I was there that evening with all these great musicians from the 1960's and 1970's. What a groovy night. I was dancing and singing to all of the oldies. It's great to see everyone!!I looking forward to The Happy Together Tour of 2013!!
I saw them too and no they are not getting better even though it was nice to go back to those days it was also really sad to see ,time can be so cruel and to see those great people still hanging on brought tears to my eyes specially since I’m older than most of them🤷♂️
He doesn't have to be Rob to be fabulous and the Turtles more than fulfill a History of their own, in their own time, In History!!! in My time in history. They showed the world it was time for change with a different style and melody of their own!!!!
Where the heck was this? Poor Buckinghams! Only about 45 seconds before we moved on to the Grass roots Midnight Confessions! And then... just 50 seconds of the Grass roots before Puckett and "Young Girl" took the stage! Wow! I wanna hear the FULL songs of all of these! And then Mickey Dolenz took the stage with Steppin stone! Then... the Turtles returned with a bah bah bah of So happy together!. And they even cut that one off! Yikes!
This was at the CA State Fair. All those songs were performed in their entirety during the show. What you're seeing here is the Grand finale of the show where all performers came out for a medley of the show.
I still think the Turtles could have done a TV show like the Monkees and been successful, they were quite the characters themselves back in 1966-67. Also--"Stepping Stone"--believe it or not, the Sex Pistols did a cover of that Monkees tune and they kicked ass with it
Really Great to see all these great singers and acts together but the sound results are near garage band quality really bad like they gave up on getting it right. It's more like a karaoke party. But still wish I could have been there. Super talented people
Mickey Donlenz still sings great . Without Rob Grill I don’t know about the Grassroots. Most of those guys are around my age . Those were good times . Maybe a little Eric Burton ?
Warren Entner is a friend of my sister's..original member of the Grassroots. I don't think that was him! He went to Jr. High and High School with her. She still sees him in her neighborhood.
Really beautiful 🥰. All my old favorite artists & songs not heard in ages.

IS THIS THE TUDDLES ?
Lead singer of real Buckinghams is Dennis Tufano..he is the best. Grassroots are just people who were in the real band for a short time!
He ain't no Rob Grill...
he looks spooky
sadly the Tracy Cuff-Links gent is really no match for the Howard brilliance thats certain.
rob grill was the grass roots these guys are impostors
The fake roots!
