- Quick open box look at my new gf5 ak47 from palmetto state armory! Ordered on 1/27/21 and brought it home 2/2/21! Awesome shipping time palmetto state! Might go shoot it tomorrow or Friday. ALG trigger is sweet with a light reset and minimal take up before it breaks. Can’t wait to take it out.

Your new rifle looks awesome Cesar the red furniture looks outstanding. Recently got a GF5 as well but with Zhukov furniture. I love mine. I think the price is actually reasonable since it comes with an FN CHF chrome barrel and ALG trigger. Their warranty is outstanding. I hope your have fun shooting it.

I just bought one of these on Friday. I was hoping to get the one with the nutmeg wood, but they only had them with the black polymer furniture. Doesn't matter tho, since I'm gonna replace the furniture with some nicer wood anyway. I might have to file the mag catch a little bit tho, because some mags don't wanna click in place
I think you got the better furniture. The black one has a heat shield in it and the wood ones do not. Yours is more user friendly unless you plan on wearing gloves a lot.
In a month or 3 you'll be slamming that mag in perfect kid!!!!
I'm going to be placing a bid on a nutmeg one in a few days and if I cant get that then I am buying one of these. I'm excited for my first AK

@@btc-rat520 so it ended up not happening because the ffl I sent it to is a terrible place full of lazy people. Who in fact couldn't give it to because they have to put in the system when its already been there for 4 hours and not only that they are all just dicking around
I tried a different FFL than I usually use with while shopping for my gf5. She was on file with PSA and before I started shopping for the gf5 I called this ffl and she told me 90% of her transfers are from PSA. And she only does about 5 transfers a month so she’s quick to call me to pick it up. She was actually putting it in her books while I went to pick it up. She said as soon as the delivery guy left she called me up!! She has by business for now on!

PSA makes a great feature rich AK. I went with polymer. That wood is pretty but I plan on using my weapons hard. Get'em while you can folks - tyranny is on the horizon.
Thanks! I’ve always like the LOOK of redwood but I noticed it feels sort of slick, maybe after a few range trips it’ll break in some. I have a gf3 with magpul furniture and I’ve rode that one kinda hard this last year, very dependable rifle!

Another guy complained that they hand guards got really hot while firing the AK. Did you get a chance to fire yours and did you wood hand guards get very hot?
All wooden AK’s get hot on the hand guard. The black polymer ones come with a heat shield inside

No magazine? Now that's odd. One because it should have a magazine but two because it's a Magpul all plastic - not exactly something worth stealing or not including. Unless you live somewhere that can't have 30 round magazines I'm curious where your magazine is lol

Had to thumb down that! That sucks! You paid for the mag because the description for the rifle says mag IS INCLUDED! Sorry that happened to you. What model did you get?
@@cesardm43 GF5 bro. Pretty penny for them not to include something in the deal. I contacted them and waiting for a reply. This would be my 3rd PSAK. I have the GF3, PSAK pistol, and the GF5. I can't wait to let loose on my GF5.
