposed to the arena brawler stages that occupy TM2. It is pretty clear that Black took heavy inspiration from the originals level design especially on stages like Suburbs, Freeway and Prison Passage.
Normally Shadow never gives me too much of an issue, but he definitely remembers when you spam ricos at him or his buddies because he's the only one to normally give that kind of BS back. I would watch your full run of all the TM1 vehicles, but I've been asked before about that game, and it's something I might have to showcase here. I forgot the uploaders name, but he compared TM1 levels to TM2 and it's kinda obvious when you look at them. Even the gravity in 1 is more realistic. Sometimes I wonder does Twisted Metal work better with the pseudo realism or the odd comic arcade physics style.
@@mr.bp-dcbg For some reason he just loves to turn his ass to me and 1 tap me with 10 specials at once. Also the fact he can combo so many weapons together with rapid fire is pure agony to deal with. All good man always looking forward to getting more people on TM 1. It’s my personal 2nd favorite in the franchise behind Black. It’s good to see it getting more attention. It was a nice warm up for me too since I’ve been wanting to try Black and 2 100% runs at some point too. If you do end up making your way onto it, I got plenty of goodies to share with ya. The realism of the level designs and weight to the vehicles is honestly a big part of the reason I enjoy it so much. Personally I think both styles can work based on how they’re implanted. Black felt like they tinkered with both elements in their design and I enjoy the driving and vehicle physics in that game.
@@lordraiden1038 Well with Shadow, he technically can only have one special out at a time, it's just the hitbox and the demon in him really doesn't like it when the player gets towards his casket. He actually seems to really hate Roadkill as that's the only vehicle I've ever seen him try to deliberately eliminate at pointblank range firing off 15 specials. 1's steering is very clunky so it's gonna take a long time getting used to that game if I do enjoy it, that and having to come to a full stop to actually activate the reverse. Your last paragraph makes me wonder about 2012 and it's gameplay and movement system, and even Head-On since those tend to get mentioned and played the least IMO.
Yeah, 1 is something I actually played the least of the original 4, and I might have to write that in at some point once I get living arrangements settled (Still living in a car, and just recently got my old job back). It's very weird going from 2 to 1 because of the more realistic approach to movement, and being an "arcade junkie" in terms of how I like a game I for some reason prefer 2's movement system out of any TM game I've played so far.
No clue. Maybe his special was slightly nerfed? Some of the vehicles are easier to handle like Roadkill. I should update the description to mention the changes I noticed.
The future seems like it's going to look up, but it's gonna take a good month to find a place instead of my car. Appreciate the support. Things good on your end?
@mr.bp-dcbg Hoping to get in touch with Lincoln UTI in the coming weeks to enroll for the fall. Hopefully that goes somewhere. It's a step by step process but hopefully the uphill climb is worth it

Glad to see you uploading playthroughs again 😊. Hope you are doing well. I did see your other message and my ADHD having ass forgets to respond if I don't do so immediately after reading. I am interested in playing through and will share it with friends as well. Funnily enough, I just had pizza while watching this. Hope it was tasty

I hope you got that pizza BONELESS
Never had pizza with bones, lol.
There's gonna clips of this mod unfortunately complaining a lot about Spectre. Please be prepared in the future.
I'm the same way with pizza. I know I'll feel like crap after, but damn does it taste good lol
1:55 lol she was too hype 😂😂
Gotta wonder who was the overseer for programming these CPU players. They had to have been augmented themselves.
i love TM2 and its arcade handling but i also love 1.

@mr.bp-dcbg gunning for the electrical program. I thought about the other programs but I think overall electrical might be best for me.

Ayo back at the bullshit lol
Well at least the runs are complete. Twister was the most problematic, and this was easier than deathless runs in the OG game.
@@mr.bp-dcbg twister was a slog I'm sure you have a bunch of footage of deaths with her
