I've been to the Queen Mary once, many years ago. Sadly, I wasn't aware of the buffet. What an elegant atmosphere indeed. I'd love to go back to try the buffet. What a great interaction with the staff, friend! You have an infectious personality. 😊
An amazing buffet and very reasonably priced. The seafood buffet and roasted meats would be my favorites! It was a treat to see petit fours. You’re so polite and friendly. You brought out the best in all the servers! Thanking them as though they were personally serving you.

It's a $49 buffet but the extra $30 gets you the champagne, the live music, and the great atmosphere, all of which were experienced in this great video.

I’ve attended this buffet many times. The food and service is outstanding and the vibe in that room is amazing. I don’t know if they still have this, but if they do and you can go….DO IT! The Reef is also a great choice.

It is worth a visit, though the cost was a bit on the high side. I also found out that you can actually stay on the QM like a hotel -- but there are comments that it is somewhat haunted :-)

wow, i'm impressed that they have sushi besides the usual salmon. i personally love swordfish sushi and sashimi. p.s i love the music choice of the place. a lot of places play horribly noisy songs but this one is so chill.

They have a nice breakfast menu too if you don't want to spend $80 bucks. Take a tour of the boat museum if you have time. Its pretty creepy down in the motor room

I never had a chance to visit the tour's because my friend wasn't feeling too well, but definitely want to go back for a visit. Thank you for this information, I've heard the place was haunted and even the staffers that took me around we're a little afraid of walking by themselves, they usually walk in pairs. I would definitely go and tore the motor room and the museum for sure, thank you again :-)

It was quite a grand ship! I'll definitely pass on the "...king of the world" pose -- although I did see many others doing that at the front of the ship. --gave a bit of a chuckle :-)
Another great blog, Tim. Such a regal setting... even the food presentations were beautiful. Ironically, I was out in Orange County in the middle of December, and stayed with a buddy of mine in Long Beach 12/15-16. We drove over to the Queen Mary that Sunday before he dropped me back off near Disneyland for the rest of my trip. Happy New Year!

Hey Sparkz ... Sushi there was quite nice...they even take out the rice for sashimi style if you're getting too full😉. Quite a nice place 🙂
wut a great place.the buffet is amazing.it's more like wut they'd have on a menu than buffet meals.i'd luv all those berries.+all the desserts lkd so delish.

I take time stay couple hrs go slow
I try not to lie down immediately after, but I will grab ginger ale or seltzer water to drink.
They have a nice breakfast menu too if you don't want to spend $80 bucks. Take a tour of the boat museum if you have time. Its pretty creepy down in the motor room
Thank you Mike, by the way loves your username. Thank you for pointing this out, the $80 was certainly a little steep from my end. I never had a chance to visit the tour's because my friend wasn't feeling too well, but definitely want to go back for a visit. Thank you for this information, I've heard the place was haunted and even the staffers that took me around we're a little afraid of walking by themselves, they usually walk in pairs. I would definitely go and tore the motor room and the museum for sure, thank you again :-)

It was quite a grand ship! I'll definitely pass on the "...king of the world" pose -- although I did see many others doing that at the front of the ship. --gave a bit of a chuckle :-)

Another great blog, Tim. Such a regal setting... even the food presentations were beautiful. Ironically, I was out in Orange County in the middle of December, and stayed with a buddy of mine in Long Beach 12/15-16. We drove over to the Queen Mary that Sunday before he dropped me back off near Disneyland for the rest of my trip. Happy New Year!
Thanks again Rick! What a co-incidence! I was there in Long Beach on 12/15 and 12/16 as my friend and I were about to start a cruise! We boarded our cruise on Sunday and would have been at the area. That's when we passed by the QM and thought it would be good to visit after the cruise. Was very happy they had the brunch that day! All the best Rick!

Buffets all over the world love it. I want to go this one. you should try harrahs buffet in cherokee North Carolina. it’s pretty good crab 🦀 legs on Sundays
