Well, I get the point of being motivated to work towards goals... But I can honestly say that I’ve had mansions & a sports car...and it all ended up meaning nothing to me. I walked away from it. God changed the desires of my heart in the journey of life & maturity. To me now it’s not about seeking to live in poverty nor about seeking to live with riches but about my needs simply being met & about doing what I’m called to do for Christ whether it brings money & nice things or a life of simple necessities. *Just another perspective of a believer somewhere further down this road & journey through this life.😉 Thanks for the inspiration to create a vlog channel! I admire your courage to be vulnerable out here & plan to start my own channel soon!
@@richardlubanga6749 I’ve learned that it means a whole lot of things to “prosper”...and that the material things (other than needs) are only a part of prosperity. My shift became towards seeking a whole well rounded abundant life over a lavish material life. I think over time it just happens as you literally watch earthly things rot & decay...they are so temporal. I am glad I experienced having a brand new bright shiny convertible sports car & I drove it for 12 years! Lol But I would not want to spend my money that way again now. I am content now with basic comfortable reliable transportation & more so focused on doing what God wants me to do whether it is a big ‘money making’ ministry/business life or not. Like Paul said, in Phil 4:11-13 “11Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. 12I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the SECRET of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. 13I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”
