Well done sir. We call that brass valve with the 3 threaded connections a 'manifold'. I have heard about that technique to seal the thread using what looks like hemp (maybe called oakem) but haven't used it myself. We just use Teflon tape. I would love to see how you filter the black water. We call the freeze resistant liquid 'antifreeze'.

      Hi MollyDolly
I was looking at getting one of these : www.vvs-eksperten.dk/roer-fittings/pex-roer-fittings/fordelerroer/fordelerroer-afsp3-afg-15mm
I´d like to be able to turn off each radiator.
I have filtered the first 10liters of black water/antifreeze,, it was not interesting video :-/ See the video where i filter battery acid... same same :-) ruclips.net/video/7-DrD1vE8vk/видео.html
I will snap a picture for you, and put it on Google+ maybe tomorrow.
      Thank you for watching! :-)

My PlayHouse We don't use Pex here...I have only watched Troy doing it, but it looks interesting.

My PlayHouse You do know Pex is a completely different system from yours, right?

      Hi MollyDolly
As far as I am aware, PEX is the plastic type you use. And there are several different ways to assemble it?? Is it wrong?

My PlayHouse Yes, Pex is used in the US. Troy used it in New York, but we just don't use it as a matter of preference. My husband is a plumber and it is legal just not yet a customer preference.

Looks like you should've picked up a dolly/hand truck at that tool sale you went to. Always useful to have around for moving stuff on your own.

Hello, is there a risk of water leaking if the system is appearant not hidden inside the walls. And the system is made with a mutilayer system not a metal système

radiator heat was much much better then air forced heat i dont understand why they changed over air forced heat is too dry and probablly more expensive for the tenant

Why does you camera sound like a geiger counter? & you need to wear some protection as there is a lot of radiation in you heating pipes.
