- Pokémon Survivor is the ultimate Pokémon Challenge! 3 players, 15 Pokémon games and challenges, and 18 total Pokémon competing to be the first ever winner of Pokémon Survivor! We tested out several mini-games from drawing Pokémon, Pokémon trivia and quizzes, games like Pokémon guess who and Pokémon deal or no deal!

Just binged the entire S1 of Pokémon Survivor and REALLY REALLY wish there was more! Love the concept and the execution! Excited for the potential S2 in the future
Absolutely loved the concept! Though I will say that one think i would have liked to see more of would be the occasional breakdown of the overall point standings. Even if you didn't go over it with the players so they would be in the dark, it would have been nice for the Audience to be given more information to understand the current status and have a better idea of what the stakes were of individual players/pokemon doing well.
Additionally rather than showing that a pokemon was "1st" or "3rd" it might be more clear to either replace that or ALSO include "+6" and "+4". This one isn't a big deal, but the overview screen just before the elimination was revealed has a lot of information to take in so I often found myself pausing to remember which pokemon were worth more and just provide myself with a better overview of where things stood.
But please understand these criticisms are minor compared to how great this series was and I hope you can do something like it again.

such a fun idea and a great video! i would have loved to hear more live reactions and debates and negotiations from the teams. the games are fun, but its more fun hearing the human aspect of them, thats part of what makes reality shows like survivor so appealing to so many!

This was a really creative idea, and loved the whole game! If you plan to do a season 2 I'd love to see more of the interaction and chatter between the players, a lot of the fun is seeing the players interact, especially before and after the "voting" phase, especially if you keep the format of when some of the tribes merge, like seeing the reactions when there are betrayals for votes would have been hilarious! But a really fun idea overall and hope you keep up that passion for any future videos you do :D

Watched all 3 episodes in a row, that was so fun,. was gonna say "I hope you do more of these!" but then remembered it's season 1, so you have to otherwise it's clickbait and false advertising, and that's not cool :p

I want to give this series a go with my friends, I wanted to ask if I was allowed to do this and if I can, any tips on where to get started?
I think the elimination phases should also be affected by the Pokémon’s points, and you can vote a member of any tribe that isn’t the winning tribe.
For example, if Pokémon A is 3 points, B is 2 points, and C is 1 point, then if A loses, they automatically have 3 votes on themselves, but they can still cast 3 votes onto other Pokémon. This way there’s much more of a risk/reward factor to putting in high value Pokémon
Issue with this is that in the early game you're feeding opponents info on who your powerful 'mons are (regardless of who you choose, high or low), even in the late game it's not great because you may end up being completely eliminated just due to having no voting power from earlier rounds (other two took the high scoring options, and you've only got one low scoring 'mon of your own, which cuts out your ability to actually affect the game)... It just makes the game much more swingy, much less tactical, and kicks you hardest when you're down already.
Also doesn't even remotely match the source survivor game, which itself is a pretty big reason to not consider this.
@@marioland3000 how would you be feeding your opponents info on who your powerful mons are? The opponents don’t see who gets how many votes. All they’ll know is that someone was voted out, which is exactly the same as the current way
This was a very well done three part series. Exciting and enjoyable. I literally yelled outloud the last time shuckle won immunity I was that into it. The final vote did feel underwhelming tho, maybe because the other three weren’t there so we couldn’t hear their reactions to it. Definitely would watch again, just the ending needs some kind of tweak to it

A little disappointed by how little the actual Pokemons mattered. Would've been cool if you guys even did a battle online or something
watched the whole series. some ideas were good while others were just bad. the ending was kinda dumb because no matter how good you did the guy who did the best by far only had their chances to win go up from 33.3% to 35.8%. like the guy who did the best should at least have a 10% chance more than the worst but it was only 4.6%. and the person who did the worst ended up winning
One thing I think you're understating is just how close this game was to begin with. This Shuckle only lead by 6 points, one whole round of points with their ace. That's actually not all that much to be 1 round ahead after 15 rounds (18 rounds if you count the final Pokemon bonus points as three rounds which each team won once), it's actually quite narrow! Why then should the odds be better when this number works as an objective score, the value they got out of their risks and gameplay? Sure that team won many more rounds, but they also took many fewer risks and didn't get as much from it with several 1 scores along the way, I don't see why that sort of play should be rewarded with a mountain of free points.
Even if it did have bonus points just for coming in first place overall, it may not have changed anything at all either. The underdog can win, that's how Survivor works. Two strong players may protect and keep a weaker one around thinking they can beat them and then get schooled during the final challenge, there absolutely should not be guarantees here or extra rewards for the winner beyond the norm. Even if the odds were skewed a ton in that team's favor, the underdog should not be denied their win just because it's less likely. That's how Survivor as a game plays out sometimes, two better players keep a third underdog behind they think they can beat and then they get schooled in the finals. If you don't want that to happen, you should have tried to eliminate a player outright and tried to secure 2 Pokemon in the final 3 instead.
These arguments seem rather silly to me on this line of "point winner should win even harder" in a super close score game. If anything it's more unfair for the underdogs to feed better odds to the leader. I just really don't think you thought through either the source material, how close the scores actually were, or the fact that these scores are an already objective metric of risks taken. There's just no reason for the leader to have a 10% bonus here that's in any way justifiable.

I think if Fan Favorites had come into play, especially the Super Fan Favorite with the buff to double a players points in the final 3 there would have been a greater disparity at the end. I also like that it means every victory along the way matters for your eventual chance to win.

I mean, that's a lot like the CBS Survivor. Russell Hantz played back-to-back dominant games and made final tribal in Samoa and HvV, but that didn't make him win.
