Wylie did such a fucking amazing job with Michael's role
RIP to them both... 2 Beautiful souls gone too soon. What I have noticed, is when Tribute Artists perform Billie Jean, they forget that Michael did the Moonwalk a 2nd time at the end of the performance. Wylie definitely captured the essence and did an amazing job. The best I've seen thus far (other than Michael of course).

This guy did a great emulation to Michael Jackson's dance moves in the Motown 25 performance. This is the best impersonator I have seen. However, in the filmmaking part of this, there were too many close-ups. They should have showed more far angles so you can see his dance moves more.
Aside from the glove being on his right hand (whereas Michael wore it on his left for Motown 25), and some of the dance moves being a little slow...this is still the best recreation we'll likely ever see for a film. Wylie Draper worked his butt off; you can tell he must have studied MJ's performance many times over. His lip-synching is almost perfect, as well.
The palm-side of the glove is all glittery. In reality this type of glove came along in the 1984 Jacksons Victory Tour.
MJ began wearing a glove partially to cover his "Vitiligo Blasts" he had on his hand in the early '80s' as portrayed in "Man in the Mirror: The Michael Jackson Story". It is considered a spiritual 2 this & doesn't sugar-coat as this miniseries does, which isn't surprising as Motown w/Jermaine Jackson produced the miniseries!!😜
He gave justice to MJ from those imitators who tried so hard to imitate him.

Impressive. The critics were trying to say it looked too "pantomine" but I think what was more important is that a new genre could witness what I saw first hand as a 15-year-old! What impressed me when I witnessed it that night was how MJ was giving his ALL.
